Chapter 7

"Come with me," he said, and holding his hand, he pushed it forth for she to hold it.

she knew she didn't want to go, but her heart longed for this man, she wished they were still teenagers and she could simply hold and hug him as much as he wants it.

Well, that wouldn't happen, so she can as well remove those thoughts from her mind, not wanting it to be this obvious.

"Where to?" she asked, then feeling offended that she was making the man wait that long, she pushed forth her hand and placed it on his own.

"I don't know, what if I make a proper apology over dinner?" he asked leading the way to his black escalade.

It was the latest version, always nice how he made himself comfortable, and sneaking through it can't be any better than what is there already.

She wasn't going to complain, it was dark and her stomach grumbled in the process, she closed her eyes, and even as she blinked severally, trying it to pass off this way, he managed to make it certain.

"Alright, I am famished," the young man said in a squeaky manner.

"Me too," he said.

She laughed lightly, and he started smiling as well.

It can't be any better now, she just focused herself on walking and when the car door was opened, she entered the car and put on her seatbelt.

No one said anything throughout the ride, and she just looked away for a while. They had pulled out of the central hospital and were heading towards heaven knows where. She stole a glance at he just when he was doing the same, their eyes met and she was so fast in looking away.

It was the embarrassment that almost killed her.

"You have two options," he called out talking to the lady as if he was her boss__ of course, he was.

"What are they?" the young lady questioned.

"Either you get into the car and I take you home, or you follow me to the eatery so that I can make it up to you," the young man said softly.

There was no reason for her to say it, the worst part was having to look at her and waiting for a miracle.

"You are the boss, don't get me hooked up on anything, and do not give me an option," the lady spat out.

All that he didn't make mention of such things at all, it was so budding, the least things that made it awkward as she shut her eyes and make it awkward.

"Can you do anything for me?" he said sniffing.

she was going to speak but she stopped to think of the effects of what might go wrong, even if it has to.

"What do you want me to do for you?" she asked her eyes sparkling with tears.

She wasn't going to be a cry baby nor was she going to shed any tears, but if she has to do, she just closed her eyes and waited for the bomb that was added to it.

'Goodness heaven, why did you look at him, her?' she asked herself throwing her head throwing behind as she released a slow moan i

"You look so nervous," he asked roughly.

His eyes were still on road, he made a tangled sound down his throat, it was demeaning, but he knew exactly how to make it right.

Being rude was just an attitude he adopted along the line, he was still scared of being a bully, it can't get any better now with him being alongside her.

"I am nervous. I don't know you, and I shouldn't be letting you take me to any dinner," the young lady said.

His chuckled. She frowned.

She didn't know why the man did that but she was being candid when she said she was nervous.

The drive was a short one, they were at a small eatery and it was insane to think about it.

"Why are you acting like you don't know me?" the question popped out of his mouth.

She froze in instantly. This is something that made it sniffy in a way, she didn't want it to make it suffer, and it might not be like this.

"I don't know you," she shot out staying calm.

Her heart was pounding her out, she wasn't going to tell this man anything, but it got out of her mind, it was like nothing that has something she rolled he eyes off to it.

He did not say anything, what he did was remove his seat belt and get out of the car. He rounded the car and opened her side of the car.

She went out and looked away. He could swear that she was that girl he was madly obsessed with in school.

She didn't know why her feet were glued to the ground but she found it hard to move, she tried but it was always a failed discussion, she finally closed her eyes, and even when she opened them, she averted it with all of her strength. It isn't worth it at all.

He was the pushful type, he was going to get the reply he wanted and now.

Lifting his hand, he used the tip of his index finger and his thumb to grab the chin of the woman softly, nudging it with his pressure until he was staring at him.

"Het?" he called out warmly.

She was stroked with silence as he closed his eyes, these are things she isn't faced with, she wasn't also good at lying, but then, she had one choice, to speak out the truth.

"Yes, then..." she started speaking, but the words failed out of her mouth.

He was silent, he just got to arrange his thoughts because they wouldn't get better in case it got any worse. Leaning close to the lady, he said,

"I know who you are, so don't hide the truth from me," he said slowly.

She was so damn stroke by what he said. The first thing that went through her mind was to deny it, there was no point in refusing it because the young man knew the truth already.

"Let me go," she managed to say but the words didn't come out correctly.

It was more of ragged, there are several things that could go on if she did accept her identity, He could taunt her or more, and the past could replay itself, but in a more romantic way, she doesn't want such a fate, but it only seems to be that promising.

He did not move, his eyes wondered against the lady's own faintly, it was crazy just being that way, and the mere fact that his imagination was getting the best out of her even made it complicated.

"No, not until you reply to my question," the young man said sticking to his words.

She felt a sharp pain hit through her head, it was weird though, but she managed to close her eyes, it did not actually feel right, but the least she could do was make it sound offensive.

"What was that?" she asked pretending not to know what the man is talking about.

That was it, he glared at her faintly, his eyes burned through her face and he used his maleness to dominate her, it couldn't have been any better than the way it is right now.

"Do not intimidate me," she shot out.

Her gullibility made the young man nudge further, he had the determination to strike until he had a reply and it doesn't take how long or fast that would cost, all he needed was the truth.

He pushed closer to her, making sure that he doesn't push out too far to make it personal because that will not be good, not at all.

He sighed, saw the fear in her eyes, and knew that it was the chance for him to shoot his question once more.

"Are you..., my... from...?" the young man included raising his brows squarely at the lady.

A lump formed in the lady's throat, she didn't want to say anything, it was insane in how she felt, that was crazy, and sweeping her attention to the ground, she burst out crying as she nodded her head faintly.

Her display of emotions was too much.
