Chapter 9 Provoking Him

"I hope we can all form an alliance to fight the rouges together and drive them back to where they should be, without threatening any wolves." Misius said solemnly.

The expression on Kendall's face began to grow grave and he did not speak again.

"We are willing to make an alliance, the rouge really shouldn't be in the territory of other wolves, especially since they are also extremely aggressive, which is a threat to other wolves." Senge's father, Ollis, said.

Several Alpha's immediately gave an affirmative answer, and others agreed.

But Kendall was slow to respond.

"Kendall, do you have any concerns?" Misius asked Kendall, who could also see Kendall's hesitation.

"I'm just worried that if we form an alliance, it will stimulate those rouges to attack us even more frantically. As you know, not all wolves are as strong as you are." Kendall replied.

The alliance formed by the rouge was different from other wolf packs in that they had a very simple hierarchy, with only managers and the managed. They all carried very strong hostility, even hatred, towards other wolf packs. Although their number was small, they were very capable in combat, and for wolves like the one led by Takri, it was a great threat.

Even if they could call for help, the other wolves could not come to support them immediately.

"Regarding this, you can rest assured, after forming an alliance, we will set up garrison points in places frequently attacked by rouge and send people to guard there to ensure everyone's safety." Misius's answer made those present feel much more at ease at once.

"Well then, I'll join the alliance, so what do we do next?" Kendall still agreed to Misius' proposal.

"Start the attack toward the place where the rouge is gathered the most, and the other small part of the rouge, the adjacent wolves will cooperate to expel them from the territory." Misius said.

The latter meeting was probably about the various chiefs to discuss what tactics should be used, which made me completely incomprehensible.

It took almost two hours for the meeting to end.

And I had been standing next to Adri and my legs were starting to ache.

Adri and his father wanted to talk to Gamma alone, and I took the opportunity to go to Tina.

"Kasha, you are so beautiful today."

Tina saw me walk over and immediately smiled at me, reaching out and hugging me.

"I have to say, today is the most beautiful look we've ever seen you, and it's a shame it's not your coming-of-age ceremony, otherwise, there would be a lot of people in love with you." Takri also smiled and complimented me.

"Thanks, this is from Mr. Adri, I missed you guys." I said with a smile, and it was true.

I would prefer to stay at home with Tina than Adri's villa, which was not as luxurious as Adri's, but at least not as aggravating.

"We miss you so much too, how are you doing there?" Tina asked, looking at me with nothing but tenderness in her eyes.

"Not bad, otherwise he wouldn't have brought me to the meeting would he?" I said, not wanting Tina to know that I wasn't having a good time there. Complaints didn't help at all except to make Tina sad.

It didn't take long for Adri and his son to end the conversation.

They needed to finalize the final plan with the others, and Adri didn't let me stay with him.

I walked outside alone to take another look at the garden.

"Kasha, do you like roses a lot?" Bella asked in her head.

"Sort of, but I just want to know where the garden is that my father used to plant, but probably I'll never see." I replied with a bitter smile.

He has always been the strongest and most gentle Alpha in my heart.

"How about we quietly pick one away?" Bella goaded me.

"No, I'll be dead if I'm found out." I didn't want to be embarrassed here.

"Do you like the garden here, too?" A man's voice came from beside him.

I looked back and saw that it was Sam, the son of one of the chiefs of the Ansett family.

He had short and slightly messy dark brown hair and light blond eyes, but his smile seemed flirtatious.

"I'm just hanging out here." I instinctively kept my distance from him, as his gaze really made me feel uncomfortable.

"Are you afraid of me? You're pretty looking, did you find your mate?" Sam asked as he walked towards me.

"I...I haven't had my coming-of-age ceremony yet." My heart was filled with nervousness and fear, but Sam didn't stop.

"Kasha, I think you should run away to Adri now, this man looks full of evil." Bella also looked nervous.

"That's wonderful, I don't have a mate yet either. If you can be my mate, I must be the happiest person in this world, will you be willing to be my mate?"

Sam approached me step by step, and I stepped back in increasing panic. He reached out to touch my face, and I hurriedly and subconsciously avoided it.

"I am now Mr. Alpha Adri's personal maid, I only obey his orders, I'm sorry, I should leave now."

I tried to look calm, but my heart was already in a panic.

"So you're his maid, that's okay, as long as you're with me, it doesn't matter so much if you're a mate or not."

Sam said he was going to take my arm.

"Mr. Sam, I really should leave, or Mr. Adri will be angry."

My wrist was grabbed by Sam, his hand gripping my wrist so tightly that I cringed in pain, but couldn't break free.

"Don't be in a hurry to leave, I promise, you'll like me." Sam said as he moved closer to me.

I hurriedly took two steps back, even though my hand was still in his grip and pain was constantly coming from it.

"Mr. Sam, if you don't let go of me, I'm going to draw the others here." I said to him with obvious anger.

"Lure the others inside and tell them how you seduced me?" Sam smiled smugly, not at all afraid.

"You..."

The anger in my heart was burning, how could he say such shameless words?

"Don't you forget, you're just a maid and I'm the owner here, what else would anyone think but that you're trying to seduce me?" Sam gave an evil smile.

"What the hell do you want?" I questioned with a cold face.

He just smiled and didn't answer my question, but the next moment his other hand came up to touch my face.

At that point, I just wanted someone to help me, just anyone.

"Sam, if you don't let go of my hand, I will immediately announce to everyone that you have openly provoked me." Adri's voice suddenly came, and I suddenly felt like I saw hope.

Sam smiled and let me go, turning to look at Adri.

"How is that a provocation? I just happened to run into your maid here."

Sam's evil smile and gaze sent a shiver down my spine.
