SAVED

"We gotta get outta here."

"Why?" Oliver asked.

"Some psycho is out there killing people! We have to go!"

They all quickly dressed.

"What about the girl?"

"Leave her!"

All of them left me there.

The door was wide open for this killer.

I hoped he would kill me.

Begged for it to happen.

But we don't always get what we wished for. I heard the creaking of the door, but I just stared above me.

I didn't care what happened anymore.

I felt the ropes being taken off.

I turned my head and saw a man.

His red eyes are the only thing visible in the dark room. I tried to move but found that I couldn't. He yanked off the bandana.

I opened my mouth to scream? Yell?

I don't know.

But it was like my voice was gone.

He lifted my body and he sniffed from my hair to my neck. As if he were searching for something. He looked at me. His face is a mere centimeter away. The faint light from the street light outside gave me a clearer image of this killer.

His red eyes were dark and stood out like ruby. His black hair was messy and swept across his forehead. But what really got me, was the red on his lips. It definitely wasn't a smeared lip stick either.

Blood. It was blood.

He licked his teeth and I saw stains of red. I took a deep intake of breath seeing his sharp teeth. He looked at me intensely. I don't know what he was searching for, but whatever it was. He found it. Because he lowered his head back to my neck.

I felt his teeth break the skin at my neck. I let out an ear piercing scream from the pain. My body was on fire. I felt like every part of my body started to shut down and the world started to spin. I didn't care that I was naked in front of a stranger. I didn't care that this stranger was some psycho killer.

The more he bit into me, the more it hurt. But then the strangest thing happens. I moaned from pleasure. I felt myself pushing my body closer to his. My hands went to his head, urging him to keep going.

What has gotten into me?

He pulled away from me.

Licking the red from his lips once again. He looked at me with heated eyes. Then he did the unexpected. He took off his leather jacket and draped it across my limp, naked body. He tore clothes from the bed sheets and placed them where my neck was bleeding.

I started to feel sleepy.

My eyes started to droop.

He bent down beside the bed.

He was right beside me.

I turned my head towards him.

He pushed stray hair out of my face and caressed my cheek. "We'll meet again. Soon." And with that promise, he left.

I don't know how long I stayed in place. I felt the urge to pull him back and beg him to stay, but I couldn't. It's like I was paralyzed in some dream state.

The colors in the room just seemed to mesh together and my head was spinning. I felt this strong buzz in my head. It kept getting louder and louder. If I were ever to be shot in the head, I would think the feeling was similar to how I felt now.

I wanted to cradle my head and cry from the ringing pain. I wanted to cover my exposed body. I wanted to wipe the blood off my body from my bleeding neck. But I didn't. Because I couldn't.

Somewhere between the pain and confusion, I felt myself drifting away. But not before I saw a figure. I hoped it was him, but it wasn't. I knew because when this person touched me, I didn't feel the masochistic ecstasy.

Ugh, my head was killing me.

I tried to open my eyes, but I found it painful to do so. I felt the cotton bed sheet beneath me. My hands grasped onto the thin, silk blanket that was covering me. I moved my head side to side and found the pain still throbbing on my neck.

I managed to open my eyes and saw an off white ceiling. Where the hell am I? I blinked slowly, adjusting to the darkness of the room.

I lifted myself off the bed and sat up right. It was seriously hot so I threw the silk blanket off me. As I swung my feet to one side of the bed, I felt a pain between my legs.

I hunched over in pain.

I squeezed my eyes shut trying to block out the pain. I felt tears prickle my eyes.

I heard a door swing open. A stream of light shined from the doorway. "Is everything alright?"

I squinted and saw a man at the door.

He turned on the lights in the room.

I flinched at the sudden brightness.

"What's happening to me?" I cried.

But then everything seemed blurry and soon I blacked out. After I passed out he quickly grabbed his phone and called 911. He told them what had happened and they were at the house within 20 minutes.

They picked me up, put me on a stretcher and rushed me to the hospital. He got in his car, and he quickly closed the door. After he started the engine, he started to practically speed to the hospital.

He didn't care if he got a ticket, I was the only thing that mattered. Maybe it was because a responsible citizen or perhaps he was an angel that God had sent to help me.

I was at the hospital within 15 min. They won't let him in the room that I was being taken care of at, because he was not family; stupid rule to be honest.

He pulled out my phone and called my mom and brother to get to the hospital ASAP. My mother and brother came right when I woke up.
