Chapter 5

What was there was too big and wild to be a dress or even a pile of fruits. I moved closer, i stepped my foot in a moist liquid in the soil. I bent towards it and i already knew it was blood. I could tell from the smell. I knew it was mom's, without even checking the body in the thorns. I could feel it already.

Now what's left to live for? Mother's gone, no perfect prince to spend the rest of my life with. Now, nothing else awaits me but death.

I said as i purposely fell into the midst of the thorns, as they pierced through my heart and whole body.

Life exciting my body. Nothing else but emptiness.

Dark white shut the book she had been reading for about five days. After she had overheard sofie's story from other villagers, so she decided to check if her father's library contained something about her.

Dark rose sighed in discomfort as she still wasn't satisfied with what she had read. She got up and moved around the room still wanting to know more about what had happened to sofie.

"Was it really her mother that died?" Was the question that kept on popping in Dark whites head.

Dark white, a young witch, the daughter of a cursed wizard whom the whole village hated with so much passion. Dark white's father was burnt into ashes right before her eyes and she was threatened to be killed too if she chooses to continue where her father had stopped.

The fact that her father had been killed right before her eyes, gave her the urge and encouragement to avenge him and make daddy proud.

A forever prince, is what she has also ever wanted, but princes keep running away from her just because she has been tagged being a witch and she's also not ready to stop being one.

She decided to work as hard as she could to have a man she could call hers but she didn't directly get one. "Edward" who saw the shinny blue beauty in her eye balls and the glowing of her white skin and the softness of her black long hair, the uniqueness in her voice and the power in the things she does. Always giving her a reason.

He would make her hats and knit her dresses. She felt like her whole world was placed in his wild masculine hands. He would visit her whenever she wanted and even stayed with her in her dreams. He did everything she wanted without any flaws. Neither has he ever offended her. He's nothing but an accurate description of perfection.

The only reason why Edward could have been considered perfect is not other reason but because he was made from Dark white's imaginations. She got his figures from an old book her grandfather had given to her years ago before he died. She would bring him to life using potions she made from herbs and after a while he fades away. Even though she knew making him last forever would be such an impossibility, it's still her greatest wish.

Present

She pased around her small room in discomfort and decided to consult and old seer within the village about sofie. If he would have anything about sofie or even tell her about her connection with her.

She dashed out her house and her breathing became fast and heavy as she walked as fast as her legs could carry her. She went through hidden routes to avoid been seen by other villagers. Cause they would condemn her and everything about her just with words from their mouths.

She walked one leg before the other reaching the seer's house, she took a pause and waited by the entrance.

"Come in Mira" The seer said as the door opened.

She stepped into his house as there was only a bit of light within the house. She sat on his old wooden chair as she starred.

"Sofie, if not for her death, she could have been one of your foremothers." The seer said.

"Shall i avenge her?" Sofie asked as she kept on starring at him hardly blinking.

"I don't think that's a good idea. You don't even know her. Just let it go." The seer responded.

"My generations has been cheated since time had existed. I'm not gonna let it pass. I'm going to avenge them all as i hear of them." Dark white said as her voice sounded with rage.

"Ignorance." The seer said.

"Till i return " Dark white responded as she walked out of his house, gently bowing her head.
