THE WEDDING 2

She saw a middle-aged lady making baby milk, and there were a lot of bottles in a bowl on the kitchen counter.

"W… who are you?" The woman asked in a shaky voice, stepping back as she laid her eyes on Medusa.

Medusa smirked and cast a spell on the woman and took a lot of baby milk bottles in a bean bag and flew out of the motherless baby's home, descending into hell like lightning.

She carried Lucinda on her lap and started feeding her one of the baby bottles in her arm.

Lucinda started sucking on the bottle with her tiny mouth continuously, closing her eyes and slowly drifting to sleep. Medusa heaved a sigh. She placed her on the bed and covered her with the duvet before sleeping next to her on the soft bed.

20 years later,

"Lucinda! Lucinda! Lucinda! Where are you?" Lucifer called with a deep and hallowing voice.

"I am coming," She answered from where she was, stood up and started flying back to the castle. She loved mysteries and also loved exploring her surroundings.

She had grown into a fine and beautiful lady with eyes like flames and glowing skin. It was shining like the morning sun. She had long black silky hair that reached her feet. It was shiny and extremely dark.

She landed on the castle's gate and began running toward Lucifer at full speed. She arrived at his throne room with demons guiding the entrance. She ignored them and pushed the door open. She began walking slowly toward him.

She eyed him on his black throne. His dark gaze was fixed on her. She sauntered to him and sat beside him on his throne, as he created a small space for her to sit. She also sat on his lap.

"Where were you?" he asked with authority. She forced a smile, but he didn't return the smile.

"I…was reading," she replied.

"What were you reading?" he asked.

"I was reading the Bible." She answered. But he didn't look surprised. Instead, he flashed her a smile.

"Here we don't read the bible, we rather study the bible," he stated.

"But I don't know how to study the Bible." she replied, looking keenly at him.

"Don't worry, I will assign someone to teach you the Bible. It's essential for my wife to know the Bible inside and out." He said confidently.

"Okay, I need to ask you something. I, uh, had a strange dream yesterday that I was a human." She said softly, and his eyes widened in utter shock, and he tried to hide his expression.

"Seriously? What makes you think you are a human? Just look at you. You are nothing like a human. They are not as beautiful as you, and they are liars and cheaters," he muttered.

"I read in the bible that humans are very curious and want to know everything. They even tried to build a tower to see heaven. How silly." She remarked, looking into his eyes.

He turned to her, putting his hand on her shoulder with a serious face.

"They are nothing like us. We are honest and don't deceive people," he assured her.

"But the dream came like a vision to me. Um, It sounded like someone was trying to communicate with me in the dream. It felt real. I don't know if you believe me." She said with a sad expression.

"Don't think too much about the dream. It was just a dream; your brain formulated it. Come here," he said, and wrapped his hand around her, pulling her closer to his chest. He stroked her hair firmly and his eyes turned green. She noticed that his eyes had changed color and pulled away from the hug with a frown.

"What are you trying to do?" She asked, frightened.

"Shh, I was just trying to erase the dream from your memory; you shouldn't be having such dreams," he muttered. She didn't feel the need to doubt him.

"Okay," she said, and rested her head on his chest.

It was late in the evening,

Lucifer carried Lucinda in his arms and kicked open the door of her room. He placed her on the bed, staring at her beautiful face. She was clutching his hand. He felt the urge to lie with her. He wanted to devour her. She had come of age, but he controlled himself and dragged the duvet up over her body, covering her properly. He kissed her softly on the forehead.

"Good night, my queen," he said

"Good night," she muttered, smiling at him. Her smile could light up the world. He watched her as she drifted to sleep. She turned to the other side of the bed. He walked out of her room and shut the door.

"I hope she doesn't have such a dream again. Is the powerful man of God trying to speak to

her, to free her from my clutches? I can't let that happen." Lucifer thought with a frown.

and went to his chamber.

The next day,

Lucinda and Medusa were walking in the field of hell side by side, talking about humans. Lucinda couldn't help but greet all the demons that came their way. She was cheerful and respectful.

"Good morning, Agon." She greeted a male demon, bowing her head slightly. The demons didn't respond to her greetings; she was inferior to them, and she was greeting them.

"No, no, my queen, you don't need to greet me." One of the demons argued with her and walked away without waiting for a response. Lucinda's eyes softened as she turned to Medusa.

"You know, Medusa, sometimes I feel like I am different, and I don't belong here... because people here don't think like me." Lucinda poured her heart out to Medusa, who always gave her a listening ear, although she thought Lucinda was thinking too much and it would lead her to her own downfall.

"What makes you think that? You are just like us, I promise," Medusa assured, staring at Lucinda’s hair as it swept the ground, but it never got dirty.
