Chapter 2

Blake's POV

"Mate," I said as the beautiful girl in front of me lost consciousness. I immediately picked her up bridal style and began heading to the nurse's office.

"Where are you going?" Tanya, my girlfriend, asked, but I ignored her.

"Oh dear, what happened?" Tabatha, the nurse, asked.

"She passed out," I said as I placed her on a bed. I sat next to her moving her lengthy, black hair out of her face. I remembered her beautiful green eyes staring into mine when she walked in on me with Tanya, and I couldn't help but feel dirty from fucking her. I should never have been with Tanya or any other she-wolf. I should have waited for my Mate.

"Alpha Blake, if you don't mind me asking, is this girl your Mate?" Tabatha asked.

"Yes, she is," I said.

"Would you mind telling me what happened before she passed out?"

"She walked in on me being intimate with Tanya," I said, and Tabatha looked at me.

"She passed out because of the pain of seeing you with another female," Tabatha said.

"Will she be okay," I asked worriedly.

"Yes, but she is human. Don't take this the wrong way but do you plan on making her your Luna, or will you reject her?" Tabatha asked, and I growled at her.

"I would never reject her. She is my Mate, human or not," I growled in my Alpha tone.

"Of course, Alpha, I only asked because our Luna is human and saw you with another she-wolf. She knows nothing about Mates, and even though she will feel a connection with you, she won't understand why. Her seeing you with Tanya is only going to make it harder for you to convince her that she is destined to be with you," Tabatha said.

"What do you think I should do," I asked, knowing she was right.

"The only thing you can do is show her what she means to you. You will have to take things slower than if she was a wolf," Tabatha said.

"Thanks, Tabatha," I said, and Tabatha walked out of the room.

I sat next to my Mate, holding her hand. I was going to prove to her that she was mine and I would never hurt her.

"Where is my sister," I heard a familiar voice yell. I walked by the door and saw John talking to Tabatha.

"She is in here, Beta John," Tabatha said, and John began following her. He was shocked when he saw me standing by the doorway.

"What are you doing here?" John asked. I was shocked to find out that my Mate was his sister. John moved here two years ago when he first shifted, and his mom told him about werewolves and that his father was one.

I don't know the whole story, but I know he was upset with his mom for keeping all that away from him. His father lives in the Pack next door called Crescent Moon Pack. They don't talk because he is mad at his father for leaving his mom and him and his sister once he finds his Mate.

"I am the one that brought her to the nurse's office after she passed out," I said.

"What happened to her? Why did she pass out?" John asked.

"I need to talk to you about something but not in here," I said, and we walked out of his sister's room.

"Okay, what happened," John asked.

"Your sister is my Mate," I said.

"What?"

"Your sister is my Mate," I said again, and his face changed from shock to anger.

"That can't be. I will not let you hurt my sister,' John growled.

"I would never hurt your sister," I said calmly.

"You are a player, and I will not let you play, my sister."

"I have changed," I said, and he laughed.

"When did you change? Ten minutes ago, when you met my sister," he asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"You told me that you never wanted a mate and that when you met her, you would never change your ways for her," he said.

"I know what I said, John, and I was stupid. But, when I saw your sister for the first time today, I felt sick to my stomach for fucking Tanya or any other she-wolf. I promise if I had known how I would feel meeting her, I never would have said that," I said honestly.

"She has woken up," Tabatha said, and John and I instantly walked to my Mates room.

When we walked inside, her green eyes looked from John to me.

"How are you feeling, Aurora?" John asked.

"Aurora," I said to myself. She had the most beautiful name.

"I am fine, but I have a headache," Aurora said.

"I will give you something for that," Tabatha said and handed her two pills Aurora took with water.

"I think you should go home for the day and rest," Tabatha said.

"Why did I pass out? I have never passed out before," Aurora said worriedly.

"You are okay, dear; it was probably just from the stress of moving," Tabatha lied, and I was thankful for that. I didn't want John to know what really happened. He already hated the idea of me being his sister's Mate. He would try to kill me if he knew the real cause of her passing out.

"I will take you home a little bit," John said, and they walked out of the nurse's office.

I wanted to go with them but decided to give her some space. There were a few things that I needed to take care of before making Aurora mine.

And no matter what, she was going to be mine.
