Chapter 3: Truth or Dare 2
At the balcony of the lounge, outside the room where Jessie sat with Charles, a chaos was forming and Luciana happened to be there. Sophie, one of the girls from the Sassy snitches crew had an argument with Alyssa.
Earlier, while Alyssa talked with Raymond, Sophie and the other members of the Crew went to meet her immediately after Raymond stepped out warning her to stay off him. Alyssa found it really funny because it was just a simple conversation and she had nothing for Raymond.
Just after the truth or dare game ended, Raymond met her again and told her he was leaving the party as he had some urgent things to do.
Sophie had a glass of drink in her hand when she sighted Raymond leaving the party, her eyes took her to the direction he walked from and she saw Alyssa. Immediately, she was filled with anger and in rage she dropped the glass of wine. Her action really caught people's attention and the few people around turned to see what was going on. She moved towards Alyssa and immediately slapped her.
"Jeez!", Luciana shrieked, excusing herself, she hurriedly looked for Jessie and dragged her to see what was going on.
"Come Jessie", she Said
"What now?"
"I'm sorry, just follow me", Luciana pleaded. Jessie followed her wondering what she was going to see. Luciana dragged her to the balcony and there, she saw Alyssa and Sophie in an argument.
"I told you to stay away, but you don't seem to listen", Sophie yelled. Alyssa was still dumbstruck as to why she was slapped. "I saw you with him now. Tell me, why can't you just stay away?"
"Drama", Jessie murmured. She didn't understand why Sophie was throwing a tantrum over a guy that wasn't hers, it was obvious he liked Alyssa. To her, fighting over a guy and one that didn't rate you at that was crap.
"So because of Raymond you are hitting me now?", Alyssa asked "don't you think you are being insane and overly stupid. You are killing yourself over a guy that can't even notice you".
"At least I'm not like you that run after men that aren't yours", Sophie vociferated.
"Sophie, just a piece of advice, I think you should probably just sit and ponder on how foolish your actions are right now"
"Alyssa, you don't want to......"
"Shhhh... what do you want to say?", Alyssa cut her off "you want to go about how I shouldn't step on your toes? Stay away from my business Sophie, I'm warning you. And the slap, I'll just keep quiet for now. But you won't dare it next time".
Alyssa walked away from the balcony to the pool, Sophie was left stunned, regaining her composure, she walked away with her chin raised up.
Luciana could not hold her grin anymore and she let out a loud chortle. Jessie, on the other side just giggled in response.
"So this is why you came rushing like there was an emergency", Jessie asked with arms folded, chins up and straight-faced. She found the argument interesting just that she enjoyed when Luciana gave her the cute sorry face.
"You want to say you didn't enjoy it now?", Luciana replied trying to control her excitement.
Before Jessie could reply, Oswald walked to them trying to show off this smile which he thought was seductive, rather it was doing the opposite. To Luciana, her day only got interesting, she excused herself as she didn't want to interrupt. Before leaving, she flashed a smile in a way of greeting to Oswald and told Jessie softly to be fine.
"How are you doing Jessie?", Oswald asked
With anger plastered over her face, she replied "what do you want now?"
"I'm sorry, you don't have to do the dare if you don't want to", he said.
Jessie felt he was just hilarious, he gave her a dare to do and now he's saying she didn't have to do it.
"It's fine, I'm doing it", she replied. Initially, she hoped that if she faked anger, it will possibly send him away but who knew he was daft afterall.
Oswald felt so terrible and realizing that he was the cause of his mess just annoyed him the more. He tried talking Jessie into not doing it, she just didn't sway. He began to wonder if she wanted to have a night with Charles and only used the dare as an excuse, besides she hurriedly agreed after Charles intervened.
Back at the inner room where Charles sat, he was scrolling through his wall on Reddit when Rebecca moved over to him. He didn't fancy her that much but he just used her to pass his sexual urge at times and she was fully aware it was all cruise. She was in a relationship with someone else and he had no issue with it.
"I tried it", she squealed. Earlier, she had complained to Charles about her partner not giving her attention anymore. He gave her some advice on what to do, which she did. She got a call from him of how he was sorry and all of it. She hastily scampered to Charles, to give him the good news, as she will term it.
To Charles, Rebecca was being noisy and it irked him. He liked her company at the start, she just got annoying later on. "So tell me how it went?", He asked her.
"You won't believe it, after you told me to......", She just went on and on blabbering, meanwhile his mind had drifted away.
He remembered the first time he met Jessie, that day he felt she was beautiful to look upon. Her ebony black hair complementing her hazel brown eyes was a killer on its own. Her smooth and radiant skin glowed and he found her really attractive but then it was not his thing to do the chasing.
That day, he stayed back to train as he was part of the College basketball team. One of the players made a throw that came at her, in fear, she shrieked and her phone fell off her hands. He felt sad that her phone got damaged and even worse when the guys blamed it on her. He walked towards her and offered to get her a new phone which she politely refused and left the area. Going back to the pitch, he regretted not taking her number and made a mental note to keep her around the next time he comes across her.
"That's how it went. I was so excited, I had to tell you immediately", Rebecca said.
He gave a nod, not like he heard what she said, he had no other option but to flow with the conversation so she doesn't feel embarrassed.
