Mitch fiddled with her phone and laid it in front of us. And he saw a picture of the woman smiling. Mitch is beautiful, but this woman is beyond attractive.

"She's beautiful, Mitch," Duke said.

And then he noticed Amara frowning.

"What's your plan, Duke?" Amara asked with a raised eyebrow.

Duke laughed.

"Sweetheart, I just want you, nothing else," Duke replied.

“But why do I feel like you want to know her?” Amara asked.

“Sweetheart, I have no plan. After all, we are relatives,” Duke said.

“Seriously? How did you become related, Duke? " Mitchelle asked.

"In her last name. Carlton. Isn't that her last name? " Duke asked.

“It is,” Mitch replied.

"Why do you know, Duke?" Zander asked.

"I read in the tabloids. She was featured there. The most wealthy businesswoman in the world,” said Duke.

Zander was keep on listening to their conversation.

"Are you sure you're related to that? Maybe you're just making up a story," Amara said.

Duke laughs.

“Why don’t you believe it, sweetheart? I'm telling the truth. My grandmother’s surname is Carlton. And then her mother looks like a British woman, " Duke replied.

"Why aren't you sure?" Amara asked.

“Maybe it's just a coincidence that they had the same surname as your grandmother's, Duke. Because Elodie is not a Filipino, she is half-American and half-British. But she only grew up here in the Philippines, " Mitchelle said.

Zander checked his watch and it was eleven o'clock at night.

"I'm going home, Duke, it's late at night," Zander said.

"You don't have anything to ride now, Zander. I'll just take you home," Duke replied.

He nodded and went out of the bar first. He leaned against Duke's car while waiting for him to come out. But two minutes later, it was nothing. He was always looking at the entrance of the bar. But it was Mitchelle he saw walking up to him. He leaned over him and spoke.

“I thought you'd already returned home?” she asked.

"I haven’t, I just ventured here outside the bar while waiting for Duke.”

“I’m sorry for my attitude towards you earlier. It is just that I’m so tired of my work,” She said.

“What is your work, by the way?” he asked.

“I’m a waitress in a coffee shop,” Mitch replied.

"Why don't you apply to the office?" he asked.

Mitchelle laughs out loud.

“Will anyone accept me? I didn't graduate from college.” She says.

“Why did you ask for a job there from your friend in the city? She will give you a job right away, " he said.

"I don't want to be embarrassed. She might think I abused her kindness. Don't expect those two to come out; they're taking advantage of their time because Amara's parents are very strict, " said Mitch.

Zander looked at Mitchelle.

"There's no point in waiting here," he said.

"Yes. Amara was my employer's daughter and owns the coffee shop where I work. So I keep my mouth shut. But my loyalty is more to Amara," Mitch said.

“Let's go. Where is your place? I don't think you have anything to ride now." said Mitch.

"Yes, it's too late to go home. We are far away from here. The fare is also about fifty pesos, " Zander replied.

"Is that so? Just come with me to the apartment where I live. It's just near here." She told him.

Zander suddenly fell silent because her suggestion didn't seem right.

“It is okay if a man just sleeps in the apartment where you live? All I know is that there are rental houses where men are not allowed to enter,” he said.

Mitch laughed at what he said.

“Not really. Because the house where the owner of the apartment lived was different, that apartment was only for boarders. There is nothing forbidden for my board mates to let their men live there, " said Mitch.

“Is that so? Maybe someone will get angry at me there,” he said.

Mitch laughs.

“Just relax. If you care about where you sleep, the room has a lot of space, and I have two beds, so you can sleep comfortably.”

He slapped his forehead. Maybe Mitch thought he was hesitant to be with her. She is the one who cares about him, but he is still choosy. He just nodded. As we were walking, we stopped at a five-story apartment.

"Is that it?" he asked.

"Yes, come on. Come in." Mitchelle said as she open the gate.

“There is no curfew here, so the boarders come in and out and they are kind, so the owner doesn't have a problem, " said Mitch.

And then we entered the front door. We found a group of men and women in the living room who seemed to be talking and having a little drink.

"Hi, everyone. It's too late at night, but all of you haven't slept yet," Mitch said to them.

“It's too late at night, but you just go home late,” said a man with curly hair.

And it looked at him. Mitch frowned.

"But we are happy with the outcome of your late appearance because you immediately saw a boyfriend and a handsome one," said a woman with long hair.

“Shut up, Maya! " Mitch's rebuke.

And everyone laughed.

"Join us first," said the man.

"Later, I'll put him to bed first. Then I will come back,” said Mitch.

Everyone grinned.

"That was new. Our beautiful snob board mate was in love." said the gray-haired woman.

Mitch didn't comment anymore, and she dragged him into her room.

“Be patient with them. This is the first time that I brought a man into the apartment, so they are surprised. " Mitch said.

"It's fine. "I don't mind dealing with someone," he replied.

Zander sat down on a chair, and he noticed Mitch was boiling water and took two cups of noodles and placed them on the table.

"This is all we'll eat since I don't have anything else to give you because I haven't been able to get to the grocery store yet," she explained.

"I'm full," he said.

"It's possible that what you ate earlier melted and you're full from the beer you drank. So your stomach should be warm," she explained.

Mitch stood up and rummaged through the cabinet before being handed pajamas and a black t-shirt.
