PROLOGUE
"Another business trip?" Seb greeted me when I entered the coffee shop where I was staying before.
Not anymore because I've been too busy... and too much has happened.
I felt my mood calm down when I smelled coffee. I sat down on the counter chair and lowered myself.
“I don't want to go anymore. If only I could.”
“Then, don’t go. It's still up to you, Astraea. You don't need that anymore because you are really good in that profession,” he told me seriously then handed me the cup of coffee.
I sniffed it quietly before drinking it slowly. It's been a long time since I tasted his coffee. I'm not used to other coffees because my love for coffee came to life when I tasted their product here. Sebastian is really a good barista. This shop belongs to him so he has no problem being a barista.
"I honestly need this..." I said to the air.
"For what?" I heard him ask me.
"To forget, I guess," I answered him unconciously.
I heard he laugh. I ignored that because I knew he was just teasing me.
I want to forget, yes.
“To forget? Really? E, it seems that every time you go on a business trip or vacation trip, you remember him. Tagging along with a stranger, huh?” It was a long speech so I was even more frustrated.
He's right. He has a point. Where did it all start? On a vacation trip. Where it all ended, on the vacation trip. But has anything started? How can I say something is over?
It's been a month... six month I guess since I last saw him. In that area. Under the heavy rain. Under that magic. I don’t know how it makes me feel. I don’t know if I’m hurting or what, but fuck it! Who the fool would fall for a stranger who's until now still could not be forgotten.
I don't know him. I don't know his name. I don't know his past... don't I really know? Or am I just pretending I didn’t know because I still can’t accept? I do not know.
“Fate is something... funny. You can play with it. Who knows, after six months... something magically will happen again,” Sebastian uttered.
Magic my ass. No way.
