Chapter 14 No one can make decisions for me
Back in my room, Klopp picked me up and put me on the bed, covering me with a blanket.
"Get a good sleep and come back when I'm done."
Klopp said as gently as before.
Before I could answer, I saw Mireya who suddenly appeared in the doorway of the room.
"Klopp, so you really let a pet sleep on the bed, you know, a pet doesn't have that right, she can only be, chained up in the cage."
Mireya said angrily, pointing at me.
"Mireya, if you came to me just to talk to me about this, I won't do as you say. Although she is just a pet, it is up to her owner to decide how to treat her."
Klopp was also a bit angry.
"What if it was my father who wanted you to do the same?"
Mireya walked up to Klopp and questioned.
"He can cut my knighthood, but he can't decide how I want to treat my pets!"
Klopp said angrily, as if he was completely enraged.
"Klopp, I came here today not only so I could come and see you, but to talk to you about what my father would like to talk to you about, our marriage."
Miriya calmed herself and gently addressed Klopp.
I froze.
Were they about to get married?
That would also mean that Mireya would become my mistress.
She would definitely kill me.
"I'm sorry, Mireya, this is something I need to think about."
Klopp also calmed down.
"In a week's time, I expect you to give me an answer."
Mireya said, gave me a look and left the room.
A week later, were they going to get married?
Klopp turned and walked over to me, sat next to me, and was silent for a long time.
"Do you want me to marry Mireya?"
Klopp asked gently.
"Sir, I am your pet, I can't decide who your wife to be married to is."
I answered with my head down, even though I didn't want that person to be Mireya.
"Jenny, Mireya and I are not from the same species, and even my family and Duke Taz's species are hostile."
Klopp replied.
"What?"
I was shocked again, more so than when Mireya talked about them getting married.
"This matter is my secret, even Ike doesn't know about it, and although my title is conferred on the Duke Taz's breed, I am not like them."
Klopp said, but he was not afraid that Duke Taz knew about it.
"Sir, what if I don't want you and Mireya to get married?"
I looked to Klopp and asked.
"Well done Jenny, I always wanted you to learn to say no, and you did, and, I loved your answer."
Klopp laughed out loud, even though he looked completely unrelated to a gentleman at this point.
I didn't know if it was because Klopp was in a good mood or because of something else.
Dinner was extraordinarily generous, and Phil was back to his previous appearance.
When I met him in the hall, his pet was even weaker than I had seen him before.
Perhaps because he hadn't drawn blood for days and saw his pet again and drew more blood.
"Klopp, I know you and Mireya are getting married soon, I don't mean anything else, I just hope that on your wedding day, you can give me a few pets."
Phil broke the silence and said to Klopp.
"I'm not going to marry her."
Klopp replied calmly as he dined.
"What? Mireya is the daughter of a distinguished Duke, marry her, you can get the support of Duke Taz, have endless wealth and glory. But you won't marry her, are you crazy?"
Phil shouted out in surprise.
"Phil, I can accept you as a brother because your mother is of my people, but remember, no one can make decisions for me about who I'm with."
Klopp's expression got serious.
It seemed that whenever something related to Mireya was mentioned, Klopp would get angry.
"Well, I won't say anything."
Phil lowered his head and continued to eat.
"I don't like this food. Jenny, you are responsible for eating them."
Klopp moved the plate in front of him to me, which contained a steak that he had only cut a small piece of and was cooked.
I looked at him and then at the food I hadn't finished eating and took it anyway.
Compared to the last steak, this one was perfect in both taste and cooking style.
But he actually did not like it.
The vampire's recipe was really very single.
I was eating when I suddenly saw the woman sitting in the corner, her eyes seemed to be begging me to give her some food.
But she's Phil's pet, and I wouldn't dare do that.
"Jennie, Phil and I need to talk alone for about an hour, you go stay outside and I'll allow you to take some of the food out."
Klopp said to me.
I grabbed a little food, got up and headed out.
As I walked out of the hall, Phil dragged the woman by the chain around her neck and threw her out of the hall.
The woman fell to the ground, she was too weak to make a sound, only lying on the ground and looking helplessly at Phil.
I hid aside, but my body trembled uncontrollably, Phil was the only person I feared on the manor.
"Jenny, sooner or later you will fall into my hands."
Phil said with hatred for me in his eyes.
When he returned to the hall and the door was closed, I tried to approach the woman lying on the floor.
"Hey, are you okay?"
I asked in a whisper. The woman s face was pale and looked like a living dead.
She looked at me warily, unable to speak.
"Would you like something to eat?"
I asked, holding my plate out to her.
She nodded slowly, but she didn't even have the strength to sit up.
I helped her up and fed her with a plate of cut fruit into her mouth.
"Thanks."
She needed to take a big breath to even speak.
After eating some food, she regained a little strength and began to grab the food on her plate and eat frantically.
"Wait for me here, I know where there is more food."
I patted her on the shoulder and ran as fast as I could back to my room, where there was still some of the food I hadn't finished.
For people who are hungry to the extreme, as long as it is food, regardless of whether it is good or not, it is good to fill the stomach.
"I'm Erin, and you?"
She said to me as she ate her food.
"Jenny, my name."
I replied with a smile.
"You are the Lord Count's pet, right? But you have no chains and no scars, the Lord Count must be very good to you."
Erin looked at me with great envy as she said these words.
"Yes, he was good to me, even, better than the humans were to me."
I said as I crouched down beside Erin.
"You're lucky."
Erin said.
I didn t deny this.
But before I had a chance to answer Erin, Ike was already walking toward us.
I panicked and hid the food behind me.
