"What do you want me to do, Ayesha? I'll chase him and beg him to come back. It's like I'm killing myself with that."

Ayesha shook her head.

"If you want to be happy, Dionne. You have to lower your pride. And so a woman gets hurt because sometimes it’s too stupid. I knew from the beginning that he wasn't the man for you but I just kept quiet because I want your happiness."

Dionne was silent. Why does Ayesha still seem to be blaming her for being a fool? But she can’t blame her because Ayesha became hurt by what she was going through and sighed.

"I understand what you want to happen, Ayesha, but we can't force someone if they don't love us anymore," she said.

Ayesha became silent and took a deep breath.

"You're right, Dionne. But what about you and your baby?" Ayesha asked.

"I can raise my child on my own, Ayesha," she says.

No matter what happens, she will not go after him. He is the one who left and hurt her feelings and then will continue to chase? Maybe she's not stupid enough to do that.

"Right now you don't have a problem with your baby, Dionne. But when it comes out and grows up. I'm sure it asks where its father is."

"My unborn child will not always be a child, Ayesha. So if that day ever comes I know she will understand everything," said Dionne.

"Yeah, you're right. And I'm always here for you. I will help you until you gave birth. Earlier when you opened the gate, I felt that you had a problem because it was evident on your face. But I know you can get through it all. "

"Thank you, Ayesha. I don't know if I could do it all without you," she replied.

"You're welcome. What about your parents? Do they already know?"

"They don't know, Ayesha. I'm afraid to tell them," she replied.

"It's really scary but they also have the right to know your condition. How soon are you going to tell them? They'll find out whatever you hide about your situation, Dionne."

"I was going to say it but right now I'm still gathering courage. You know they only depend on me but now this is what I'm going through," she says.

"It's not your fault that you went through this, Dionne. It's just that some men are heartless and thick-faced. So what else are you doing in this house? Aren't you leaving yet? Pack your things and live in my house." Ayesha said.

Dionne stood up. Ayesha is right now that she and Noah are separated there is no reason for her to stay in this house.

Dionne stood up. Ayesha is right now that she and Noah are separated there is no reason for her to stay in this house.

"Don't you have any belongings left?" it asked as we exited the gate.

"There are a lot more, but I'll just leave them here; all I brought were the most important ones," she replied.

"All right," she says, motioning to the gate door, which has been locked.

And two minutes later, as we got closer to the road's edge, a straining halt appeared in front of us, with Ayesha opening the car for me and then entering the cab.

After an hour of driving the taxi driver, we arrived in the city at A house. We got out of the taxi after paying.

"Does it bother your boyfriend if I live with you?" I asked.

Ayesha and her doctor lover have been living together in this house for five years, and I can attest to the strength of their relationship because I have never heard Arya complain about her partner.

"Kiley is nice, Dionne, so you won't have to worry about anything when you live here," he says.

I gave a nod.

"Right now, all you have to think about is who your child will be."

We entered the house a minute later and found Kiley watching television in the living room; when he noticed we were there, he turned his head in our direction. Ayesha walked up to Kiley and kissed him on the cheek.

"Did you get home earlier than usual?" Ayesha asked.

"Yes, and you're not at home," Kiley said.

"I visited Dionne's house."

Kiley smiled as she looked at me.

"Sit down, Dionne, and tell me how you're doing, " Kiley said.

"I'm fine," I replied.

"I thought I saw you earlier in the mall with Noah, but I was mistaken because the woman your boyfriend was with had long brown hair," Kiley explained.

"I'd never been to a mall with him before." My answer.

Yes, Noah and I were together for two years, but he never took me to the mall.

We would sometimes argue over trivial matters because he would not take me with him if he left. We'll have to fight when I leave and take him with me. Ayesha looked at me as if she knew why Noah and I had broken up. The pain I'm experiencing is reappearing. I have a feeling he has someone else, but my heart and mind refuse to accept the possibility.

I don't want to think about anything negative right now, but when Kiley told me something, I want to scream and cry.

Ayesha approached Kiley and placed her hand on Kiley’s face.

"Sweetheart, you probably forgot to wear glasses, so you see something, but it's not Noah," Ayesha said.

"I only have a defect in my eyes but I'm not blind; Noah even smiled at me," Kiley explained.

Kiley and Noah are acquaintances but not friends.

"Noah and Dionne are already broken up, Love," Ayesha revealed. Kiley's eyes widened with the realization of what he had heard.

"Is it that easy? Since when?" he asked.

"It was last week, Kiley," I explained.

"And immediately find someone else?  That's ridiculous. Dionne, I knew from the start, when I first met him, that he wasn't doing you any good." he said, sounding exactly like my brother.

Kiley said with a shake of his head. What he said touched me.
