Chapter 3 - Paternity Test

The first thing he had to do was a paternity test to find out whether the child was his or not.

After everything was ready, the doctor came over and prepared to draw the amniotic fluid. After Simon finished drawing the blood, he took the initiative to come over and watch Jennifer, fearing that she would do something to resist.

With Simon's confinement, she naturally did not dare to move around and could only followed what they said.

Jennifer knew that she could only be free during the paternity test.

After the doctor took the sample, Simon said: "please give us the results as quickly as possible."

The doctors and nurses rushed out of the ward, not wanting to spend another moment in operating room, which is cold as the ice.

This is just the beginning of the end of the abyss for Jennifer.

The operating room is silent, Simon is sitting next to him playing with his mobile phone, Jennifer doesn't know whether to move or not, so she can only lie down on bed and continue to sleep, while Diana can only sit by the side and keep watch.

All was terribly quiet, Jennifer fell asleep in a daze, and when she woke up again, her stomach kept rumbling uncontrollably.

Simon was no longer in the operating room, so she got out of bed and wanted to go out for something to eat, but before she could take two steps out, she was called by someone behind her.

She turned around and saw the smiling face of Harris.

"What are you going to do, Jennifer?"

"Have a meal."

Jennifer didn't want to be polite with such a smiling woman, so she said two words to her and wanted to leave. But Diana didn't comply and stepped in front of her with her high heels.

"I want to talk with you."

"What can I have to talk about with Simon's fiancée?"

"But I do."

Diana changed her usual dainty look and suddenly became aggressive, with a bit of jealousy and resentment in her eyes, "I don't want you to bother me and Simon anymore, if you want money you can come to me, please don't bother us."

Jennifer felt angry and funny when she saw Diana's look, and said reluctantly: "I was pestering Simon? I tell you, I am short of money, but Simon, he is the last person I want to see in my life. If you can tell him to leave me alone, then I'd really like that."

"You!"

"All right." Jennifer was really hungry, so she waved her hand and interrupted her, "If you don't let me go now, when Simon comes later, your wish will be even more unfulfilled."

"Where are you going?" Before Jennifer could break it off with Diana, Simon, holding the identification sheet, walked over with a cold face.

"Jennifer, you must give me an explanation today."

" For what." Jennifer looked back and saw appraisal sheet in Simon's hands, so she knew that what was coming.

"The baby is mine?"

"So what if it's yours?"

"Then why did you lie to me?" Simon was actually not too angry at this result, but how could he allow the woman to cheat him, even if she was the one he dumped?

However, when he saw Jennifer leaving with such disgust, a trace of displeasure rose in, and even his tone was tainted with anger.

Diana was afraid that Simon would overhear what she had just said, so she hastily held Jennifer's hand and said in a warm voice, " Jennifer, pay attention to the fetus, since it has been identified as Simon's baby, I will definitely treat him/her like my own child and ensure that he/she will not be wronged."

Jennifer just ignored Diana's sycophantic gesture, so she gave her a look and shook off her hand. Looking at Simon, she said fiercely: "I'm not obliged to tell you the truth, and besides, I will not let this child be born."

Seeing her like this, Simon really wanted to tie her up and throw her into the warehouse, but Jennifer then said, "Let you know what it would feel like if you lose loved ones."

Simon did not know what she was talking about, nor did he understand how she could suddenly become so hateful towards herself after not seeing her for a fortnight.

But Jennifer couldn't forget that if he wasn't so cruel and heartless, she and her brother wouldn't have been driven to the brink of extinction.

"Since you hate me so much," Simon suddenly moved closer, his powerful aura making her back away step by step, "Well, then I'll let you hate me even more."

With that, Simon picked up Jennifer and went downstairs, throwing her into the car or not letting go of his hand no matter how much she beat and scolded him.

"I will not allow you to leave here." Simon locked her into a room in his villa and ordered many people to look after and monitor her.

When she thought of the life without freedom, Jennifer was filled with reluctance and she kept kicking the door to vent her anger, but no one paid any attention to her.

"Simon, let's wait and see."

She shouted at the door, but Simon suddenly opened the door, with a knowing smile, but it was flushed with a hint of weirdness.
