Vaughn Siblings

Lit and I were walking to the dining hall because she mentioned it was time for dinner. I simply marveled at the size of Vampire High as we made our way through; she had said it would take about 5 hours to tour the entire campus due to its immense size. We were only in the first half, and by the time we reached the 7th hallway, I was worried I might lose my way. According to Lit, that meant Vampire High was truly spectacular.

"Here we are!" Lit exclaimed with enthusiasm as we joined some Vampire High students entering the dining hall. My eyes widened at the sight of the vast dining hall, which featured ten long tables and chairs. On the side, there were 100 different dishes.

"Let's grab some food first," Lit suggested and pulled me toward the spread. The aroma was so enticing that I nearly drooled. After getting some food, we made our way to a nearby table.

"Why is there a table floating upstairs?" I asked, looking at the levitating table with six chairs.

"That's for the Vaughns," she replied, and I turned to her curiously.

"Who are the Vaughns? Are they treated like VIPs here?" I inquired. She laughed.

"You say that because you don't know them yet, but once you do, you'll understand why 'the Vaughns are very powerful,'" she explained. "The Vaughns are the richest, strongest, most powerful, and most beautiful family at Vampire High. Besides their wealth, they're known for their powers, their mischief, and their fiery nature."

"If you ever find yourself in front of them, expect to be tripped up," she warned. "So, when you meet the Vaughn siblings, make sure you know where you stand, okay?" She asked, and I nodded.

"The Vaughn siblings are coming!" someone shouted from outside the door, and we turned to look. Suddenly, the Vampire High students near the door scattered, making sure the path was clear. I even saw them wiping the floor, which made me frown. Was this the level of seriousness and grandeur required for their entrance?

It was as if we were in a movie, where the main character enters with dramatic wind and a hushed audience. A man with black hair, red lips, a sharp nose, and sea-green eyes entered. He had a mole beside his eye and wore a black leather jacket and black pants adorned with shining rings.

"That's Creed Lux Vaughn, the eldest of the Vaughn siblings. He's known to be hot-headed but nice once you get to know him. He's half vampire, half wolf. See his sea-green eyes? Those are his best feature, but be careful—they're hypnotic," Lit narrated.

I watched as Creed transformed into a bat and flew up to the floating table and chairs.

Next, two men who looked similar entered. The only difference was that one had brown hair with a slightly pointed nose, red lips, and very pale skin. He wore a black leather jacket, black pants, and a skull earring on his left ear; his eyes were magenta. The other man, who looked like him, had black hair, pale skin, very red lips, a pointed nose, and a skull earring on his lower lip. He wore army pants and a silver white T-shirt; his eyes were silver.

"Those are the Vaughn twins, Von Floyd Vaughn with brown hair, and Van Floyd Vaughn with black hair. Like Creed, they are half vampire, half wolf. You can't separate the two unless they're fighting. See their piercings? That's their signature feature. The skull design means you'll be in trouble if you cross them," Lit whispered to me.

The twins transformed into wolves, and I was startled when one brushed past our table on their way to their own elevated table. Von caught my eye and winked before joining his sibling.

Then two women entered. One had a cold aura, and the other seemed tall and imposing.

The first woman, with a cold aura, had gray hair that reached her shoulders, perfect eyebrows, a pointed nose, pink lips, and dark brown eyes. She wore headphones, gold bracelets, heels, denim shorts, and a plain black T-shirt.

The taller woman had blonde hair that reached her lower back, styled with a hairband and a braided center part. She chewed bubblegum and crossed her arms as she walked, with a pointed nose, kissable lips, and perfect eyebrows. Her eyes were ice blue, and she had a fair complexion. Her presence was quite striking.

"Those are the Vaughn twins. The gray-haired woman is Cosima Leona Vaughn, the quietest of the Vaughns—silent but deadly. The blonde-haired woman is Marchesa Leana Vaughn, the loudest of the Vaughns, though she seems subdued now because she's still in the hallway. But once she's seated at their table, expect her to be heard. Unlike the other three, these two are half vampire, half witch, due to their father. They have different mothers," Lit explained, and I nodded in understanding.

I watched as Leana snapped her fingers and Leona placed a hand on her shoulder, and in a flash, they were seated at the floating table.

"And last but not least," Lit began, looking towards the door, but no one entered.

"Fin's gone; he's off being his abnormal self again," I heard Leana call from above.

Gradually, all the students of Vampire High returned to their usual activities—loud but orderly, chaotic but controlled.

"Are they missing one?" I asked.

"Ah, Fin. That's typical when he's not in the mood. It's rare to see him with his siblings. He prefers solitude to their company," Lit replied, and I nodded.

Indeed, the Vaughn family was strikingly beautiful.
