Chapter 10 Hopefully We Can All Survive

"Kasha, it's time for us to go." Adri ignored Sam and just said to me with a cold face.

I hurried to Adri's side and followed him toward the door, but Sam, standing still, still sent chills down my back.

I could also feel Adri's anger. I thought he was angry because he didn't see me waiting for him and ran into the garden alone?

Sitting in the car, Adri didn't talk to me, just looking at the other side of the window.

Takri and Tina also came out, looking as if they had something on their minds.

Tina didn't walk toward Takri's car, but walked up to me.

"Kasha, although your coming-of-age ceremony has passed, we will wait for you to come back and celebrate for you."

Tina stroked my head and said gently.

"I'll definitely go back, but I'd still prefer that day to be a weekend."

Because at other times, Adri shouldn't have let me go back for another coming-of-age ceremony.

"We can also wait until the weekend to celebrate for you, Kasha, and we...love you very much."

Tina said with a smile, gesturing for me to get in the car.

"I love you too, Mom."

I responded to her, but I always felt uneasy inside, like something big was about to happen.

Sitting in the car, Adri was also silent all the way.

Everyone seemed to be carrying something on their mind, but no one said anything, only silence haunting us.

It wasn't until we got back to the villa that the limo pulled up outside the gate.

"Come with me to the study." Adri said to me.

I hurried to follow, wondering what he would say.

"We just received word that Kendall has close ties with those rouges behind their backs, and may even have allied with them." Adri said, with what seemed to be an apologetic look in his eyes.

Why did he look so sorry? A twinge of unease welled up in my heart.

"Our plan is to make a surprise attack on the rouges' gathering point in a week's time, with Takri and a few other wolves attacking first." Adri said, apologizing to me more deeply.

I looked at Adri and repeatedly made sure he wasn't joking with me.

Although it was something the wolves who agreed to the alliance were destined to do, the dangers involved were simply not known, especially since among Takri's pack there was my mother.

"Why? Didn't you guys say that it would be fine to just expel those rouge from their territory? Why does it suddenly become about killing them now?"

I couldn't understand why they changed their plans.

"Kendall has defected, we don't have time to hesitate anymore." Adri said in a deep voice.

I'd already lost my father, and I didn't want to lose my mother again.

"I promise you that we will keep your family as safe as possible." Adri said with a sigh.

I didn't know how to answer his words, just silent.

Outside the entrance to the party, Tina made me feel uneasy, supposedly because they already knew about Adri's plan and had made their own plans.

"Thanks." I was silent for a long time before I answered Adri. But all I had in my heart was worries for my family.

"You can go home anytime from now until the end of the battle." Adri said to me, but I didn't want to go back.

I also hoped that Takri could be able to protect Tina.

At night, I lay in the soft bed, but could not sleep, my mind was all about that home.

"Kasha, I can feel that you are sad, but everything will be fine." Bella was also gently comforting me, trying to cheer me up.

"I'm fine, I'm just a little worried, it's the first time I've been away from home for so long."

I didn't know how long it took before I fell asleep.

In the morning, I prepared breakfast for Adri as I had done before.

When I walked to Adri's room, I was surprised to find Senge there, and they frowned at the same time the moment they saw me.

I froze in place, glancing at the breakfast I was holding in my hand, wondering what I had done wrong again.

"Kasha, we just got a distress call from the Dusk Moon Pack." Adri said to me.

"What's happening?" My heart immediately tensed up, my previous intuition was right.

"A group of rouge attacked the wolves in Takri's pack, and there are already warriors from other packs rushing over to support them, so hopefully it's not too late. When the people here are assembled, they will also rush over there immediately." Adri said seriously.

"I'm going too." My hands and voice trembled.

"Okay, but no matter what, you can't get involved in the fight." Adri gave me a deep look and said to me, not allowing me to refuse.

Five minutes later, Adri took me by car in the direction of Takri's house.

Behind our car, followed by dozens of werewolf warriors.

I still wished the car could go a little faster.

That home I knew so well was not far away when I saw a fire and the smell of blood in the air.

A little closer, the smell of blood had become heavier and heavier, and even I could hear the roar of the werewolves.

When I saw the house, it was already surrounded by fire and surrounded by werewolves. There were Takri's men and people I had never seen before, those would be the rouge.

The car pulled up next to a wooded area and I was about to get out when Adri stopped me.

"Just stay in the car and wait until I get this place sorted out before you get out." Adri said.

Without waiting for my answer, he had already led the other wolves in the direction of the rouges and rushed forward.

All of them turned into wolves as they approached that house.

I sat in the car with my eyes on the werewolves who were fighting, hoping to find Tina.

A little farther from the house, I saw Tina and Takri, who were surrounded by several werewolves. They were covered in blood, but still didn't flinch.

Adri didn't spot them, but was fighting the other rouges.

I pulled open the car door and got out, took my jacket off and put it on the car.

"Kasha, you better not do that, you don't have the strength to be able to fight yet." Bella tried to stop me.

"But that's my mother, and I can't let her leave me again, too." I replied firmly, even though I knew I wasn't strong enough.

"You'll probably get hurt and even die from it, aren't you scared?" Bella asked in my head.

"That's better than doing nothing." I replied.

My body began to shift, my limbs sprouting sharp wolf claws and fangs peeking out of my wolf mouth. This time it didn't make me feel the intense pain I felt when I first transformed, just a burning sensation of my blood boiling.

I completed the shift quickly.

"Kasha, hopefully we'll all survive." Bella said to me.

"Definitely."

I ran wildly in Tina's direction so I could try to fight to protect my family, just as my father did.
