3 - Brother

One by one, she considered what she should do tonight. She has a lot of projects and three assignments that she needs to finish before the class ends.

She'll be in senior high for the first time! To be honest, she lacked her older brother's intelligence and talent. Azael is always one step ahead of his peers in the classroom.

While she is already illiterate in math, she has no other talent than to eat constantly.

But, thanks to Azael's perseverance and patience in teaching her, she has improved her grades in each subject. He always tutored her in the subjects she struggled with, particularly math.

Amara climbed to her room after only an hour in the pool. She must now organize the projects that must be submitted. She was in the middle of her task when she abruptly came to a halt. Bullshit! Why is math such a popular subject around the world? Who designed it?! She had no choice but to knock on Azael's door.

When Amara opened it, Azael was wearing only boxer shorts, which devastated her. Its six-pack abs, as well as the V-line, are noteworthy! This is nothing new to her because she sees him topless in the pool all the time, but she can't help but be distracted. She averted her gaze and let out a loud sneeze.

"What the hell! Get your clothes!" She walked into his room and sat down.

Azael, his brother, shook his head and went to the closet to get a t-shirt. She was already lying on her back in her brother's bed. When she goes to her brother's room, she always does this.

"Get out of here, Mara; I'm tired. I'd like to get some sleep." He lay down on the right side of the big bed, his voice devoid of emotion. He drew his arm up to his brow and closed his eyes.

Azael's face drew her attention. What makes her older brother so attractive?

Is her brother aware that this, in addition to Theon, is one of her crushes? In her head, she laughed. She had a lot of crushes, and one of them was Herrence, a cousin Cuhen's friend. She might make it next year if she counts her crushes one by one. She burst out laughing at the thought.

She crept up to Azael and gazed at him as if he were a sleeping child. In one hand, she held a notebook and a ballpen. She won't leave his room until he teaches her something.

She softly called out, "Brother..."

He hasn't responded yet. "Are you dozing off?" Sh gently pressed her finger against Azael's cheek. There has been no response. She chewed her lower lip. He appears to be fast asleep.

"Big brother!" exclaims the child. She drew even closer to him and stared him down, as she had done before when she slept next to him as a child. Azael, on the other hand, ignored her when she entered grade 7. He was restless in bed and couldn't get a good night's sleep because she moved like a clock.

As she watched his very attractive face, she secretly smiled. His eyes, which are now closed, have a certain intensity to them. She is occasionally envious of its thick eyelashes, which add to its attractiveness. His brows are thick, and his sharp nose looks like it was drawn by a skilled artist. Its lips are reddish, as if inviting any woman to kiss it. She had to admit that her older brother was quite attractive. Is it possible that they are siblings, she wonders? Why is he so attractive while she is so ordinary?

.

She gently rested her head on Azael's chest, her gaze remaining fixed on him. She forgot to bring her phone, which she would have used to take pictures of Azael and sell them to her classmates for a hundred dollars each. And she gives the money she earns to homeless people on the street. It's just amusing because when it comes to her older brother's photographs, she has a lot of customers. Azael, on the other hand, does not have an Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook account. His life is far too personal!

She started stroking his hair. Her brother's hair is curly, which she likes because of its softness. Azael's hair was probably softer than hers. Their hair is the only thing they have in common. They both have curly hair.

He also failed to remember her assignments. While her finger was in Azael's hair, she just stared at him. Her brother is extremely attractive, and she is well aware of this. She hopes he isn't aware of her feelings for him, because if he is, her brother will tease her until she is enraged and sobs like a child.

"Stop, Amara, or I won't be able to stop myself..." He blinked open his eyes and took her hand in his.

“Why? Isn't it enough for me to just admire your good looks?" She inquired innocently.

Azael locked his gaze on her. She had no idea what those expressions meant. Slowly, he moved his hand to her cheek.

"Kuya..." It translates to "big brother." She gave a sweet smile.

"Fuck it!" exclaims the speaker. He cursed as if he had just awoken.

He stood up and walked out of the room. Azael did not turn around when she called out to him. So she waited a few minutes for him to return, but Azael was nowhere to be found, so she dropped her shoulder and returned to her own room.

Apart from being extremely protective, she senses that Azael is becoming increasingly strict and almost refuses to be around her. She never had a playmate as a child because Azael had always been there for her and that was enough for her. 'Bahay-bahayan' was her favorite game at the time.

Their children are stuff toys, and she is the mother and Azael is the father.

