Hera is eighteen and has never been in a relationship her entire life. Although pretty, she is only known by her oversized hoodies and glasses.

Baek is a hot, sexy, god of death. Heartless, cold and immortal. All he has ever done is take lives and send the souls where they belong. When it is time for Baek to take the lives of nine students of Trevor's High, he has to spend three days as a student of the school and watch his preys. He bumps into Hera and after staring at her olive grey eyes and fixing her broken glasses, Baek feels strangely pulled to the weird funny girl. He realizes she is going to be one of the student whose lives he has to take in three days time, he feels hurt. An emotion he has not felt for hundreds of years. When it is the third day and Baek has to take the lives of the students during a bus crash on their way to a field trip, he discovers he cannot take Hera's life and so, he sends her into limbo. A life that is neither alive, nor dead.
