Chapter 4

Blake's POV

"Blake, baby," I heard that annoying voice I never wanted to hear again. I looked up and saw Tanya standing by the table. I looked over and saw Aurora looking at Tonya and then at me. I could see the pain in her eyes, which made me feel bad.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Smith," Tanya said to my parents.

"Tanya," my mom said.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I was hungry and decided to stop here to get something to eat. I am happy that I did because I ran into you. Do you have room for me to sit and eat with you?" Tanya asked.

"Sure, Tanya," My mom said before I could respond.

"You don't mind if I sit next to my boyfriend, right John?" Tonya asked.

"Of course not, Tanya. He is your boyfriend, after all," John said, and I began to glare at him.

The waiter came, and everyone began eating their food. Brandy and Aurora were talking and getting to know each other. I could tell they would be great friends, which made me happy. My mom and dad also seemed to like Aurora. I haven't told anyone about her being my Mate yet, not even my parents. I planned on sitting with them when we got home to tell them about Aurora, and I was going to have a mandatory Pack meeting to let the Pack know that Aurora was my Mate and their future Luna. I knew everyone would be thrilled that I found my Mate. They wouldn't care that she was human; many werewolves had human Mates.

John was the only one I was worried about having a problem with it. He didn't seem happy when I told him about his sister being my Mate, which was understandable. I have repeatedly said I wouldn't let my Mate change my Playboy ways. I knew I would have to prove to him that I was serious about being with his sister. It is said that when a werewolf finds its Mate, they don't want anyone else romantically, and I never believed that until now.

"What are you thinking about, baby?" Tanya asked and placed her hand on my leg. The pleasure I usually felt from her touch was no longer there; instead, I felt dirty and disgusted. I quickly moved her hand off of my leg, which caused her to look at me with a confused expression.

"Are you alright, Blake?" Tanya asked.

"I need to talk to you alone," I said.

"Okay," Tanya said.

"Excuse us for a moment," I said, and Tanya and I walked out of the restaurant to talk.

"What's wrong, Blake? You are acting strange," Tanya asked.

"We need to break up," I said.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because this isn't working anymore," I said.

"You don't mean that, Blake. I love you," She said, shocking me.

"Tanya, I am sorry, but I don't love you," I said.

"Is this about that girl that walked in on us in the bathroom? The girl you were sitting by in the restaurant?" Tanya asked.

"It doesn't matter, Tanya. You and I are over," I said. I didn't want to tell Tanya about Aurora yet. Tanya was known to threaten any female that came my way. I was never faithful to her; she knew that and would find ways to chase away any other female I was or wanted to be intimate with. I might sound like a jackass, but I didn't care what she did to all the girls I cheated on her with because they meant nothing to me, but Aurora was different. She was my Mate, and I would kill anyone that tried to hurt her.

"Whatever. You will be back, Blake. You always come back," Tanya said.

"Not this time Tanya. We are over," I said.

After our conversation, I walked back into the restaurant and was annoyed when Tanya returned to our table. I looked over at Aurora and saw that she had a sad expression on her face.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I am fine. I have a little headache," Aurora said, making me feel worried.

"Would you like me to take you home?" John asked.

"I am fine. You are still eating," Aurora said.

" I am done. We are going to leave early because Aurora isn't feeling well," John said.

"I can take her," I replied and didn't miss when Tanya looked at me upset.

"That is unnecessary. I will take my sister home," John almost growled.

"Okay, I hope you feel better tomorrow Aurora," My mom said, and John and Aurora left the restaurant.

"Mom, I am going to go home. I am not feeling that well myself," I said.

"Can I ride with you?" Brandy asked.

"Of course, little sis. Come on."

"I will come with you too," Tanya said.

"That is unnessasary. Besides, you drove your car here," I said.

"I can pick it up later," Tanya said.

"No, Tanya, you are not going home with me," I said.

"But Blake," she started, but I cut her off.

"That's Alpha Blake to you, Tanya," I growled.

Everyone looked at me with shocked expressions on their faces. I know everyone was shocked. I told Tanya no because usually, I would take her home and to my bed. But now I had a Mate, and the only woman I wanted was her. Brandy and I left the restaurant and got in the car.

"She is your Mate, isn't she?" Brandy asked.

"What," I asked, shocked.

"Aurora, she is your Mate."

"You are very observant, Lil sis," I said.

"Be careful. Tanya is a bitch and would do anything to keep any female away from you. Aurora is human and won't be able to fight Tonya off," Brandy said.

"I know, and I won't let anything happen to her," I replied.

"One more thing. Aurora is a good person and my friend. If you hurt her, I will hurt you," Brandy said, and I looked at my sister and smiled.

"I will never hurt her, Brandy. She is already my world," I said, and I meant it.
