Chapter 1 A Fairy Tale

Ounce upon a time in a far off land there was a great and peaceful Dragon, he lived a peace full life in side a cave in an enchanted forest.

The land was lush with bright green leaves and moss covered ground with a variety of flowers poking through the under growth to add a layer of bright and vibrant colour to the other wise green land. A bright and sparkling lake cut though and allowed the sun light to shine down on to the still water. A large grass covered hill sat in the middle of the forest across from the river, the bank of the river was steep of showed of the smooth rock that lay underneath the grass.

One day a young girl was walking though the the woods and came across the cave of the Dragon.

She was young and curious, her long hair freely flowed down her back and her dress was seemingly see though. In fact it was layered clothe with the outer most layer being very thin and see though wile the inner mots layer was think and covered her gentle skin. She felt the grass between her toes as her bear feet where pressed on and raised against the wavy grass and distant dirt.

She reached the river and felt a calling coming from the cave, she reached out a hand and carried on her walk through the clear water that was unspoiled, as the ground beneath it was made of small stone pebbles. The water was so clear it was almost as if you could drink right from it, her feet stepped in and where cleansed. It was no more then a few inches deep and so did not ruin her dress, as he reached the other side she stopped out side the cave.

She wondered inside and discovered the Dragon, he was a graceful and peaceful creature, and the young girl was able to befriended him.

Looking in the to the cave the light did not reach any more then a clear meter in side the cave, she ducked her head as she peered in holding on the roof and the side of the cave entrance. As she strode of forward she felt safe, even through she was unable to see what was in front of her. Her hand was still reached out when she stopped.

What had caused her to stop was something that was obstructing her path, her hand hand landed on something that was smooth but had a much different texture and feel towards it then the stone around her. She moved slowly forward bringing her extended arm inwards, before she began to reach out around the blockage to discover what it was. As she ran her hand down and felt rushes of air on her palm she pulled back her hand.

Unlike someone who had discovered a monster and yanked it back, the young girl just let her hand ran down what blocked her way and let her hand fall back to her side. She waited for a short wile as the sound of movement of the rocks the lighting changed as the cave light up and became brighter. Soon the cave was bright enough for the young girl to see the Dragon, it s off white scaled skin and dark yellow eyes with oval pupil slits was a sit to behold all on it s own.

The girl looked up at the creature before her, it s great and mighty stature was lowered as his body lay on the ground and his head was just above the little girl.

"Hello." said the girl, looking up at the Dragon that lay before her.

"Why have you come here?" boomed the Dragon in a deep voice, rising up.

The girl just looked up at he Dragon.

"Speak dear child." he asked dipping his head.

She reached out a hand and placed in on the dragon and began to stroke his scales "I only came here because I herd a call." she replied with a gentle toned voice.

"Very well." said the Dragon as he laid his head down allowing the girl to enter "Mots people come here to gain power and wealth."

The girl sat down beside the dragon and crossed her legs. "I only came to find a place to be with nature."

"Then your are welcome here." said the Dragon and laid his head back down.

The two sat not in silence, but in deep conversation.

The girl would come to see the dragon everyday, but one day the girl did not arrive, and so the Dragon left to find her.

Day after day the young girl came to see the friendly Dragon, everyday the two would share deep conversation and share their love of nature and make deep bounds with each other. She would arrive at around the same time and often brought items to share with the Dragon. So when she did not arrive the Dragon grew worried and set out to find her.

As he began to depart the cave his body began to morph and change, it s ounce large body shrivelled down, his wings folded in in his sides and his proportions shifted and evened out to that of a human. The last thing to change was his physical form with bones cracking and joints bending he emerged from the cave as an average looking adult male.

His scaly skin began been turned to a pale white flesh, his head was topped with a mane of pale white spiked slicked back hair, all concealed in smart bright white clothes to cover his bear body.

As he set out to find her, he discovered that she was now a Queen and had now grown up and was sitting on the throne.

The Dragon had left his wholesome valley of nature and ventured far beyond the barrier of the woodland forest. The greenery was far darker outside the safety of the forest, as the tall wavy grass and tall pine trees built the barrier to the forest the vast rocky mountains and large Castle where at the far end. The Dragon set of towards the kingdom in search of his young friend.

The Throne room was made of vast large stone bricks and the two thrones themselves sat perched high with steps leading up towards them. The large arch ways and stone pillars added to the aesthetic of the throne room, which had many decorations added to walls to brake up the brick. The Dragon walked in and saw his good friend on the throne, her clothes had vastly changed and now where more high class in design and colour.

He bowed before the Queen and the Queen looked at him and saw the eyes of the dragon and knew it was him.

He leant forward in bow out of respect for her as a Queen and close friend, ounce he looked up his eyes shimmered and she looked to see the eyes of the Dragon in the man. It was then that she saw that it was him that had come to see her. To the Dragon it had mere days wile for her it had been years since she had went to see him for the last time.

