Chapter 7: Who Allows You To Come In?

Quickly Lendon opened his arms naturally to catch her, and Kendra's body landed on his arms, and a good smell lingered on his nose trails.

Kendra closed her eyes and thought she would fall on the ground, but she didn't feel the pain for a long time.

A few seconds passed, and Kendra still didn't open her eyes.

"You don't go down?" Lendon asked coldly.

Kendra suddenly opened her eyes and saw Lendon's face. She felt so shocked and couldn't say a word.

Lendon loosened his arms and threw Kendra on the ground impatiently.

This time, Kendra really fell on the ground. She got up and patted her clothes. "Can't you just let me down? It hurts!" Kendra glared at him and complained.

"Who allows you to come into this room?" Lendon asked. Strode and sat down on a sofa, held a glass of wine.

Kendra didn't know Lendon would be here, but she did break in without permission, so she said, "I lost my way. I happened to pass by. I will leave now." Kendra turned around and wanted to go out immediately.

"Wait!" Lendon said.

Kendra stopped right away and felt worried. Lendon could quickly get angry. What if he wanted to kill her again?

"Why are you so afraid of me?" Lendon walked to Kendra and whispered. Kendra was surrounded by Lendon's smell promptly.

"Am I?" She pointed to herself. She wanted to run, but she was too nervous about fleeing away.

"Do you think I will hurt you?" Lendon stood behind Kendra and murmured. He narrowed his eyes dangerously.

Kendra shook her head nervously and said, "No!" She bit her lips and felt frustrated.

"You seem really afraid of my gun. Now you are well-behaved." Lendon grabbed Kendra's chin and sneered.

"I was wrong earlier. I shouldn't go against you. Please forgive me." Kendra smiled and acted like a cute rabbit. She looked into Lendon's eyes and decided to save herself from this demon first.

"You are so cute." Lendon rubbed Kendra's chin and said, "I want you now." His tone was calm as if he were talking about the weather. However, Kendra got so terrified after hearing his words.

"It's been late. You should get some rest. Good night." Kendra said and wanted to run away.

However, as soon as Kendra lifted her feet, Lendon grabbed her hands and pressed her to the wall.

Kendra's back was hurt, and she frowned.

"Where do you want to go?" Lendon asked. He was so close to Kendra's body.

Kendra stared at Lendon with horror and didn't know what to say.

Lendon rubbed Kendra's hair gently and teased her, "It is time to sleep."

"Good night," Kendra said in a low voice and tried to run away again. She had a bad feeling that if she stays, Lendon will touch her.

However, Lendon held Kendra into his arms directly and asked arrogantly, "Do I let you go?"

Kendra felt so nervous and pushed Lendon.

"It's not our first time. Don't be so nervous, honey." Lendon looked at Kendra and joked.

"Mr. Martin, please show some respect to me." Kendra lowered her head and said.

"Oh, that's interesting." Lendon smiled and gently ran his fingers on her hair, "I never heard anyone say this to me before. You're the first one,"

Kendra pushed Lendon away and said, "I don't know what you want to do, but tomorrow you will know I am not the one you are looking for." She managed to break free and strode away.

"Kendra, let me tell you. You are my cure." Lendon growled.

Kendra suddenly felt scared and ran away from him quickly.

Looking at Kendra's back, Lendon sneered. No one ever doubted his decisions before. This woman was bold to fight against his well.

It took Kendra some time to find her way back to her room. She lay on her bed and couldn't fall asleep. Damn Lendon! He was so evil and malicious! Kendra tortured her pillow for a long time, but she still couldn't calm down a bit.

After a while, Kendra sighed and felt so upset. Tomorrow would be a full moon night. What would they plan to do? Would they let her go after tomorrow? Kendra prayed that everything would be fine tomorrow if she's not the one they're looking for. She wanted to leave this place as soon as possible.

Kendra didn't go out of her room the entire day as if she's like a convicted criminal awaiting her execution. She couldn't do anything but wait.

When sunset came, Kendra felt something abnormal in this castle. She heard servants' footsteps leaving. And the castle became so quiet. Kendra was so curious, but she didn't dare to go out.

After a while, someone knocked on her door.

"Miss Miller, it's time. Please follow me." Curtis stood outside the door of Kendra's room with some servants beside him.

"Where are we going?" Kendra curiously asked when she opened her door.

"Just follow me," Curtis said.

Kendra had to go with Curtis.

They passed in a long corridor. Kendra could feel the eerie sounds of every step she took.

"Why does the castle seem so abnormal tonight?" Kendra asked.

Curtis didn't answer Kendra's question. He stopped and opened the door. "Here we are." He said as soon as they stopped in front of one room.

What was happening? Why did everyone seem so strange? Kendra walked into the room worriedly and saw some maidservants. Two of them walked to her with a piece of dress and said, "Miss Miller, please."

Kendra walked into a big tub nervously. Those maidservants helped her have a bath. Finally, they told her to put on a beautiful dress. It was a white dress made of silk.

"Do I have to wear this?" Kendra looked at the dress and asked shockingly.

"Yes." A maidservant answered.

"Why do I need to put it on?" Kendra asked and had a bad feeling.

"We don't know. Please put it on. It's an order." The maidservant looked at Kendra and calmly said.

Kendra felt so speechless. This dress was so exposed, but it seemed that she needed to stay in the tub forever if she didn't put it on. Kendra thought for a while and gave in.

After Kendra walked out of the bathroom, all the servants left the room. Kendra was alone.

It was a big room with luxurious decoration. Kendra looked around and appreciated every art hanging on the wall. When she stared at a painting, the lights suddenly were all turned off.

Kendra trembled and wanted to turn around. At that time, she heard someone walking toward her.

"Who is there?" Kendra asked. Her voice echoed in the darkness and sounded so terrified.

The footsteps seemed closer and closer. Kendra covered her ears and squatted. "Don't come here!" She begged.

No one said a word, but the footsteps disappeared.

The darkness and silence made Kendra lost all her temperature. She quickly closed her eyes, but she saw a shadow behind her before she could totally shut her eyes. Obviously, someone was standing behind her.
