Chapter 2

PROLOGUE

Sometimes life throws our way things we never expected and most of the times it's quite very complicated.

I have found myself in a situation that I never thought I would be and never expected to be the person I am today.

I was thrown into a life I thought existed in books, forced to face challenges and conquer them. Life played a dirty trick on me, it blew me so hard I had a hard time fixing my broken soul.

A situation where I either loose my identity and be labelled a failure, or prove to them what a man can do, I can do better...

And in HEELS..

Her heels stopped the chattering noise as all heads turned to look at her while she walked elegantly into the hall. Her lawyer, manager and guards right behind her. The end of her gown which was sewn like a cape flew elegantly sweeping the floor as she passed on. Her lips were tainted in blood red lipstick, her eyes hidden beneath the shades while her hands swing alongside her strides. Her aura giving off as the crowd parted ways for her to pass. Her eyes were set ahead without sparing anyone a glance.

Hushed whispers circled around the hall as the crowd kept wondering why she was here. The great business woman of the time.

She stood firm, removing her shades, her back ached with a posture not all can mimic. She let her eyes drag over the crowd before finally settling on her business rival as a cold smile appeared on her face.

"Don't you think it's rude to launch my product in my absence Mr Sani? She said as the man looked at her with confusion and shock.

All along, the business woman was her? She always put on dark shades and made sure her face was pretty much tucked in.

He couldn't deny, it came as a blow and he's trembling within considering he didn't invite her here and didn't know the reason why she made her presence known or even why she's talking about his soon to be launched product as hers.

"What do you mean? He questioned trying to act like nothing waved him even when both of them knew, finding out her real identity got him all disturbed but he couldn't show it. At least for the sake of his reputation, the world is watching .

She ignored his question and instead motioned for her lawyer to come forward.

Her lawyer, Mr Aliyu walked confidently and placed the documents in his hands. Mr sani read the documents before raising his eyes to meet hers

"What's the meaning of this? He shouted and she smiled as she stepped forward while her lawyer collected the documents back

'All you need to know is there" She pointed to the documents "It is what it is, this company and your property is now mine" She added with an evil smile.

"It's a lie, this is a lie. You are a scam, a fraud" Mr sani quickly grabbed his own property documents like his life depends on them looking around people whisper within themselves.

"But you clearly signed the papers. Or has your age started getting to your memory? She asked narrowing her eyes, a mocking smile playing on her lips

"No I didn't sign that. You forged my signature" He yelled and she shrugged

"What game are you playing" He spatted sending her a glare.

"The game you started playing in the past" She replied smirking "Only that I am finishing it and playing it better"

She gazed into his murderous eyes as she took her stand daring him to do or say anything. When she was sure he was dumbfounded, she leaned in and snatched the papers.

"Now if you don't mind, I guess this is mine"

Handing the papers to her lawyer, she turned to her manager

"Make sure all evacuate this place and any other place that is mine" She said turning to look at Mr sani dead in the eye 'Including his house, and not a single soul should be left there"

With that being said, she turned on her heels, head held high, as she walked away leaving her heels to make the noise.
