Chapter 5 Your blood is the most delicious
I nodded and turned around to go back to my room.
I didn't know exactly what he was talking about in terms of something else, but I didn't know how to ask.
I had to say, those fruits were really delicious and fresh.
All were served on delicate plates with roses on them as well.
Klopp was sitting right next to me, looking at me with a smile on his face.
"Would you like some, sir?"
I picked up a grape and carefully reached over.
The next second, I regretted it.
Vampires did suck blood and eat meat, and I had never heard of them eating fruit as well.
"OK."
Instead of refusing, Klopp smiled and took the grape from my hand and put them in his mouth.
Vampires would actually eat fruit!
If I told anyone else, they'd laugh at me for being crazy!
Klopp got up and walked out.
After a long time, he came back, with a few more medicine bottles in his hand, as well as gauze and bandages.
After I finished the bread, I couldn't eat the rest of the fruit anymore.
"It's time to change the medicine."
Klopp pointed to the bottle of medicine next to him and said, gesturing for me to sit over.
With the previous incident of him treating my wounds, I was not so afraid and obediently sat in front of him.
"I guess, you would think I'm a doctor?"
Klopp took the gauze off the wound, joking with me as he did so.
"No?"
I was puzzled, his movements all seemed quite skilled, and if it wasn't the doctor, I couldn't think of any other reason.
"I learned these from the books that describe how humans are to treat wounds if they are injured."
Klopp was obviously a little proud when he said this.
"Sir is very smart."
I smiled and complimented him.
"The way you smile is really beautiful. Well, the wound is recovering well, it will heal in a short while, but in the meantime, you must not scratch it anyway, remember what I said?"
Klopp enjoined me as he was coaxing a small child.
"Hmm."
I nodded seriously, convincing him that I would not catch it.
"It's getting late, I should go, if there's anything I need, Ike knows what to do."
Klopp glanced at the time on his wristwatch, barked a few words and left in a hurry, taking the vials of medicine and gauze with him.
I sat on the bed for a while. My body had recovered a lot and some of the new wounds had started to scab over.
But those wounds that were a bit festering before, recovered a bit slower, but in a good way the pain was much less.
A breeze blew through the window, carrying a faint scent of flowers.
I remembered the sea of flowers I saw last night and wondered what it would be like to see it during the day.
Getting dressed, I wanted to go back and check it out.
"Jenny, good morning."
The sudden appearance of Ike in the doorway made me take two steps backward in fear, even though I knew that he wasn't going to hurt me.
"Good morning."
I cowered in response, staring at him warily.
"Jenny, you are really more fragile than I thought, I will not hurt you, just come to give you shoes, this is the Lord Count before leaving explained that I sent, you will like it."
Ike said sincerely.
Only then did I notice that he was holding a box.
When he opened the box, inside was a pair of delicate blue leather shoes with a not-so-high heel.
"the Lord Count says you can't wear high heels yet, and this will make your feet more comfortable when you walk."
Ike handed the box to me with a smile.
I looked down and saw that I had been barefoot.
Did Klopp give me these shoes because I got my foot stabbed last night?
After Ike left, I took out the shoes.
Just enough to wear, with it, I could walk like I used to.
I ran out of the room and ran all the way to the flowers.
It was as beautiful as I imagined it would be as what I saw at night.
In the sea of flowers, there were some busy maids.
I walked over to one of the maids and looked at the kettle in her hand.
"Can you teach me?"
I plucked up the courage to ask her about it.
"Sure, but it's a tough work."
She straightened up and said to me, handing me the water bottle.
"Oh no, you can't water too much, it will soak the roots and the flowers will die."
The maid waved her hand and said, while the maid next to her laughed.
But I quickly learned how to take care of them.
Suddenly, I bumped into someone.
"I'm sorry...I..."
When I turned back to apologize, Phil's face appeared in front of me.
His body still smelled heavily of blood, and his eyes were scarlet.
I subconsciously stepped back.
"Mr. Phil... is sorry..."
My heart seemed to jump out of my chest at any moment, and my nervousness made me stammer a little and my nose tingle.
"Little pet, you just hit me, how to make it up to me?"
Phil had a bad grin on his face as he took a step closer to me.
With each step he took closer, the smell of blood got heavier.
I resisted the urge to vomit and kept backing up.
When the maids next to him saw him, they even left the sea of flowers, and no one was willing to help me at all.
"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to...please..."
I begged him. I didn't want to be sucked for blood, not at all.
"As a pet, you are destined to be sucked by your master. My brother is not sucking your blood now, that is because your blood is not pure enough, the noble vampire Count needs blood that is pure enough."
Phil grabbed my wrist and approached me with fangs showing from his mouth.
"No...don't! Help! Help me..."
Tears streamed down from the corners of my eyes as I struggled to escape, but his hand caught the wound on my wrist just in time.
Because of my struggle, the wound cracked and blood seeped out of the gauze. But Phil looked at the blood on my hand and became more excited.
"What a wonderful taste, much more delicious than that pet of mine."
Phil said, lowering his head and sniffing the blood on my wrist.
"Help..."
I cried out, desperate and calling for help.
Klopp was not at the manor, and the maids around me had long since disappeared.
I kept struggling and a drop of blood dripped down my wrist.
Phil reached out with his other hand and caught the blood drop, putting it in his mouth to taste the blood.
"Sure enough, your blood is the most delicious."
Phil's eyes turned a dark red and his hand grabbed my neck.
My hands were grabbed by him and I could no longer resist. In the struggle, the shoes I was wearing on my feet fell off and I stepped on the spikes of the roses.
But I could no longer care about the pain, I just wanted to escape.
Phil looked at the gauze on my neck like he was looking for a more suitable place to bite down.
Because that gauze not only got in the way, there were potions on them, and for humans, that's medicine to restore wounds, but for vampires, that could be poison.
Apparently he didn t want to be poisoned yet.
"Help..."
I cried while closing my eyes in despair, and my voice for help was so low that only Phil and I could hear it.
