THE BEGINNING:CHAPTER IX:RESCUED

The sunlight slowly rose steadily above the clouds caressing a snowcapped mountain which stood tall behind a wreckage shrouded with white snow brought by the harsh strong wind the previous night across the snowfield carrying along with it several particles of the crisp snow that totally spread across the terrain as well as the broken fuselage of flight A43, obscuring the remains of dead passengers from the watchful eyes of four angry wolves except for the keen eyes and special instincts of the vultures who alighted on the wreckage obliviously attracting attention from the wolves enabling them to make out the wreckage. The pack were busy searching for fresh meat to devour and were quite lucky to notice the wreckage which was almost covered with snow due to the attraction of hungry vultures alighting on the fuselage with their scanty feathers drawing unnecessary attention from the fierce dogs.

The four wolves surrounded the fuselage digging in their sharp claws into the soft snow in search of fresh meat sniffing the cool air underneath the wreckage for dead corpse that would provide them an early breakfast in order for them to continue their foraging into the distant forest covered with evergreen trees that couldn't escape from his harsh winter which pour down incessant amount of dry snow shrouding their green leaves with small balls of white snow. The black Alpha male who stood in front of the eroded cockpit on top of a ball of ice that flowed from the mountain, gently fondled ringlets of a dead man stretching it forth below the fuselage after sniffing out the bloody scent of Malcolm's corpse that layed partly covered with the left seat inside the flight deck that had been eroded by the rocky mountain standing behind the wreckage during the avalanche that scrape off some thick snow from the mountain top which actually buried the left wing of the fuselage.

Unable to find a way through the narrow opening of the dented cockpit, the wolf resorted to brute force using its huge body weight to smash it open in order to get free access to Malcolm's lifeless corpse but failed to get through the narrow opening which proves stronger than it fleshy claws compared to the fleshy alloy metal of the eroded fuselage. The wolf remained undaunted and kept on thrusting its forelimbs on the white metal which was quite tough for it to break into but its persistence finally paid off when the tough aluminum broke open revealing the compressed head of captain Malcolm's cranium including the dusty snow which partly covered his body and wasted no time in using its sharp canines, which came out exposed inside its wide mouth, to pull his head out of the seat onto the snow using its sheer strength but failed to get his lifeless body completely out of the cockpit, only his head remained protruding out of the shattered window waiting for the wolf to devour. It began to chew his head with its lethal teeths biting off chunks of bloody flesh from his cranium exposing sheer flesh mixed with red blood which tainted the white snow while the three smaller wolves below the fuselage instantly perceived the scent of bleeding flesh using their snout to sniff the air and came running to the point of attraction where the alpha stood tearing part of his head off gushing out pure blood which stained the its muzzle that was mixed with the crisp snow except for his ferocious eyes which glared at the other three as they slowly approach the beast ready to feast along with their alpha. They joined the alpha in ripping apart sheer flesh from the corpse enjoying the feast oblivious to the silent but deep footsteps of a man cladded in a thick garnet robe who concealed his face with a furry cowl and two short sword lay straped to his torso with a black leather belt while a claymore was sheathed in its scabbard on his black girdle around the waist of his exposed inner black pants that was covered from his knees to his feet with a black combat knee-high boots that sank deep into the snow as he stealthily approach the wreckage trying not to arouse any noise that would draw attention from the dining dogs and eventually stood behind the four oblivious beasts that were feasting non-stop on Malcolm's corpse which have been completely pulled out of the cockpit onto the tainted snow with the assistance of the three smaller wolves before deciding to surreptitiously approach behind them pulling out his two short sword behind his back and using a swift technique that he exquisitely carried out with technical skill, he thrust two lethal slice on the throat of the alpha dog slicing off it's blood vessels by the neck region leaving it ghastly wounded before breathing its last and gave the three wolves no time to react after sailing past the alpha thrusting his sharp blades into the vital organs of their hairy bodies leaving them stark dead on the snow which was hued with their warm blood.

