Chapter 6 -Every step is a trap
But Diana, she seemed to play the long game, coming every day, and kept praising the bruising medicine she had delivered as being miraculously effective, telling Jennifer to remember to use it.
Jennifer suddenly thought of the dramas where some deep-minded harem concubines would often add musk or other things that could cause miscarriages to their topical pills, so the more she looked at it, the more frightening she was.
She shook her head, even if Diana was annoying, she wouldn't be so blatant
Although she wanted to die, not in this way, and she kill herself and complete their story, come on, she was not a fool.
After the hunger strike plan was overturned, Jennifer could only secretly pour out the fetus-soothing soup sent by her nanny every day. What she had to do was to grind the patience of Simon a little bit so that he will let herself go.
On this day, she still turned around to pour the medicine near the window while the nanny was out, but she always felt a silhouette wandering. It was such a bright day, and she didn't want to scare herself, so she lay in bed again and read a book as if nothing was wrong, but what she did was found by Diana who came secretly to pry.
A small smile curved her lips, Diana had come up with another plan.
She stepped on her high heels and waddled off to find the nanny, smilingly instructing, "I'm afraid you guys don't know yet, Miss Louise has never drunk the soup you sent, do you think you'll not be responsible for that if Simon finds out about this?"
When the nanny heard this, she was so scared that she begged for Diana's help, while her had a deeper resentment towards Jennifer.
Diana beckoned, gesturing for them to lean over, "I can tell this to Simon and explain it to Simon, but keep your mouths shut and don't reveal anything about what I've done, got it?"
The nanny was also a sensible person, and if Miss Louise could anger Mr. Barry and be turned herself out of the house, they both would no longer have to serve this master, so they readily agreed.
Diana saw this with a smile of determination and took out a packet of medicine from her bag and handed it to the nanny: "When Mr. Barry comes back in the evening and boils another bowl of medicine, just put this in it, I will help you stay out of anything that happens."
After everything was ready, Diana went straight to Simon's office and gave him a back rub and shoulder squeeze, which made Simon relax a lot.
"Why are you coming over now, what's happened?"
"Simon, I have one thing, I don't know if I should say ......" Diana muttered and mumbled, pretending to look like she was in a difficult situation, making people feel for her.
"Tell me, who's bullying you?"
"That's not really true, it's mostly about Jennifer......"
"What's wrong with her?"
As soon as Simon heard the name, he unconsciously frowned, and that good-looking face became moody.
"Actually, it's nothing, it's just that I accidentally saw ...... when I went to visit her today"
Diana hesitated in speaking, Simon lost his patience with effusive displeasure and said, "What did you see?"
"Jennifer, she took the medicine that the nanny had made and poured it all out, how could she do that, she was so weak and ......"
Before Diana could finished her conversation, Simon slapped the document on the table, got up with his jacket and went straight out the door, Diana gave a triumphant smile and then twisted her waist to follow.
When Simon was driving, he could not wait to reach the villa in one step, he wanted to see if this woman, Jennifer , what she could do!
With furious, he entered the door and went straight to the kitchen, where he saw the medicine already simmering and brought it over himself.
"You're so good at putting on a show every day? Can't you stop for a moment?" Simon walked up to Jennifer, put the medicine bowl on the table then turned around and pulled her up with a cold look in his eyes.
"What does these have anything with you?
It is my freedom to take medicine or not, it's none of your business, if you have the guts to let me die" Jennifer swept a glance at Diana and the nanny outside the door and knew what was going on; indeed, where there were women, there would be right and wrong.
"If you want to die, all right, but please wait until my son is born, you have no right to deprive him of his right to live.
If you ever harm your body again and any harm should come to my child, the freedom, for you, will only be a dream"
"Heh." Jennifer snorted coldly and said contemptuously, "Do you think I'm still that gullible?
Even if I give birth to this child , will you let me go?
Simon, I know you very well."
"You want to refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit, Jennifer, I ask you one more time, this medicine, drink it or not."
In a few seconds, Simon had lost all patience and picked up the soup on the table and poured it into Jennifer's mouth, no matter how she struggled.
