"Come on Emily...!", She heard a voice assure her, "You can't stop now..!", Her wolf assured her while she panted for breath.

She was on the ground, her knees and her hands buried into the moist ground, with her head towards the ground, she huffed and puffed at the fatigue which had enveloped her body.

The moon was in it's fullest form, with the chirping of the crickets and the croaking of the frogs which weren't aligned in a rhythmic manner, the winds blew coldly in the environment, with it's pressure on the hair which caused some strands to fall on her face.

"They're coming..!", She said to herself. She turned back to hear the loud sounds of irate growling animals.

Something was after her, maybe not just one thing, but a group of fierce being which wanted the Jewel in her, the ones who wanted to have her way with her... Well..!, That would depend on if she was willing to deliver herself freely to these creatures.

But with tears flowing down her eyes, fear had creeped into her mind, telling her of things which may happen to her when and if she was being caught, showing her of her future which she had wholeheartedly believed due to the pressure she Felt

Emily, beautiful and young, being gorgeous without limits, one blessed by the moon goddess with the wisdom of three or more werewolves, had her own issues with her relationship life.

At some point in her life, she had doubted the true existence of the moon goddess and how she joined wolves to their mates, and while she knelt to the ground, she looked up to the bright moon with pain and sorrow oozing out of her, crying in such a way, if possible for her, she would open the ears of the moon goddess to listen to her pleas and woes.

But no, she felt tired and frustrated. She was in her teens, nineteen to be specific, and with the way her fellow aged she-wolves were already being mated before they clocked seventeen or eighteen, one was forced to call her cursed for not being mated at such age.

Wasn't there a word called "patience"..? Wasn't it the moon goddess who joined wolves to their respective mates..? Questions like these made her to doubt the reasoning capacities of the so called elders who were in the pack to moderate the affairs of the pack with the alpha.

But now, she was out in the woods, running from the fangs and claws of rogued wolves, the ones who needed her for their satisfaction and nothing else.

She felt worse than being trapped in a bottle, her lungs running out of oxygen while she ran for her dear life. Where was the moon goddess now she needed her guidance and protection..?

These were the evidence of the doubt which welled up in her about the existence of the moon Goddess. These were some reasons she cursed being a she-wolf, these were the reasons she hoped that she would find someone who would soothe her in these troubled days of hers.

Her parents never interfered in what they called "tradition..". She spat on the ground with the thoughts of that word. They called it tradition, she called it slavery.

A tradition which couldn't let a wolf be paired to their own mates, the ones who still give out widowed wolves and single wolves to rogued beings like these.

But now, she was done for. She was trapped. Could running be a futile act? She had no choice than to do that which seemed necessary, for the sake of her safety and her life.

"Come on Emily..", her wolf pressured the more, in it's own way, trying to stir up some motivations on her, but they all seemed to be a waste.

Couldn't she notice that she was in no way faster than the movement of theses wolves? She couldn't match up to their strength and their speed, but what could she do?

"We've got to go..", her wolf uttered out to her while she knelt on the ground. Maybe her wolf was right, she needed to leave immediately.

"I'm trying..", Emily managed to say as she struggled to get up from the moist ground. The soil was dark if she could see what it really was, and moist due to heavy downpour of rain just before the winds blew.

She had on a black dress, of course already wet with the rains which fell and with the sweat from her body.

Her legs were stomped in dirt and stagnant water, her toes blackened by the dark loamy soil.

She had taken off her high heeled shoes when the chase began, but in order to keep up for her life, she dumped them by the side, and with all certainty, she could tell that was the source which they used in tracking her.

And her hands, already filled with dirt and sweat, a strand of hair fell on her face of which she couldn't pull out of her face due to how dirty her hands really were.

What kind of life was this..? She yelled to herself when she couldn't hold back the pain and the agony which she felt.

But while she stood up from the ground, she was taken away by the some strange sounds and feeling, one which forced her to stop and listen to what she heard and felt at the same time.

The ground was vibrating, she could hear the trees falling at the far end, and with what it looked and sounded like, these rogued wolves were in their wolf form, running and chasing after her, and if given the opportunity over her, their furiousness and fierceness would send her to another world, far beyond the world of the living.

