Prologue

(THE GREAT/GlAM WEDDING )

Vicky was so happy, her face gleamed with joy. She blushed uncontrollably, it was finally her wedding day. She couldn't believe it. She had gone back to memory lane when she usually fantasized about her marital life thinking of when prince charming was coming to sweep her off her feet. How time flies, it was just three years ago when she and Mike had met and she knew he was the right man for her.

She felt so hysterical, but her face was a little down though.

"Why the face?, Today is your happy day princess"

Mrs. Ann her mother said.

"You should lighten up and smile broadly, you wouldn't want to look ugly today of all days when you have always looked pretty all your life"

Judith, her best friend said.

"Don't mind her, she's just being overly emotional, it's her joyous moment "

Ruth another friend of Vicky added and they all laughed.

"That's the face I want girl, so why the sad face?"

Judith said after Vicky smiled.

"You guys don't get it, I'm bidding my spinster life goodbye"

she said to defend herself.

"Oh! So that's why you are looking sad. That's how one feels, it's normal but you have to let go of the past and forge ahead to what the future holds in store for you, princess!"

Mrs. Ann said to ease her nerves. She could sense her daughter's anxiety.

"Now smile bride-to-be" said Ruth. Her face lit up a bit.

"Now that's the spirit" Judith commended and they all laughed.

"where's Jessy?"

Vicky asked all of a sudden because she was absent.

"She's probably around down the hall seeing to the event plans"

Ruth said.

Just then, Jessica, Vicky's younger sister walked in from the door into the dressing room graciously, putting on her beautiful, sleeveless Velvet ball gown, girdled with a fit-in waist belt and a satin bow to match her neon heels she wore which made her taller than she originally was. In total she was looking gorgeous and moderately perfumed as always.

"Speaking of the devil, here comes Jessy"

Judith replied after taking a good look at the beautiful lady who walked in just when she was needed.

"Hi everyone, wow! sis, you're looking really superb. Love that gown, it's beautiful and classy. I envy you"

Jessica said chuckling.

"Oh la la ...Such a 'chef d'oeuvre' " Jessica added In one of her french phrases she loves interspersing in her grammar. Jessica looked on at the faces staring at her, they probably didn't understand her.

"Oh! I meant it's a master piece, her dress is of great skill"

she explained her foreign phrase to the listeners and they all laughed.

It was two in the afternoon and the party was just about to get started. There was a golf resort and the Smith's lodge in it which contains the hall for the ceremony, The hall was decorated In white and blue to match the tone, a bar, and a back room that held lots of tables.

The DJ, who seem to be the famous DJ khaled was seen setting up his speakers in the empty room-probably for dancing later -while the photographer was going around and snapping pictures like crazy.

Some celebrities, mighty men, and Sebastian's business partners were seen seated in high tables, probably at the VIP's seat.

Outside, the fresh green grass was perfect. There were white chairs lined up in two squares; one for the groom's family, the Smiths and one for the bride's family, the Daves. Looked like the wedding would be done both inside and outside the hall.

There was a tiny waterfall in the back- outside the hall, with a bunch of wild bunnies hopping around. it was a golf course, with a gigantic hall in it.

Overall, it was a really gorgeous place.

Vicky and her bridesmaids were in the bathroom including Judith and Ruth, probably changing into their bridesmaids costume.

Vicky was probably hiding from Mike until it was time for the wedding to start.

Funny isn't it?.

As Jessica walked out of the dressing room where she and the rest were helping Vicky to dress up, and approached the reception hall. she squinted her eyes round to see people starting to sit down for the service.

She could see there were names sprawled in cursive across little pieces of paper taped to the chairs.

There were blue flowers like the hydrangeas, irises, thistle, allium, forget-me-nots, and scabiosa etc, the beautiful chinoiserie vase decor, the Midnight blue velvet chairs, the Wedding centerpieces For an eclectic look that fits right in with a rustic wedding aesthetic, There were mismatched blue bottles, vases, and greenery to complete the centerpieces.,. Wedding table numbers,

She could see the colorful and gleamy lightings which ran across the ceilings in the hall with capturing stationery suite, accessories, flower arrangements, etc..

She could also see the drink glassware which contains blue and white patterned dinner plates with blue watercolor individual dip dye menu card, blue fabric napkins and oyster placed shell card.

There was a large banner style wedding chair covered in Ethereal wedding tablecloths design with same team written in blue calligraphy.

There were calligraphy maracons,

Macarons decorated with gorgeous blue calligraphy are wedding favors that your guests won't be able to resist.

There were five large blue striped wedding cakes and were all three-tiers and layers each.

