I Trust You

[Present Day Time]

Kris Tang

"Oh, oh! There he is!"

Lydia shouts, pointing behind me.

His scent already flooded my nostrils moments ago.

"Ice cream was good!" Bahm says with a old clever smile on his face as he walks up to us.

I tried my hardest to smile back, knowing all my life Bahm always hated sweets. He'd never go get seconds for ice cream, NEVER!

It made my stomach churn!

"So, what do you think?

Are you sure you want to attend this academy?" My voice came out shaky, hoping he'd say no so we could avoid Hunnie at all cost. My heart was secretly heavy from all of this extra and cautious weight.

"Mmmm...it's alright.

I'll scope it for myself, but it looks harmless."

He shrugs, licking his ice cream cone and a shooting a wink Lydia's way, making her quiver in her panties with just his looks.

"Why?...

You still don't think it's a good idea?"

"Well, like Nyku and I said back home, you had many enemies here before, and your mom also said to stay out of trouble. So I'm only obeying their orders and looking out for you."

Casually shrugging in return, Bahm looks up to the sky, expressing on his face how much I was right.

That's all he ever strived for his whole life, not to dispppont Mama Fei.

He sighs seconds later.

"I told you I'll stay with you at all times, and obey you! Don't worry about me falling into trouble.

I know I can trust you enough to look out for me." He licks his cone some more and walks over to Lydia, throwing his arms over her shoulder.

"Maybe... it's you, that doesn't trust me?"

"I trust you.

I also want to ensure you, that everything I do and have been doing, will always be for your well being. Alright?"

Bahm grins and nods his head while turning to his side, giving Lydia a sloppy wet kiss on her glossy duck lips.

"Oh! Oh!

Let's do the beach tomorrow before the my classes!

Pleaseeeee!"

Lydia jumps in Bahm's arms and starts pecking her lips against his untouched baby smooth skin.

I cringed deeply inside and rolled my eyes as Bahm had become this new sucker to the same Siren he deflowered because of me. Psshh...What a simp!

We continued to explore parts of Witchy World we hadn't seen since we landed in the city to see Lydia.

We all thought she would be a good distraction from Bahm finding out who Hunnie was and how much she meant to him. It killed me that I was doing this, keeping him away from his mate. I've been so defeated with myself on if I was doing the right thing.

I rolled my eyes at this new life his mother had created.

I also avoided The Academy as much as possible for reasons like stumbling upon Hunnie today, but I was glad I finally got to see her first and warned her to stay away from the ticking time bomb with memory loss she had created.

The passed 8 months had been a challenge for us all. From teaching Bahm to speak English and becoming familiarized with me all over again, to learning how to use a phone, car, and the showers. The helpful beings inside of the castle had to avoid the hardest thing ever. Bringing up any memory that connected to his mate, Hunnie. Their almost Queen.

Bahm did suffer a great amount of pain and paranoia once Momma Fei and Nyku tried explaining who Hunnie was.

They informed she was his mate that helped banished him to Hell and once they completed their sentences, he would rip his skin off his body and shift into that Demon Lycan that appeared to us the first day he came back home.

Thankfully, when he came back to his senses and turned back, he would forget the whole conversation.

This happened twice, the last time not even being two months ago. He's very damaged from Hell.

"So I'll start tomorrow if I can. If not tomorrow...then....---"

"..."

Bahm stops speaking as we walk back to our car and passed The Academy, when all of a sudden he begins sniffing the air frantically.

"What's that smell!"

His voice grows deep and he glances at me with onyx eyes.

Sharing similar noses, I sniff the air and immediately knew it was traces of Hunnie's scent that must be lingering around the sidewalk that he smells!

FOR HEAVENS SAKE!!!

"Who cares!...Let's just go." I sucked my teeth. Fear washes over me quickly, but I disguised it as annoyance, worrying what he would do with that scent if he knew who it was...

He was spinning his head in every direction while Lydia laughed at his animalistic behavior. I grabbed him by his sleeves and we went back home.

