Chapter 12 Anesthesiologist
The smell of blood spread throughout the room and my consciousness was becoming blurred.
But I didn't feel any pain, I even felt a little happy.
At least I could do something for him.
"Oh my God! Jennie...what have I done..."
Before I completely lost consciousness, I heard Klopp's voice.
"Sir, have you recovered?"
I struggled to open my eyes, and Klopp's eyes were still dark red.
It took a while for a vampire to return to its normal state after sucking blood.
Klopp picked me up, opened the window, and flew out with me.
"Anna would be envious of me..."
I leaned into Klopp's arms and smiled.
Finally, Klopp led me to land on the roof of a hospital, where he then stood on the windowsill of a doctor's office.
"Oh my god...finished..."
The doctor, a middle-aged man, was obviously terrified and backed into a corner.
"Look, I'm not going to hurt you, but I need you to save her! I'll pay you ten times the cost!"
Klopp said as he stood in front of him with me in his arms.
"She was bitten, wasn't she?"
The doctor took one look at it and asked in horror.
"Yes."
Klopp placed me in the office chair and retreated with his bat wings tucked away.
"She's lost a lot of blood, you need to take her to get her wounds treated and then a blood transfusion."
The doctor looked at him and said.
"She has a rare T-N2 blood type, you just have to find the same blood as her to give her a transfusion, it's not that much trouble!"
"No, sir, I can't do that."
"If you don't hurry up and give her a blood transfusion, she'll die, do you understand? That's what you have to do as a doctor!"
"Sir, calm down and listen to me..."
"Now! Give her a blood transfusion!"
I leaned weakly back in my chair as Klopp and the doctor argued fiercely.
Klopp was clearly pissed off and once again showed a pair of bat wings.
"Sir, please forgive my rudeness, but...I'm just an anesthesiologist!"
The doctor was so frightened that he fell to his knees crying and explaining.
"Anesthesia...is a good option, do you have any more anesthetics?"
Klopp asked again.
"Yes."
The doctor nodded.
Klopp held out his hand to him. The doctor looked at Klopp, not daring to resist in the presence of a vampire.
The doctor took an anesthetic and handed it to Klopp, but Klopp was not satisfied and frowned.
One, two...
"That's all there is."
The doctor cried and gave the entire anesthetic to Klopp.
Then, Klopp took out a few gold coins and gave them to him.
"It's an advance, you can get more if you cure her."
Klopp said.
The doctor took the gold coin and rushed out.
Shortly after, a group of doctors poured into the office and carried me to the emergency room.
By the time I woke up, I was lying in a hospital bed.
Klopp, on the other hand, was looking at me with satisfaction as Ike, wearing a mask, was handing out gold coins.
Next to them was a large chest filled with gold coins.
"Oh, you're awake! This Mr. Vampire is so generous."
A female doctor put the gold coins away and walked over to me, smiling while examining my body.
"Sir, my name is Wilson, let me know if you have any orders in the future."
The anesthesiologist stood in front of Klopp and bowed, very politely.
"I am Count Klopp, the ruler of this city, and of course, you saved Jenny, and in return, I ll give you this as a gift."
Klopp extended his hand to him and Wilson froze.
He had a golden rose medal in his palm, for which I had only heard from Wells.
If someone could get this medal, it also meant that he had the approval of the vampire, and other vampires couldn t harm the human who holds the medal.
Even low-level vampires would obey human orders because of this medal.
When Wilson received the medal, the back of the medal would automatically record his name, no matter who could not take away the medal.
After the gold coins were divided and the doctors left, Wilson was so happy he almost jumped up and down.
At least he could go out at night and encounter vampires not only without fear, but perhaps invite them to share a glass of whiskey.
Only Klopp and I were left in the ward, and Ike left with the empty case.
"Sir, I'm sorry."
I apologized to Klopp.
"Is it because you lied to me?"
Klopp asked, sitting next to the hospital bed, not meaning to get angry.
"Yes."
I replied, Mireya and I are not the same, she is the daughter of the Duke, and when Klopp is not at the manor, she can come and take my little life at any time.
I could tell that Mireya was fond of Klopp, so she didn't like Klopp getting close to anyone else, even if I was just his pet.
"You're right to do that, if you anger her, she'll find a way to kill you, as she always does."
Klopp said, just rubbing my head.
The sun was shining through the window and it was warm on me.
Although Klopp was not afraid of the sun, he didn t like the feeling of having the sun shining on him either.
"Jenny, I want to exchange a secret with you."
Klopp said.
I was surprised, exchanging secrets?
"What's the secret?"
I didn't understand what he was referring to.
"For example, your experience."
Klopp replied. I don't really know why he would be interested in this.
But he was my master, I must answer his questions,.
I told Klopp everything about my experiences growing up and being taken by Wells and him killing my family.
"You have nightmares because you've lost your family, right?"
Klopp inquired, and I nodded.
Every nightmare I had, it was my family I saw.
"Sir, why did you buy me out?"
I asked something I had never been able to understand.
"Because if no one helped you, you would soon die from an infected wound, and of all those humans, you were the only one who was hurt the most, so I wanted to save you, even though I didn't understand that, as humans, you were supposed to get along well."
Klopp said, shaking his head.
Although vampires had a strict hierarchy, they did not suck the blood of their own kind, and they did not abuse their own kind, except for holy fire, which was the harshest punishment.
"Because of the benefits, they will sell us to vampires as slaves or pets, and the vampires will give them gold coins, or other benefits."
I said helplessly, and no one could change that.
Even without vampires, they would do things to harm their own kind because of other interests.
"Jenny, I may not be able to understand human feelings for each other right now, but I don't want to hurt you, even just a little."
Klopp said with an apology.
"I've learned more of the Blood language than you think, like the one I said to you last night."
I replied.
"What? What did you do last night?"
Klopp was much shocked, perhaps thinking that he had bitten me last night because he had lost his mind, but the reality was not as he thought.