The bold wedding cakes with the three-tier creation decorated with teal fondant stripes are definitely meant for making a statement on their dessert table.

There were also bright classy chandeliers dangling from the ceiling and a long red carpet which stretched from the entrance to the pulpit, probably for the soon- to -be wedded couples to walk on.

She could see colorful flowers and classy tables and chairs covered in white clothings and Wedding welcome boxes or bags for guest (a nice gesture if people are traveling from out of town). There were blue satin bows to dress up plain white boxes in a flash.

She could see mighty men and guest coming in to have a chat with the mighty Sebastian Smith, Mike's father, or should we say, the groom's father.

Ruth came to call Jessica.

She was dressed in a beautiful blue off the shoulder gown with kitten heels and was looking so gorgeous.

KIt was the dress code for the bridesmaids and she and Judith were a part of them. Of course, they were her best friend so obviously they would be her bridesmaids at her wedding.

She could see Mike was already up near the priest. Looking anxious. He was dressed in his classy blue Tuxedo with a wrapped wedding boutonnieres in velvet blue ribbons which added a pop of color to his suit and groomsman outfit.

She could see the groomsmen in blue suit at a corner and Adams was one of them.

He smiled broadly as he stared at a nervous Mike on the pulpit.

Then the last few people sat down and finally the music started up.

They all rose, Looking at the aisle and waiting for Vicky.

Ruth checked her wristwatch anxiously and went back to the dressing room.

She was one of the bridesmaids and so she wouldn't leave them behind and walk alone down the aisle.

'Vicky should be done with dressing up by now and what Is taking her so long'.

A worried Mrs Ann thought as she was already back in the hall greeting and attending to guests, friends and relatives.

In no time, Vicky walked into the mighty hall with her bridesmaids.

They were looking so radiant and beautiful and were all dressed in

navy blue silhouette gowns except for the bride, Vicky, who was dressed in an A-line wedding dress with an off the shoulder and royal blue suede heels.

It was more like a ruffled tule ball gown.

An A-Line is Slightly more flowy than a ball gown, A-lines have fitted bodices through the waist and cascade out towards the ground, resembling the outline of an uppercase. It is Ideal for all body types and suits Vicky perfectly.

There was a blue wedding gown embroidery on her dress which embroidered her initials and wedding date onto the underside of the hem.

She walked through the aisle and the red carpet with her bridesmaids, maid of honor, flower girl, ring bearer, and her dad who came to join her.

The wedding was more like a classic and glamorous wedding.

Classic wedding style was ideal for Mike and Vicky as it helped to evoke timeless elegance and the utmost sophistication for their wedding day. This style steers away from over-the-top trends and flashy details, opting instead for a perfectly-coordinated aesthetic with decor that is chic and refined. Their classic wedding style had matching centerpieces, fine china, high-end linens, and a carefully-chosen wedding color palette, sparkly table linens and strands of crystals to oversized floral accents, sequined attire and, of course, a chandelier or two.

Venues like historic estates, ballrooms, and country clubs are naturally suited for classic wedding style but theirs was done at the Smith's private lodge / hall which had lots of ballrooms in it.

A beautiful stunning Vicky walked up to the pulpit and stood at Mike's front with the priest in between.

She was looking so radiant, hot, as well as sexy In her beautiful blue A-line dress.

Her blonde hair was let down in a flow with ringlets and curls at the tip and blue and white flowers adding a beauty touch to her hair.

Mike and his soon-to-be bride, Vicky Daves brought out a colorful blue wedding vow book and read their vows.

After the vows and a once in a life time kiss, the people stood to clap for the two wedded Couples.

The DJ played the music and everyone found themselves in the dancing mood.

Pictures and photographs of the couples were taken in the hall by the Parasol wedding backdrop

Who knew that simple paper parasols could turn out to be one of the coolest decor ideas for a blue wedding theme? These star-adorned parasols are straight out of our celestial wedding dreams.

Pictures of them were also taken outside on the field at the wedding ceremony arch, A delphinium, which had a handful of naturally blue flowers to create a stunning ceremony arch and are arranged in tall bunches to line the aisle

The reception took place in a ship outside the Smiths lodge which was located at an island in New York.

Famousl chefs from different countries cooked and made delicacies of mouth watering foods.

Everyone ate to their satisfaction on the ship which was owned by Mr Sebastian Smith.

Later on, the DJ (Khaled) gave a wonderful music and everyone danced till they were tired

While Mike and Vicky sat and stuffed their face with cake on a beautiful white couch In a love shape.

The next day, Mike and Vicky took a flight to an island in Brisbane In Queensland, Australia for their honeymoon.

What a glamorous wedding!!!!