It was much later that the Queen came to see the Dragon and apologised as for she may not be able to see him any more.

She walked up the cave, which she had not seen for so long it was like stepping back in time to see it. She strode over the stream her feet now coated in shoes and her dress waded in the water as it came down to reach the river bed, but was caught by the water and floated on it s service. As she entered the cave she saw him smiling at her. For herself it had been years as for the Dragon it seemed like only a day had passed, as she laid her eyes on him over and over again she could only see him as majestic creature he was on that first day. But she had arrived with sorrow news and it was time to speak, but try she might she found she was unable to find the words.

"Why have you come back?" asked the Dragon.

"I cam to apologise." she sighed.

"Why?"

"As I will not be able to see you again." she sobbed as tears began to roll done her face. "As my role as Queen asks more off me."

The Dragon ever kind and gentle understood and for all the kindness she had shown him, he will one day return in her time of need.

The news came as a grave but the Dragon was far grater and understood, his wisdom far beyond his own years.

"I understand dear girl," he said "You have my humble thanks for the time you have spent with me, and I wish you well."

The Queen was humbled but still quite sad over everything.

"In return for, I will come to you in your most desperate hour and on that day I shall great you what ever it is you wish." said the Dragon.

The Queen thanked her dear friend and returned to her duty as Queen, and wile her time on the throne was long for the Dragon it was no more then one day for his time to return already came.

Time passed by and the King died with out seeding an air to the throne and the Dragon arrived before the Queen ounce more.

For the many days the Queen sat on the throne she was ever faithful towards her loving husband, and in return he asked nothing of her. The strain for a royal child became more painful as the courts demanded a child to take the throne, this only got worse after the King was killed in a crusade. The Queen was left to rule and became panicked as when the news arrived of her husbands passing as she was still not pregnant, meaning she was to be replaced and some else would take to the throne.

The Queen was pacing in her chambers, when the sound called to her, she perked her head and knew what it was, following it s hypnotic beats she was lead down deep in the bowls of the castle. She soon found her self deep in dungeon, she looked inside one of the cells and noticed one had someone inside.

"I have arrived as promised." said Dragon.

He was sitting on beach in the cell on the back wall, sitting up right with bent legs up towards his chest, with his tail slipping to the floor. His human form never aged, wile the Queen had become much older and the age began to show as he features had started to fade.

The Dragon gifted her a child in whom who shall be born on noble blood and so one day may sit the throne.

The Dragon got his his feet and in cloud of steam ended up at the bars holding his strong grip on them as his head pocked though the gap.

"I, I." she stuttered. "I need to be with child."

"Hmm." thought the Dragon. "Even with my magic, this will require a more physical presence in the matter."

"What ever it takes." she said getting ready for what ever would come next.

The Dragon waved his hand the and cell door opened, the Queen stepped back in shock then was forced on to the stool up against the wall. He ran his hands over her and lifted up her dress, the Queen caught on was unable to move as the Dragon began to use his tail to pull down her undergarments. Looking down she saw that his genitals where not human but scaled like that of a dragon, as he thrust forward to enter her body a sudden rush came over her.

The Queen felt the Dragons power and strength flow though her as he proceed to conceive the child, with every thrust that went in to motion a bright light dimmed and with every retraction it bloomed ever brighter. With one last throw up against the wall the light burst out in a ball of light and the Queen felt a feeling no human could ever find in life or death. Ounce the light was gone and feeling faded, she found her self on the stool sitting in a pool of blue sticky clear liquid that seemed to have something else mixed in as there was small particles with in the liquid. Feeling tired she retired and as she looked back as to wonder about the stool, but it was clear. And the very next day she woke to find her belly had grown in size.

But the Dragons was not finished and after the child was born returned and warned her that he would return for a child in her bloodline one day in the future.

The days passed and the bump soon was gone as an egg was squeezed out and from the egg hatched a child a week later, she looked like her mother and was born with noble blood to one day take the throne. But after the child had been born and Queen carried on her rule, is was them the Dragon came to visit her in the throne room. He bowed down to her ounce again, the Queen was more reluctant with her infant child in her arms.

"Don t worry the child, will grow up normally." said the Dragon.

The Queen was unsure "Why have you come back?"

"I gifted you a child of both noble blood who is not a Dragon-born." he said "Yes." said the Queen holding her deer child strongly.

"I have to warn you, your child is a full human and will not suffer the fate of a Dragon-born." he explained "But one day a child of your blood line will be born a Dragon-born and on that day I will return for the child."

The Queen was worried, but in cloud of steam the Dragon was gone. She lived in fear to the end of days waiting for her child to be taken away, and passed this on to her child, who passed it on to her own grand children.
