Zander took money from his wallet and handed it over to his sister. He could tell she was upset because he couldn't buy her the food she wanted. He became enraged earlier when he saw Davianna with another man. He had a lot of good ideas for what they could do if she gave him a chance, but they were never going to happen.

"You just buy the food you like out there," Zander told his sister.

"Thank you, Brother," Melissa said.

Melissa ran out of the house and into the store, and he noticed that his mother is not around. So he goes into his room and crawls into bed. He was hurt and upset to see Davianna with another man. He wouldn't be surprised if she told him up front that he didn't stand a chance with her. Zander was blinded by his admiration and affection for Davianna. He's hurt because he's hoping they'll end up together, but he's wasting his time with a b*tch. Zander heard his phone ring inside his slacks but ignored it because Davianna was calling him even though she had contacted him several times but he refused to listen to her. Is there anything else they should discuss? She was duping him. He is not the type to stay with someone toxic.

He heard someone knock on the door.

"Get out there first and we'll eat." his mother said.

Zander got off the bed and left the room. He and his mother went to the kitchen together.

"Where is Melissa?" he asked.

"She's outside at the grocery store, and she'll stay there and play with her friends," his mother explained.

"I see. I gave her money earlier because I forgot to buy food for her." Zander said.

His mother looks at him.

"Are you okay? I can see that you are absent-minded and deep in thought."

"I'm fine. I'm just tired because we've been doing a lot of work at school." Zander replied trying to raise his voice.

While Elodie was inside her office reflecting. He needs to take a leave from work to relax and have fun because he is drowning himself in the office and working too much. He kept calling Mitchelle but she didn't answer his calls. Elodie stood up carrying her sling bag and walked out of her office. She invites the girls to go to the beach to unwind. And now they will buy a swimsuit at the mall. She was already out of the company when she called Devora. And another thing is that she doesn't have a boyfriend to invite her to leave and go to different places to spend days together. Once she was secured by another person who was with her while out for a walk. A few minutes later, Devora answered the call.

"Hello, Miss?" Devora said on the other line.

"You all come here to the mall and let's go shopping," Elodie replied.

"Yes, Miss."

After Elodie got off the phone, she immediately got into the car and drove to the mall. She parked the car on the side and closed the car door. A few minutes later he was inside the mall. Looking at new things she hasn't bought yet. He saw the girls coming in so he thought of hiding so they could find her. He hid her body on a shelf of perfumes.

"Where is Miss Elodie? Maybe she's just kidding you?" Shaira asked in a loud voice.

"Lower your voice, we're at the mall. That's what she told me earlier. Maybe she's just waiting ahead." Devora answered.

"What are we going to do here? Maybe Miss Elodie will send us home because we don't have any money," said Mila.

"That's an initiative. When you say we're going to the mall, of course bring money because if we'll ask Miss Elodie. That's embarrassing." said Lucy.

Elodie wanted to laugh. So before they got into trouble, he slowly came out and approached them.

"You guys are loud," Elodie said with a laugh.

"Where are you hiding, Miss?" Lazzy asked.

"Just over there." she pointed to the shelf of perfumes.

"Do you have any money with you?" she asked.

They all shook their heads.

"How is that now? You came here but you didn't have any money?" Elodie asked while looking at their reactions.

"We left our wallet in the room," Shaira said.

"We're going to buy a swimsuit today. Because I plan to take you to the beach this weekend." Elodie said.

"It's okay, Miss. We're not going to wear a swimsuit." Devora answered.

"Why?" she asked.

"Our bodies are not as beautiful as yours. That's why we are ashamed to wear them."

"We're going to take a bath, not to beautify our body there. So if you're not comfortable wearing a swimsuit, I won't force you," she says.

"But I want to try wearing it," said Lucy.

"All right. Choose the color you want," she said and pulled them to the swimwear section.

When Zander's phone rang, he was busy checking his students' records. It was Duke calling him.

"Hello," he said.

"Let's hang out tonight," Duke said.

"No, thank you. I've got a lot of work right now." Zander replied.

"Oh, come on! Give yourself a break. By the way, Davianna and I met at the market earlier, and she wants to see and talk to you."

Zander's anguish tightens. She had no right to talk to him. There's nothing to discuss. Seeing him with another man explains everything.

"All right, so where are we going?" he asked.

"The one I mentioned earlier, the new open bar here on our place." Duke response.

"Okay."

"Great. I'll call you later." Duke said.

Then he puts the phone down and back to what he was doing so that he can finish it right away. Later, there was a knock at the door.

"Someone is looking for you, son." his mother said outside the door.

"Yes, Mother, I'm coming!" he yelled.

He hid his paperwork and put it in his drawer then left the room. He laughed when he saw Duke in the living room waiting for him.

"You should have called me. We were supposed to meet at the exit. You bothered to visit me here at home." he says.

"I'm not doing anything and I want to make sure you're going. And then we'll find a date there so we don't waste our time."

Zander raised an eyebrow.

"Whatever."
