Chapter 9 Applying for the Job as an Interpreter
What do you want me to say? She didn't know what should she say to Rachel.
"Should I say, I'm sorry, I should not engage with Harry to break up your relationship?"
That's so hypocritical.
And the marriage was decided by two mothers. There was nothing she could do.
"Harry squinted at her and stepped forward calmly. Stacy felt depressed and couldn't help but take a step back. ""I didn't do anything wrong, did I?"""
"Rachel came up and took his arm. ""Harry, don't be angry. It's my fault. I shouldn't say that. She just came here. I shouldn't have to come. You should have a rest. I'll leave now."""
It's not you who should leave. Harry grabbed her wrist and took her upstairs.
"Rachel was delighted in her heart. Although Harry had already said that he would be with her, he never had any feelings about her."
"Today, Harry made her overjoyed."
"After all, the girl that night was not her. Only when something happened between them could she steal this man's heart. "
Stacy didn't look up but silently went into the room.
Rachel looked back and happened to see Stacy entering the room. She was very skinny. Rachel suddenly found that she was very similar to the girl that night.
"That night, she had enough when she found a virgin for Harry?regardless of her jealousy. She didn't want to see what kind of girl Harry was having sex with."
She only saw the girl's skinny back?when she left.
No wonder that Stacy looked so familiar to her.
It turned out that this kind of familiarity did not come out of anywhere.
Rachel panicked when she thought that the woman that night might be Stacy.
She must keep Stacy away from Harry.
She should not let them got close to each other in case Harry noticed anything.
"After all, she was the woman who had had sex with him."
"After entering the room, Rachel hugged Harry and buried her head in his arms and said softly, ""Harry, let me be your woman again."""
"As she spoke, she kissed him. Harry was quite calm. He didn't have the impulse for Rachel as a man."
"Except for that night, he had no desire for her at all!"
"Just as Rachel was about to touch his lips, he turned his head and Rachel failed to kiss him. "
"It's getting late, go to bed early. Harry pulled his collar, feeling a little agitated."
As for why he didn't know. He was disturbed that he had no desire for her as a man.
"Rachel clenched her fists and looked a little aggrieved. ""Harry, don't you like me?"""
Don't think too much. Harry lowered his voice and put his arm around her shoulder. "Sleep here tonight."
Rachel was a woman. She knew too well what it meant if a man had no interest in her.
"She lay on the bed obediently. Her eyes brimmed with tears, but they didn't fall down."
It was obvious that she was wronged but so tolerant.
"Harry?felt sorry about it. She was also tolerant that night. No matter what he did to her, she didn't make a sound."
"He became gentle and covered her with a quilt. He sat on the bed. ""Don't think too much. When we get married, I will definitely do it."""
"Rachel nodded slightly. She had been with Harry for a long time, so she knew him well. Even if he didn't love her, he would definitely take responsibility for her out of obligation."
"Harry took off his coat and stepped out of the room. He went downstairs and threw the coat on the sofa. Then, he sank into the sofa, with his slender legs crossed over the tea-table. He leaned his head on the sofa, looking a little tired. "
Early morning.
"When Stacy finished washing and put on her clothes, Harry was sitting at the table and reading the Money Today. Rachel seemed to know him very well, so she made him a pot of black hot coffee."
Olena had prepared breakfast. Stacy didn't want to disturb them so she sat at the end of the table without saying a word. She kept a distance from them and lowered her head to drink porridge.
Olena served the fried egg and looked at Stacy. She frowned. She was the one who got married to the young master. Why was she so humble in front of the mistress?
"Olena's mother said loudly on purpose, ""My lady, you should be sitting in the lower position of the young master."""
Eh?
Stacy looked up.
Harry also put down the financial report in his hand.
"They looked at each other for a moment. When Stacy thought that the man looked at her so coldly last night, she felt chill in her heart."
"When Harry was very young, his mother passed away and he was taken care of by Olena."
He respected her who took care of him very much.
"Therefore, Olena spoke in a casual manner."
"They got married for their own purpose. Stacy felt that she should not disturb his private life. After she finished the porridge, she said with a smile, ""I've had plenty. Take your time."""
"Through last night, Stacy felt that Harry cared about Rachel very much, so she had better behave herself."
She walked very fast as if a monster was chasing after her.
"Looking at Stacy's back, Harry narrowed his eyes slightly."
"Rachel thought for a while and said in a low voice, ""Maybe she's not used to it because?I'm here. From now on..."""
"Harry put a glass of milk in front of her and said, ""She will leave in a month."""
Rachel lowered her eyes slightly. This month was too long for her.
Stacy went back to her room and turned on her cell phone. She received a reply from the 58 City app.
"They wanted her to have an interview. After Harry and Rachel left, Stacy also went out of the villa to take a taxi for the interview."
The building of the Hyatt Group very tall and majestic!
"Stacy stood in front of the building, took a deep breath, and then stepped in."
"She hadn't graduated from college, so it was not easy for her to find a nice job. She really wanted to get the job."
"In the interview area, there were full of people. They were all wearing formal clothes and holding resumes in their hands. It seemed that they had made full preparation for this interview. Stacy was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, which made her look not compatible."
She didn't look like to be here for an interview."
"Ignoring other people's strange look, she quietly stood aside and waited."
"After nearly an hour, it was Stacy's turn."
"She couldn't regard jobs like washing the dishes and delivering the newspaper as her work experience. She had no education background, so she didn't make a resume."
The interviewer frowned when seeing her empty work experience. "How do you know the language of A country?"
"After all, this was not a popular language."
"This position had been vacant for a long time, but there was no candidate."
"Stacy thought of everything that happened in the past and held her hands tightly. ""I have lived there, in order to better communicate with the locals, I learned their language and writing..."""
This voice
"Rachel passed by the interview area with the documents in her hand. When she heard the familiar voice, she looked for where the voice was coming from, and then she saw Stacy. Her heart suddenly sunk."
