Chapter 11 Second Private Dance

"I'll say upfront that after this one, I'm taking three days off."

I entered the backstage of the club Tom was very impatient and pulled my hand ready to say something, I reached out and blocked his mouth and stressed to him in a tone that brooked no argument.

"I can give you five days off."

I didn't expect Tom to agree to my request in the first place and add two extra days.

While the extra two days off made me feel happy, it made me feel even more uneasy inside, always feeling that Tom must be hiding something from me.

It's definitely not just something as simple as having me perform on stage today, he must have something bad brewing.

I looked at Tom skeptically, and under the force of my gaze, Tom finally spoke.

"Well, that guest of yesterday is here again."

Tom waved his hand with a helpless expression, indicating that there was nothing he could do, "The other side named you to perform on stage."

"Are you talking about Green?"

I asked him tentatively, after all, I had two guests yesterday, although neither of them were the persons I wanted to see again face to face.

Though in the morning I was still missing the first kiss I'd had taken from me yesterday by that redheaded man.

But if one of them does come, I still hope it's Green.

As for that man...

I shook my head violently, the man's personality made me feel as horrible as his red hair. Even he was handsome and he was a great kisser, I didn't want to cross paths with him anymore.

"Of course not, it's Green's brother!"

Soon Tom's words dashed my hopes.

"I think you know I've already said that it was the last time I picked up a private dance yesterday."

"I remember every word you said, sweetheart, but he offered $150,000."

Tom's hands were raised above his head, his eyes wide, and he said in a very exaggerated tone.

Even though Tom had long been used to seeing expansive customers in nightclubs, he hadn't seen two brothers two days in a row, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars just to get a private dance from a stripper.

"But..."

The price was indeed very attractive to me, but I always felt that this time the man's intentions were not pure.

"Selena, I don't think you'll forget the patient the nurse was talking about today, will you?"

Jenny suddenly spoke up, she was rarely so quiet, I had almost forgotten she was there just now.

He had been blushing since seeing Tom and hadn't spoken since following me.

"Okay, I promise."

I had to admit, I was worried that I simply wouldn t have enough money to pay for the surgery right now.

I had consulted with William before we returned and he told me that I would need to set aside at least $300,000 if Eric wanted the surgery.

"Let's hope it's the last time."

"Well, get changed into your clothes, my sweethearts."

Tom was relieved to see me say yes while he rummaged through his closet and handed Jenny and I two brand new dance outfits.

Having accepting the clothes, we were just about to change when Jenny suddenly remembered something and shouted at Tom who was already halfway out of the door frame.

"Hey, I just sent her back, why should I work along!"

"Double commission for you today, and I'll change your favorite music."

Tom leaned back and gave Jenny a victory gesture while winking at her.

I saw Jenny's face instantly look like a red tomato as she silently changed her clothes.

If it was any other time, I would have flirted with her, but I couldn't compose myself now and just patted her on the shoulder and gave her a smile.

"Do you know that your smile is worse than crying?"

Jenny copied my smile and gave me the same ugly one.

"I can't believe you're in the mood to mock me."

"I don't have a hundred and fifty thousand dollars to pay for my appearance, come on, let me make you in a makeup that will make him swoon and fall in love with you at first glance and there will be many hundreds of thousands brought to you afterwards. "

"And all I want to do is lie on the couch and sleep all day and night."

I sent Jenny a blank stare and made a final argument with her.

Now I was really tired of letting Jenny create on my face. I actually wore a mask all the time and didn't need any makeup at all, but Jenny really enjoyed putting it on me.

She said that every time she touched my skin while she was doing my makeup she could feel what God felt as God was shaping me, and at that moment she became the divine God and could forget the troubles of life for a while.

"Alright! That's perfect."

Jenny marveled at her masterpiece, while I put the mask on straight away and tied it very hard in a knot.

To prevent the same situation as last time when the man had accidentally removed my mask.

I was very thankful for the dim lighting in the room last time so he didn't get a full look at my face.

I touched the corner of my lips with my left hand and I thought again of the last time this man had kissed me so hotly, he was a really good kisser and it had always stuck with me.

Even during the day in class, I actually dreamed of doing something more intimate with him.

"What a waste!"

Jenny was very unhappy with my action of putting on the mask and muttered in a low voice.

I didn't pay any attention to her complaints and straightened my clothes in the dressing mirror to make myself look more presentable.

I didn't understand the pain I would feel when confronted with Green's brother, but now there was actually some anticipation in my heart as well.

"I'll meet you in the dressing room after the show."

Already out of the room, I heard Jenny's shout from a distance.

It was the same room I had danced in yesterday, and I stood outside the door of the room and took a deep breath, mentally reassuring myself.

"Come on you can do it! Just two more hours and you'll be back in your warm bed."

Only after preparing my mind did I knock gently on the door.

Before I came Tom told me that the surveillance equipment in the room had been turned off and that he would also stay in the next room and be the first to rush over as soon as I shouted.

"Come in."

The man's voice was low and carried no emotional content, but I was still acutely aware of some tension.

I pushed the door open and stepped into the room and left it ajar so that he wouldn't catch me again if I needed to unlock it when I tried to escape.

"Lock the door, and you're late today."

Well, my plan failed.

"It's not my work day."

I hid myself in the shadows and instead of keeping my head high as I usually did, I pressed it down as low as I could to make my presence invisible to him and tried to explain for my tardiness.

"I didn't pay a hundred and fifty grand to see you perform standing silently in the corner."

I didn t know if I heard it wrong, but I heard somewhat suppressed trembling in his cold voice.