Azael was also her first kiss, as she recalls. She was ten years old when she imitated the Disney film Frog Princess. She asked him to kiss her out of the blue. Her brother didn't let her down; he kissed her on the lips, but it was only a smack. She was a huge fan of the frog princess and waited with baited breath to open her eyes after the kiss, only to be disappointed when she didn't transform into a frog.

She was curled up on the study table with her books and notes when she fell asleep that night. She was already in bed and covered with a blanket when she awoke the next day. Also completed and displayed on the side table are all of her assignments as well as her project. She gave a warm smile. Is it true that her brother despises her? Azael is smitten with her.

MONTHS later, Azael had become even more distant and repulsive to her. Is he avoiding her? It didn't arrive on her birthday last week, which irritated and annoyed her even more. She swears she'll ignore him for the rest of her life. Azael claimed he was in America and couldn't return because he was too busy. Duh! His face, America! Azael is with someone, she knows. She was on the verge of crying.

"Hey, Amara, you haven't seen your brother in a while?"

The question from a classmate made her frown. She had not seen the man in five months and was in senior high. That's the first time it's happened. Azael used to be irritated when he couldn't go home to the mansion, but now he doesn't appear to have any plans to return!

“Nothing. I don't give a damn about him! Let's go to an ice cream parlor. I'm craving ice cream." Despite the fact that they were not particularly close, she drew her classmate. The reason it's acting closer to her is because her classmate, Kuya Azael, has crushed her and is her top sales client.

When she saw someone, she had just finished three mouthfuls of the chocolate ice cream she had ordered. No! her eyes widened, and she stood up a little to double-check what she was seeing.

"Can you tell me what you're looking at?"

"Its kuya!"

"Huh?"

"Kuya Azael is in a relationship with a woman! OMG! Let's go!" She didn't finish her chocolate ice cream because she had to pull her classmate out unexpectedly.

"Amara!" She screamed, but she didn't pay attention.

She could also see the woman of his good brother, whoever she was. Is that why Azael doesn't have time to pay her a visit?

She couldn't be mistaken; she was very familiar with her big brother's posture. His elegance was further enhanced by its lush and curly hair. Up to elegant posture and broad shoulders. Her brain cells clashed as her gaze became more intense. She was eager to follow them, but they were the ones who had to wait.

Azael was escorted into an upscale restaurant by a woman who was holding her arm. She drew her classmate back in so they could both enter the restaurant.

They sit far enough away from Azael that he cannot see them. When she saw the woman gently slap her brother's chest, her brows and nose almost met in annoyance. The fact that it's Azael's girlfriend is far too obvious!

"Here's the menu, Ma'am." The menu was handed to her by the waiter.

"Can I place an order right now?" She asked, her gaze fixed on the two, as if she were a mountain about to erupt at any moment.

"Of course, Ma'am—"

She didn't let him finish because she ordered "Give me a big size bowl of boiling oil with lots of chili." She said without looking at the menu. "Lot of chilies, about a hundred in the super-hot! As sweltering as I am. I'm going to stab something, so add a lot of pepper and bring a chopstick with a very pointed tip. Faster!" she exclaimed, pushing the waiter away.

“Amara! There isn't anything like that here."

She paid no attention to her classmate.

"But Ma'am—"

She stood up as her eyes widened. "I'm certain! Do I appear to be joking about my appearance? I'm simply stunning, but I'm not joking. Is this supposed to be a joke on my face? Do you want me to perform a baby shark dance in front of you?" she asked rashly. Because of Azael, she was carried away by her annoyance! Her older brother irritates her!

Shit! She did, however, cover her mouth after saying all of that when she realized she was mistaken. All of the people's attention was focused on her.

I'm dead.

Her Brother Azael's voice asked, "Amara?"

"I'm not Amara Legrand!" She dragged her classmate out of the area and ran away without hesitation.

When Azael entered the dining room where she was eating dinner with their parents, She eapt to her feet. She's stuffed already.

"Are you finished?" Their father asked her.

"Yes!"

"You didn't add a fourth plate like you usually do."

She shivered. Their father is a jerk! Face to face, she was insulted.

"Today, Theon will call. All right, Dad, Mom!" She lied and kissed each of their cheeks. Azael's gaze followed her as she dashed up the stairwell.

"Hey, son, would you like to join us?"

"Mom, I'm full; I'm just going to sleep."

Amara's flying brain was roused by three faint knocks as she faced the cellphone. She gave a sly grin. She was certain it was Azael, and she had no intention of opening the door. Never! He'll die as he knocks on her door.
