THE FIRST HIT!

After Asher had tried his best to explain to her she finally gave in, what they were saying made sense to her so she had to make sure she made them tell her the plan.

“Asher?” she called out and he could hear her even before she thought about it within the blink of an eye he was in the room they had placed her in.

“Can I see my parents now? And I want you to know that I would be super elated if you all were true to me and not lie about anything to me” She said and Asher nodded his head and told his Beta to go and make sure Edgar and Lilian were back to the room where they stood and within minutes she was in the midst of her parents.

They apologized to her and she told them everything was fine so long as she was told everything.

The trio looked at each other before looking at her.

“She’s old enough to know what she wants she can very well be of help right now” Edgar, her father said.

“There is another set of wolves called the moon chasers and they are part of the prophecy, they are looking for the LAST MOON GODDESS which by the way, is you Lidien and have been trying our best this past three years to stop them from getting to you because of the mark you have on your left arm is what they are looking for,” Edgar explained and Asher took over.

“For time immemorial they have been killing the young females who were born in the year ninety-five and if we didn’t send you away, I wouldn’t have my mate and your parents would not have you standing here right now. They are probably still out there and could attack at any moment from now” he said to her.

“And if I am to believe this you all have trained the pack warriors for this fight for those three years?” Lidien Macy asked.

“Legend has it that you can help with everything that is going on and you have by the mark on your arm you would have to train them and all of us better,” Asher said.

“But I have got no powers yet” Lidien responded in a worried tone.

“We all would help you that’s why you have us” Lilian responded to her. And just as they were discussing, the Beta mind signalled Asher there was some trouble out the pack and there were some intruders who had come with weapons sting they knew the last moon goddess might have been found.

“The moon Chasers are here, Lidien you have got to hide” Asher trying to get Wade to take her to a safe place because he was not ready to lose her yet.

“Asher, I would love to say I want to fight, they are looking for me and I am putting on a long sleeve dress and they wouldn’t know I am the one” she pleaded who could say no to that when Ash his wolf had been saying “let our mate fight with us” he tried shutting Ash away but he wouldn’t go away.

There was no time to waste so he decided to do what Ash was saying even if it meant a bad idea. Everyone transformed into a big wolf while Wade just sat beside her, Lidien so wanted that but it seemed the mother goddess had just not wanted her to experience that now.

Wade was to make sure she was safe as usual he was her protector.

The fight was gruesome as the Moon Chasers were no match for the Winslet moon pack, they fought hard and Asher made sure he had his eyes on the woman his heart was drawn to he tore the other pack members with no mercy his canines where all over their necks with his Beta being full force to make sure that they were going to make sure no other person was hurt.

Meanwhile, when all of this was happening, Lidien was having voices in her head, it was like a legion saying, “The forest…” the voice chanted in her head she couldn’t take it in.

Asher was tearing the last piece of flesh he had gotten from the moon chasers when he realized that his mate might just be going through a trance.

The moon chasers had run away after they found that the Winslet Pack was way stronger than they could imagine and they ran after two of their fighters had been taken hostage and almost twenty of them were laying down with their throats slit open.

“The forest my child, move to the forest and there you shall find the answers you want” the voice was chanting like a mantra, Wade proceeded to hold her back but she was not being stopped how could he stop her?

She was going as though she was going to a place where she knew.

“Listen, where are you going to?” Asher asked as he transformed into his human form pure naked and began chasing his mate on the forbidden path no one had dared to ever tread.

His dick dangling in the air but he didn’t care, all Asher wanted was to stop his mate the last person who went in there was the last Luna who had been considered the last moon goddess she had entered there and she had never even for one time shown her face out of the forest so he could not understand why she was going into the forest.

“Listen, stop don’t go in there, his Beta went on to give him some clothing to cover his nakedness but it was not working he just wanted to be his mate’s saviour right now.

“Wake up Lidien, wake up,” Asher said as he held her and shook her out of her reverie she turned and realized that her mate and best friend were before her and not just that she had even noticed he was naked.