Now she had to run, there was no other way, She just had to find a safe place to hide, she just had to do something to save herself from what was to come, from what was tagged as her fate, but that which she knew was never her fate.

She stepped out of the moist ground, her feet making some disgusting sounds which gave her this form of nausea feeling, one which almost made her to puke, to throw her guts out at the level of disgust she felt.

She stepped out, and with her legs on a dry platform, she stamped her feet to the ground, trying to send off some dirt out of her legs.

"Oh no..!", She said out in a little voice. Her actions had drawn their attention, giving them a signal of where she could have been, dragging her closer to them and bringing them closer to herself.

She bent down in a hurry, holding the frontal part of her dress, she tore a part out of her black dress and held it in her hand.

She looked back and forth and began another race again, running to a place she wasn't sure if her help would come from, all she did was just running and searching for a perfect place to hide.

She had no idea what she was doing, she had no idea where she was going.

While she ran, she remembered the piece of clothing she had cut out, and with the intention of luring and deceiving these rogued wolves.

She had no idea if what she was about to do was going to be a perfect plan or not, but she remembered a statement which her father had always told her, "there's no time like the present". Now was the appropriate time to take the right action.

Remembering those words while she still ran for her dear life, she wished above all things that he was near her, ready to fight and defend her rights, but he wasn't there, she only needed to take herself far from those wolves.

They were coming in a fast pace, running and jumping over trees and large rocks just to get hold of her, and while they increased their pace, her legs were slowing off, her knees were getting weaker and she was running out of breath..

That quickly..? She still ran while she asked herself why she had to get weakened so easily, maybe because she ran for a long time, and maybe devoted her energy into crying and hoping for a reality which wasn't coming her way.

The sooner she realized that she was the one to make that reality possible, the better for her at this moment of her life.

But she thought of what to do now that her knees were all feeble and her legs were already giving up.

Hiding..! The first word which came into her mind was hiding, but then how would she be able to hide from creatures which already had good sense of smell and sight.

While she thought of all these things, she lifted up her hand, wanting to run it through her hair, but she felt something in her hand, a bit light but not giving the usual sensation her hand gave.

She brought down her hand and looked down on it, and all she saw was the part of her black dress which she tore out.

It seemed as though the stress and the fear, the pressure alone had made her to forget the real essence of the clothe which she tore out.

It dawned on her the main essence of the cloth, she was going to deceive the wolves with her scent. Smelling the material, she was convinced of what effect it would have on the wolves.

Without wasting much time, see threw it on the ground and ran towards the opposite side of the woods.

This time, running in a haste, putting all of her lost energy into running far away from where she dropped the material.

She didn't look back, she just ran. And with a fixed target which she had set in her mind, she set a virtual countdown in her head just so she could be able to make it to her said target.

She got to her spot and hid somewhere, behind a very large tree. Breathing heavily and grinning at the pain she felt, she bent her head down just to catch her breath, huffing and puffing at the expense of the rigorous race she embarked on.

While she hid she could still have a clear sight of the Wolves, wandering around the spot where they sensed her presence more. Sniffing the ground with their noses, they could perceive her even more, and slowly while they sniffed the ground, they came across a small piece of clothe, the exact one which Emily had thrown on the ground.

Gathering round the material, they all sniffed the material, enjoying the natural scent of Emily which oozed out of the clothe.

They raised their heads up to the full moon and howled loudly, each one of them realising a painful cry.

Just when she thought she was safe to run away again, she heaved a sigh as she turned her back to take to her heels again but then she stepped on a little twig whose cracking sound was loud enough to alert the wolves of her presence.

"Damn..!", She groaned and without any hesitation, she took to her heels again, not minding if the wolves had heard the sound or not

But the abrupt pause of the howling sound and then the intense start of the growling sound she heard informed her of the wolves furiously approaching her way.

No way to hide again, they found her and all she could do was to scream lightly while she ran with all her might and strength.

She knew death was inevitable, but not in this way. She had pictured a death accompanied with a fulfilled life and a great name made for herself but not what she was about to encounter

Just when all hopes were lost, she turned her back to view the gap which she gave to the ones which were after her life and it wasn't an impressive one at all, but she still had to move on.

Loosing focus on the pathway she took, she collided into something which made her to fall to the ground roughly.
