Intro and Excerpt

Legend tells tales of creatures—sometimes lions, sometimes other beasts, but most often, wolves—that can change shape, and walk as men.

Legend says that this gift, or curse, granted them the reasoning of men, the instinct of wolves, and a strength far surpassing either species.

Legend states that this fusion of man and beast, immune to all harm towers over mere mortals, powerful beyond imagining.

INTRO.

Deep in the mountains, far beyond the valley and way across the rivers, is a huge 'world' that occupies acres and acres of land, a home for Changelings, called Naturiah.

Changelings are 'people' who can take on the form of an animal. Leopard, mountain lions, werewolf, deer, swan, rat, cat, and a lot others.

There are two most powerful Changelings in Naturiah. These two species are the werewolves and the mountain lions—also called Cougars.

For centuries, these two Changelings has been enemies, fighting for dominance over other species. These two creatures are feared by all. They are Predators. They live among humans, like humans. But...more.

Fangs, sharper than tungsten needle, that can tear through a prey's skin in one single bite.

Claws stronger than the best katana swords that can shred an enemy into pieces in one single strike.

Furs, softer than a nursing mother's bréasts that whoever they let close enough to feel their furs cling to it and find it hard to let go.

These two species stayed enemies for so long until two centuries ago, the werewolves and the mountain lions managed to not only make peace with each other, but every pack and clan came together to coexist like one.

They signed a peace treaty that was never broken, and the mountain lions stepped back for the werewolves to take up leadership of the land of Naturiah.

New rules were made for the betterment of the land. Outside their lands, they shove down most of their basic instincts for a better coexistence with humans, but in their lands, they do not suppress who they are.

Powerful. Fearless. Highly Séxual. Instinctive. Dominant. Predators.

There are rumors...

Whispers around in secret.

Murmurs in pitch darkness. Of the most powerful 'man' in Naturiah.

The most fearsome creature. The fiercest predator Naturiah ever has. A man who is the 'impossible'.

Rumors has it that his powers and strength not only surpass that of all 'men' but there's are nothing compared to his.

He is their Alpha.

Most species has an Alpha, but this 'man' is the Alpha of all Alphas. The ultimate Alpha.

The Alpha King.

They think him god.

He is respected like one.

He is feared like one.

They call him god.

Because, he is a crossbreed between the two most powerful creatures.

He has the strength of a mountain lion and the power of a werewolf.

He can take the form of a mountain lion or a werewolf. Or a man.

Why?

Because, he is a werewolf AND a mountain lion.

His name is Wolfariane Daminor Throne.

The Alpha King of Naturiah.

🍄EXCERPT FROM THE BOOK.🍄

"I can smell you. Find me before I find you, female." Voice deep like the fierecest ocean filled the air.

"Go away!" Ismena squeaked from the bathroom where she'd hidden herself. He's not close to her but she can practically hear him like he's whispering to her ear.

Gosh, the man scares the very devils outta her. And that's saying something because she doesn't scare easily.

"I can hear the racing of your heart. The quick shaky breaths you take. The smell of your fear is choking." The predator in him loves it. Nothing smells better like a prey's fear.

No, there's one thing that does smell better.

"What do you want from me!?" She shouted behind the door's thick heavy barricades.

Silence descended. The house was suddenly too quiet that for a moment, Ismena considered that he has left.

Then, the door burst open.

Before she could react, he has her caged to a wall, his towering body blanketing her, successfully shutting out any chance of escape she might have had.

Ismena raised her head and stared up, up, up, up—gosh, the man is so tall!—to the deepest amber-eyes she has ever seen in her life.

A random thought: Wasn't this eyes blue few days—weeks—ago? She was almost sure it's blue. Shit, is her sight going before her heart shuts down!?

"Found you." His deep voice was hard, yet it caressed her skin. His face was too close to hers. And yet, he is still scowling at her.

Does this man ever NOT frown? It gives 'intimidating' a whole new meaning.

Ismena cleared her throat, "Look, I know stealing is bad and all. Frankly, I never intented to take your ring without consent, but that diamond was really calling out to me. Tried to ignore it and all that, but I couldn't! It was too sparkly and screamed 'so much money.' What's a girl gotta do?" she cleared her throat again, "Look, if you'll just turn a blind eye to it. You're a rich man and all that. Or, if you'll just let me go, just this once, I will—"

"You will do what?" The groan was to her ear. He inhaled deeply.

He's sniffing her neck! "I'll most definitely not steal again, that I can assure you."

A pause. A harder scowl. "Do you know what smells better than fear?"

She has no idea what he means, but she managed to squeak, "What...?"

"Lùst. Desire." He spat the words like it tastes bad, "The scent of your wetness is driving me insane. I can practically taste your hunger for my cóck."

But then, he shocked them both—hell, even the poor equipments in her bathroom.

With a savage growl, his head lowered completely and his mouth crashed down to hers.