“Asher what are you doing?” she asked coming out of shaken state and the voices all gone turning to look around her she realized they were carrying the last body away from where she stood and the hostages and then to make matters worse she noticed her mate had his dick hanging lose and the entire warriors both male and female looking at him some even ogling at him. If she was not having difficulties in transforming she would have their heads before she came back to her senses.

Asher could feel the energy of jealousy from his mate and he sure knew that he was naked only when she looked down at his naked feature.

Just then his Beta came and wrapped a towel around his waist, that had to do for the time being because she could feel her blood boiling and the next would be her attack.

There was no way everybody in the pack didn’t know they were not mates everyone knew that they were mates and they were sure the first love birds who had been roaming the entire Winslet moon pack when they were teenagers.

Everyone thought she was a strange werewolf who had a weird-looking mark, didn’t have a scent and could not transform as most of them did, because even the youngest of werewolf pups could already transform into their various werewolves.

“Are you okay?” Asher asked her and instead of responding she asked him the same question because she saw a wound on his arm the moment she asked and touched his wounded area it healed instantly from her touch, causing everyone around her to gasp because this was new. They had never seen something like this and not to talk of the fact that they had seen from a woman who had been considered a weird child. Indeed she was a strange child.

Once they had gotten into the house and the chaos had died down and the pack cleaned to its normal Edgar, Lilian, Asher and Lidien sat down with Asher’s Beta Mason seated to ask what had happened and why Lidien had been walking towards the forbidden forest side. The pack seer was called and when he was called he came and said the one thing no one would have expected.

Seated in a circle and instructed by the seer he said,

”The Luna would have to go into the forbidden forest for she is the only one who can go and make sure she would get the ideas of what is to help with the prophecy,” the seer said.

“Never she would never go into that place because the last person who went in there never returned and you expect me to let her go in there?” he asked the seer frantically.

“I second that motion, my daughter has been out of our lives to be saved from this great prophecy and now you want me to let her go away to where she can never return?” Edgar said looking at the seer.

“No, she isn’t going anywhere?” Lilian said in a shaky voice she was a mother who just wanted a mother-daughter relationship with her and not has to think of something bad happening all the time.

“Please you all don’t talk about me as though I am not seated here, the feeling I had a while back was unusual and I feel like I want to be in that forest, and I want to know what is there that was calling me, I want to go in there,” Lidien said.

“Listen you don’t have to be a child and you don’t have to go in there please listen to me,” Lilian said in a shaky voice still.

“I am not being a child mother and I turned twenty-one already what do you want me to say I want to find out what is going on and save my people like the real Luna I am,” she said trying to make them understand calmly.

“If I am accepted to say anything I think we can let the Luna decide this now because we sure are looking for a way to solve this prophecy we all fear,” Beta Mason said to all of them and Asher tried to mind link Mason not to make him say yes but he couldn’t deny the fact that Mason was blocking him.

Ash was warning in his mind saying that he shouldn’t let their mate go anywhere.

“She has to go in there and make everything fine because everything is going to be well when she goes there she would find answers and she would return,” the seer said.

“When do I go in there dear seer?” Lidien Macy asked, not wanting to look at her mother’s face which screamed, scared and not wanting her daughter to go in there.

“Edgar, why aren’t you saying anything?” Lilian tried pursuing her husband to tell his daughter from making the mistake of going into the dungeon of death.

“You shall need a certain ritual for at least two weeks so that you shall be fortified to meet the spirits in there who are going to help you handle the prophecy issues, that would have to take place and purify our pack from all of this,” the seer said.

Asher hearing this looked at his mate intently and then he went on to make it a mental note that he would try his best to make sure that he would make sure she changed her mind while on it.

“Okay that’s fine, we would make sure by then she would be perfectly fine and in good health to carry out the ritual as you have said” Asher assured and Wade could only stand and be a protector.

Everyone was on the same slate facially but they were all bothered deep down they wouldn’t be able to cope with everything that was happening but they had to make sure that they would all support her on her decision.
