Chapter 3: Who Are You?

Naomi Jamieson POV

I woke up the next morning and realized I was not in my room but an old abandoned room filled with dust, cobwebs and a coffin alongside a bottle of an empty drink..

Oh my God, how did I get in here? I screamed when I saw a spider climbing my body and I ended up jumping on a guy’s body shouting, “Please help me, I hate spiders, help me please.”

“Get off me right this moment before I tear you apart.” I got frightened by him but I pretended not to be so scared.

“Hey mister, can’t you be nice?”

He scoffed, “Listen mate, even if you are destined to be my mate, I will never accept you, I reject you today, I am Alpha Aiden…” He paused like he was trying to remember his surname then I busted into a serious laughter.

“Are you serious right now? Do I look like an animal to you? I can never be your mate even if we are animals, I will be the first to reject you, what are you by the way? Your dressing sense is so old and damn, you need a bath.” I said still laughing and he gripped me by the neck as I struggled with him.

“Let go of me, you are harming me.” He raised me up with just a grip from the floor and I could not feel my legs anymore, his eyes were so red and I thought I was going to die then he dropped me, holding his neck and looked like he panicked a bit then he said, “How on earth can this happen to me?”

I managed to get myself back and I yelled, “Are you human? Who on his right senses grips a lady like that? Do you plan to kill me?”

He moved closer to me and I took a step back and I ended up with my back at the wall and he smelt me saying, “Who are you? You are just a human and not a werewolf, how can you be my mate? Why can’t I kill you?”

“Yes I am a human and I feel you need a doctor because you might actually be crazy, can you let me go now?”

“Answer me, who are you?” His voice frightened me. How can a handsome man like him behave this way?

“Okay fine, my name is Naomi Jamieson.”

“What did you do to me? All I remember was you kissing me.”

“Wait a second, kiss you? You must be dreaming, I only kissed Lucas.”

“You reeked of alcohol, you kissed me and fell asleep on my body, I could have killed you but I decided to place you there to sleep properly, now tell me who are you? What did you do with my memories?”

I tried to remember what happened last night and when I did, I almost cried, I kissed a stranger, so foolish of me, there must be a way I can avoid him at all cost before he rapes me.

I thought of a plan I can make use of to escape, I distracted him thinking it would work but he caught me, I got vexed saying, “Let go of me right now and remain here till I finally leave this place.”

I noticed he obeyed my words, so I ran out before he changed his mind to kill me.

I came out of the place and was surprised. I was in a forest. How on earth did I get in here?

I did my best to find my way out but it was not possible. I spent hours and the worst part was that my phone was dead. Why is everything happening today?

I finally found my way out of the place and saw the road. I was so happy and walked for miles till I got so exhausted and sat on the ground.

I rested for a few minutes and resumed walking again till I saw lots of vehicles moving about and I begged for a ride, luckily I got one and I entered the car.

“Take me to Better Day Academy please, I am late for work.”

“What happened to you mate? You look so stressed and rough.” He said and I looked at him properly wondering what he just said to me, maybe I didn’t hear him very well so I asked him, “What did you just call me?”

“Mate, but how is this possible? You are a human, I have waited for a long time to have a mate but I least expected to see a human.”

“Okay, I think I am done for today, I just need to get a good sleep and wake up without remembering a thing that happened today, can you please just shut up and drive, not a word till I leave this car.” I yelled and didn’t know why I placed words that way but I like the fact I became bossy.

While he was driving, I saw Lucas' new pictures he uploaded with his new girlfriend. I felt jealous and angry, “Lucas you are an asshole and I will make sure, I ruin your wedding, just watch and see.”

I looked at the guy driving saying, “Are you really not going to talk because I ask you not to? You know what, never mind just take me to work.” I said placing my ear piece on but something strange happened to me when my eyes landed on his lips, it prompted my memory and the kiss I had with the stranger played in my head.

Did I really kiss a guy in a coffin? What if he is truly dead and I was communicating with a ghost? Oh God, I think I am losing my senses, I need to be calm, get to work, bathe at the female hostel and apologize to the principal for coming late and after which I get a good sleep.

I got down from the car, paid the driver and expected a thank you. He just smiled at me, still not talking, and I guess he is so obedient.

On my way to the student hostel, I saw the principal having a terrible argument and asking about me. Thank goodness Fred lied. I heard him telling the principal I felt sick so it’s time to go home and fake the illness.

I took another taxi home and had a great bath, took some flakes to sleep.

At midnight, I heard some strange noise that made me step out of my house to check my surroundings. I encountered a big red wolf, and I ran out of breath and passed out.
