Chapter 13 I can do whatever I want

"It is recorded in the books of the Bloods that for a consecration made on a voluntary basis, it is bound to succeed provided that the party receiving the consecration is equally in need."

I read the passage out.

Klopp looked at me with widened eyes.

Yes, in that case, even if Klopp restrained himself, that blood spell would still make him suck my blood.

"I'm beginning to regret letting you learn the Blood language."

Klopp said with loss.

"Ike also said that my blood will bring you back to your senses and will make you more powerful, and that it is for the best that I am still alive now."

I didn t understand, wouldn't it be good for him to get through the killing night safely?

"Jenny, I won't bite you again, ever."

Klopp reached out and put his arms around me, saying firmly.

"Are you going to deport me?"

I asked calmly, it was his right to do so, perhaps he would consider it an affront to him that I used the Blood language without his permission.

"No, Jenny, I will never banish you, I just don't want to hurt you anymore, and you have to promise me that you will never use that spell again on the next killing night, okay?"

Klopp said as he hugged me.

"OK."

I promised him.

Klopp flashed a smile and looked at me with his emerald green eyes.

My heart seemed to be beating faster and faster.

His face also came closer and closer to mine until his lips touched mine.

And this time, his body was actually warm.

I slowly closed my eyes and reached out to hug him, his body temperature seemed to be rising.

"No, Jennie...I...am sorry, I shouldn't have been like that earlier."

Klopp looked back at me with a guilty look on his face, not knowing what to do.

I didn't answer and lay quietly on the bed.

In fact, I didn't know why I would kiss a vampire and enjoy that feeling.

I didn't know if Klopp liked me or if it's some kind of impulse on his part.

"Jenny, I'll pick you up this afternoon, so you get some rest."

Klopp left the ward after that, and I could see that he seemed nervous.

It didn't take long for Wilson to walk into the room.

"Jenny, you're a vampire's pet too, right?"

Wilson came up to me and whispered an inquiry.

"Yes, the one who sent me to the hospital is my master."

I answered truthfully.

"Well, while I admit that he seems to like you, I have to say that as a vampire's pet, once you reach twenty-one, he will immediately suck all your blood and you will die because you are just a pet."

Wilson spoke seriously.

I certainly understood this, but in my opinion, death was not that scary.

At least Klopp made me live more like a human being.

Leaving Klopp, I would meet other slave traders who would probably abuse me even more brutally than Wells.

I'd rather have Klopp kill me than live like that.

"Wilson, thank you for your kindness, but everyone has their own choice, the Lord Count is a kind master, he did bite me out of some special reason, before that, he did not bite me or abuse me."

I smiled and explained, even though I hadn't completely recovered from those whip marks on my body.

"But how did you get all those bruises on your body?"

Wilson asked in a puzzle.

"It was beaten by a slave trader."

I told the truth and I don't want him to misunderstand Klopp as a bad person because of it.

"Oh My God, well, since you say so, I have nothing more to say, perhaps that Count gentleman, can give you a better life than the human world."

Wilson sighed as the status quo of the human world was something difficult he was equally unable to change.

Klopp had declared that vampires could not attack protected humans, as well as doctors and nurses.

Wilson urged me to get some rest, after which he left.

After lunch, I lay down on the hospital bed and slept, and when I woke up, Klopp didn't show up.

After asking the doctor, I learned that he hadn't come to the hospital yet.

I, on the other hand, had slept for less than two hours.

I sat in front of the window and looked out in a daze. Although all the buildings were still the same, the whole world, though, was no longer the same.

The streets, too, were almost invisible to people, only vampires wearing various masks and cloaks.

There were as well as pets and slaves bought by vampires.

It was like they knew what was going to happen to them and didn't struggle or scream in defiance, only obedience to the vampire.

It's like the moment when I just met Klopp.

"Jenny."

Klopp's voice came from behind me and I was taken aback.

"I'm sorry to scare you, I've asked Wilson and he said you can leave."

Klopp came over, took my hand and walked out the door, looking in a good mood.

Before leaving the hospital, Wilson gave the medal a fierce kiss and told Klopp he would always love him.

Klopp pulled me into the car and left the hospital.

I remembered what happened in the hospital in the morning and turned my head to look out the car window, not daring to look at him.

Klopp reached over and hugged me, saying nothing.

When we arrived at the manor, Klopp led me out of the car.

What I didn't expect was for Mireya to be there, and to have an ugly man beside her, glaring at me with a face full of anger.

"Klopp, how were you last night?"

Mireya asked as she walked up to Klopp.

"I'm fine."

Klopp replied calmly.

"Your little pet looks a little weak because you drew her blood?"

Mireya asked, giving me a look.

"Yes."

Klopp replied again that he didn't seem to like Mireya, and even made me think he hated her a little.

"Well, she didn't die from it, she's really resilient, even I'm a little interested in her."

Mireya said with a smile, but her smile made me feel scared.

"Mireya, you released him from the holy pool?"

Klopp asked, looking at the ugly man next to her.

"Yes, after all, he's your brother, Klopp, and you have absolutely no need to punish him for a pet, even if he doesn't have a Count identity like you."

Mireya said.

Was the man actually Phil?

I couldn't believe what I saw, but Mireya said Phil was being punished because of me?

"She is my pet, then everything about her is up to me, and Phil tried to suck her blood, and such behavior is an offense to me, that's why I punished him."

Klopp said with a look at Phil, taking my hand into the manor.

"Klopp, you should know that as a Count, you shouldn't be holding the hand of a human pet."

Mireya's voice came through, filled with anger.

"I can do whatever I want in my manor."

Klopp pulled me along and left without a backward glance.

I could feel the burning eyes behind me, and Mireya would have killed me in every way possible.