The next morning, I hopped out of bed eyeing Lydia and Bahm in disgust whom were cuddled up behind me, then decided to make a trip to Witchy World early this morning.

I shook Bahm's body slightly to let him be known of my leave.

"I'm going to register you with The Academy." I say to him in our link.

He nods his head and turns to lay on his side, cuddling Lydia's naked body.

When I step foot out the door, his arousal was already flowing through my body. Tuning them out, I hopped into our luxury sedan, making my way to the nearby school and whispering the magical spell to open the portal to Witchy World. Bahm taught me a few spells since he acted too good to even break a sweat this time around here. So there wasn't much asking of help with his magical abilities.

"Hey Kris,

Glad to see you back."

A few Rogue witches passes by and giggles. I send them a smirk, but it quickly disappears when I get a whiff of Miss Hunnie Inzotta from the sidewalk.

She was seated at the same table she's always sat at with her friends. I could also smell traces of alcohol around her as I crept up closer to the table.

So she has time to go out!!!

Anger fully took me over.

How dare she!

"Here she is living the best time of her life. That bitch!" I mumbled to myself.

Seating myself to the table right next to their's, all my attention was on Hunnie and how hung over she looked. She wore a black and white plaid shirt that seemed to big on her, black capri pants and white sandals. Her hair was

I cursed her in my head, calling her disgusting names mask the connection of the bond. When more than ten minutes go by, and the girls weren't showing any signs of splitting up, I texted a few rogue friends to go register Bahm in the office for me, then I opened a hacking program on my phone.

I came across a picture of a Hibiscus flower and then notices Hunnie's first and last name next to the number.

"Who's number is this?"

MY ears twitches as Hunnie's voice cracks from a distance and I watch her bring the phone up to her ear.

"Hello?"

"It's Kris, don't say anything and meet me by that bathroom I saw you last."

The phone clicks, and I watch Hunnie lower her phone slowly from her ears and her friends questioning if everything was fine.

"Uhh..yeah...it was a spam call." She lies, then excuses herself to the restroom.

I follow closely behind her, her scent lingering in the air made my heart beat with anticipation. An anticipation I couldn't dare to ignite.

Stupid bond!

Her heart begins beating rapidly. She clings onto her bag against her chest and turns around to look behind her. Quicky, I jumped behind a stone wall to my side, hiding from her own connection to me.

I missed her, but I must do what I have to for Bahm's mental sake.

I must make sure she remains forgotten.

Hunnie arrives to the bathroom moments later, knocking on the door before proceeding to open and close the door behind her, when I grab a hold of it and shove myself. She gasps and brings her hands to cover her mouth.

I take her in faithfully, but she couldn't even look me in my eyes.

Examining her nervous demeanor, Hunnie stares at the sparkling sink basin, trembling and biting her lips while sluggishly holding herself up.

"Hunnie,"

I start and she whips her head up to look at me.

I hadn't expect for her to divert all her attention so suddenly. Those humongous hazel eyes staring at me with so much pain. I hated that I had to do this.

The look on her curious face as she must thinks I have good news..

"I know you have your magic's scent cloaked...

but I need you... to cloak your own scent.

Bahm will be attending today."

"B-B-But...but Kris why?" Her lips tremble and a single tear rolls down her puffy cheeks.

A face so beautiful, my heart ached painfully.

"Who--Who ask you to do this?"

"Don't ask questions!

YOU DID ALL OF THIS!"

Snarling out of anger, she turns and sobs towards the mirror. I hated to look at her face, or hear her cry. Especially when it was me causing it now.

"Trust me, things aren't the same.

This is for the best."

She lowers her bags to the ground and wipes her face.

Her mind seemed to travel somewhere far when she stares down at her feet.

Whispers are then heard and after, her scent disappears.

I sniffle through the air, stealing one more glance at those wide hazel eyes looking back at me.

"And stay away from him Hunnie.

You've damaged so much already."