He sheathed his swords into its short scabbard and entered inside muddled fuselage through the widely exposed part of the broken through the widely exposed part of the broken fuselage in order to check for survivors who might have made it through the crash but found no one except corpses of innocent passengers lying helplessly on broken seats and move gently through the rough aisle peering at the ruin cabin of the third compartment where different scattered items lay scattered on damaged seats as well as their heavy luggages that broke away from their lockers lie opened on the ground totally fractured open exposing neat outfits of some passengers before he came across an unconscious woman lying strapped to her seat by the left row with another dead corpse lying on her thighs with her face covered in sheer blood which tainted her black wavy hair that lay spread on top of the seat while her eyes remained open for her blood on her forehead to dribbled down slowly into the tear duct. He walked up to her and stood beside her peering at the ugly scene after stepping on broken pieces of trash on a plastic tray that lay beneath his boots scattered on the murky ground with some pile of snow on lifeless bodies of passengers that lain at different part of the wreck fuselage which left the back totally exposed enabling him to see the other part of the plane snowcladded by the thick white snow except for the broken rudder protruding out of the snow facing upwards while the tail plane sank into the snow concealing its broken elevator from his sight including the hold, which lay deep down the snow. The right wing of the fuselage lay facing the snow caressing the crisp snow with its aileron allowing two damaged jet engine to sit on the soft snow.

The hooded man gently closed the opened eyes of Jessica who was now lying dead after hitting her head against the side window during the hard collision with the mountain cap which broke the airplane apart from its belly and climbed the broken stairscase that was missing a handrail heading upwards without looking back at Marion who lay dead beside the door way of the cockpit, ascending into the second compartment which also faced the same fate with the third section. He head on striding through the aisle in between broken seats until he get to the next fancy staircase that surprisingly, survived the heavy impact with the snowcapped mountain and ascended up without delay checking for survivors but found the copilot lying in a pool of blood with his head resting on the seventeenth step which his head fell on when he tumbled down from the upper stairs after John had loosen his hold on his throat with his sharp claws and move past him ascending into the standard cabin where squeeze himself through the tight corner which lay bent to his left on one side giving him imperfect balance to freely move like he did in the other compartments before staring at the corpse of John lying beside a broken seat while Lora and Luke lay dead beside the corner wall near a exposed window of the fuselage which tilted their lifeless bodies in together in a lifeless embrace.

Afterwards, he peered through to see if anyone else survived in the compartment but found everyone lying dead on the middled cabin with traces of blood on their solid bodies and then, he decided to head back since he found no survivors but he heard a mild cry of a baby coming from the overhead locker which stopped him abruptly from turning back and walked forward keeping his balance steady enough to tiptoe past the three corpse that lay unconscious to his silent footsteps which trampled on the broken seat with careful steps avoiding the bodies on his way. Eventually, he arrived at the sealed locker struggling to keep his balance steady enough to open the sealed locker which he did and took out a baby girl wrapped in a soft cloth who had miraculously survived the crash due to help of the sealed locker which housed other luggages that would be more drastic if the aircraft had landed on the snow with its right flank when it collided with the mountain the previous night.

The strange man had seen the fatal accident occurred the previous night from his mountain cave where he had taken shelter for the night resting for some hours before the incident took place after trekking for several miles in the snow and headed towards the wreckage walking tirelessly the same because of the far distance between him and the wrecked fuselage which he found partly covered with snow along with the wild animals that were feeding on Malcolm's corpse.

He took the child from the locker and headed back the way he came leaving the corpses lying helplessly on the floor alongside the wreckage carrying the baby away from the desolate site strolling beside the tall mountains through the rocky pathway filled with white snow which covered his foot as he tread back to his distant hideout with the baby strapped to his back by a loose cloth which he tied around his outer cloak from his right shoulder abandoning the vultures to alight on the exposed corpse of the dead pilot including the dead carcasses.
