6 - Mommy

The next day, she awoke with a headache, and the sun was shining brightly. She attempted to recall what occurred last night, but all she remembered was that they went to her brother's home and had a drink, and then she had no idea what happened after that.

She took a bath to relieve the pain in her head, and then she seemed to jokingly recall the kiss she had with Theon.

"Omo?" she exclaimed, covering her mouth and flushing. "Is that true? Wait..." he pushed, and the first thing that occurred to her was that she had insisted on kissing Theon, and she had also been the first to kiss the young man. "My God, Amara!" she trembled, embarrassed. So how is she going to deal with Theon? Shit! shit! shit! shit! shit! Embarrassing.

She had lost interest in leaving the house and going to school. She made the decision to skip class that day. She was able to cope to the humiliation she had caused! What was she thinking?! Despite the fact that Theon and her do not have a relationship, she kissed him?! Oh, my goodness! How is she going to face him now? The most humiliating experience she ever had! It's as if she's still aware of his lips on her... But, to be fair, she's trembling deep inside, but she can't move. She's a Filipina woman. She should have a conservative demeanor.

"Are you not going to school? You're late," her mother said as it entered the room.

She blushed. How could she tell her mother that she flirted last night? 'Mommy, I flirted theon to kissed me last night.' or 'Mommy, I'm getting married to my crush. Are you willing, please?' No. Neither of these options would prevent her mother from slapping her.

"Wait Mom, when did Theon deliver me last night?"

"Theon?"

"Um yes?"

"Your older brother Azael was with you last night, and he carried you to your room because you were drunk; I reprimanded him for allowing you to drink, but he promised me that was the last time."

If she was stunned before, she is even more so now that she has learned that Azael, not Theon, delivered her. Her mouth was covered as her eyes expanded.

Isn't it true that she kisses Azael, her older brother? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! How could she?! She wanted to yell and cried.

AS she walked down the stairs that morning, she and Azael exchanged glances. Her entire face was flushed. Azael looked dashing in his business suit, but she wasn't in the mood to compliment him.

Amara, you're a jerk! All women on the face of the earth are cursed because of you. But no, even if I say my older brother drove me home, I know he's not the man I kissed last night.

She took a breather on that section. She knew it was Theon she kissed, so she shifted her eyes to Azael and regained it first. They didn't even get close!

Why is he in the mansion now, when he hasn't been there in a long time since he was flirting with his girlfriend? When she remembered his ugly doll girlfriend Annabelle, she scowled.

She walked directly into the dining room and sat at the table.

"I'm starving, Nanang. What are our options for breakfast?" she respectfully inquired of their butler, whom she had known since childhood.

"What a kid! You're skipping class again?" she exclaimed.

"Nanang, I'm hungry..." she said simply.

"Serve her coffee with loads of cream and a pancake, Nanang," Azael remarked as he followed her into the dining room and sat down in front of her.

Their butler turned away right away; they had house maids but it always prepares for the two of them and her older brother in the morning.

He began, "So..."

"So?"

"Are you going to absent today?" He asked, his face furrowed.

She rolled her eyes and ignored Azael. They're not like before, when they were so sweet with each other. It's gone, it's gone since Azael avoids her for reasons she doesn't understand and there's always no time for her. She would understand if he said he had a girlfriend, but he never said he had a girlfriend! So what does she care about Azael? They're not close enough. Hmp!

She ate quietly, hastening it because she was annoyed by the way Azael looked at her and remembered that it was he who had brought her home the night before... Maybe she didn't kiss him, Isn't it?

He called out, "Mara."

She ignores him; it will refer to her by her nickname when it wants to say something, but whatever; she is also busy. Finish! She quickly drank the not-too-hot coffee and bolted from the scene. She had already decided that she would attend school that day, and she didn't want to see Azael's hideous face.
