5. The Trap

“You have no heart! Instead of apologizing, you insulted my house and my memories?"

Gabriella grabbed Max's hair brutally. Even though he was grimacing, the man was still able to stand up straight. His hands did not hesitate to grip the girl's wrist and freeze the attack.

"What am I sorry for? I'm not guilty."

Gabriella's annoyed chuckle rang out.

"You're innocent? You think I believe it? Aren't you the one who gave me threat? Do you forget?" the girl protested as she jerked her hand.

“That was just a saying. It wasn't me who destroyed your house."

Gabriella started jumping up and down, adding strength to the pull, but the CEO still gripped her wrists.

"Let go! I don't want to be touched by a cruel bragger like you!”

“Did you just accuse me of bragging?"

Max twisted Gabriella and locked her from behind. With arms crossed over her chest, the girl could do nothing but jump up and down. Even though her head hit the man's chin several times and the dizziness blew her eyes even more, she still struggled as best she could.

"Let go!"

"Enough!" Max started to get overwhelmed by the madness of his guest.

"Let go ...!"

The CEO could no longer be patient. With his much greater strength, he dragged the girl onto the bed, then crushed her like a cop catching a criminal.

"Akh!" Gabriella groaned as a huge explosion struck her head. Not because of a collision with the mattress, but because of something stirring her stomach.

"Hueek ... hueek ...."

Max's eyes widened spontaneously. "Are you going to throw up?"

"Hueek ..."

"Not here!"

Max took his guest to the bathroom. He shuddered as he watched Gabriella vomit out of the toilet.

"It's a right choice I gave her two glasses," Max spoke to himself.

After washing her mouth in the sink, Gabriella looked down and caught her breath for a moment. After that, she turned around to reveal her pale lips and red cheeks to the CEO. There were no more words from her mouth.

"Do you want to attack me again?" Max challenged as Gabriella staggered toward him.

Miraculously, the girl shook her head and walked past him.

"Hm? Has the honesty potion reacted?"

Max chased after Gabriella and grabbed her arm. "Hey, what do you really want?"

With her eyelids half open, the girl looked at Max.

"Home."

“Oh, you want a big house or a fancy one? Take it easy. But, tell me ... who told you to oppose the Quebracha project?"

Gabriella shook her head weakly and repeated the same words, "Home."

Max's forehead frowned unhappily. "What does it mean?"

"Home."

A second later, Gabriella's leg lost its strength. If the CEO didn't catch her, she would have fallen on the floor.

"Ah, I should have given this girl one glass," Max regretted as he carried the girl and laid her on the bed.

Standing up and pinching his chin, the man observed Gabriella's appearance. Messy hair, pale lips, and dirty dress. The girl was totally messed up.

"What is this girl's purpose?" the CEO turned his thoughts from another perspective.

"Is it possible if this girl is really innocent?"

A second later, Max shook his head ignoring his words.

“The innocent girl can also be used. The Enji Company or Colorwood could have sent her to screw up the project. They must already know that this girl is crazy."

The CEO approached and observed every detail on Gabriella's face.

"When sleeping like this, she's pretty too." The man did not realize that he swallowed hard.

Suddenly, the cell phone on the table rang. Max grabbed it and checked the notification on the screen.

"From the unknown number?" His eyes rolled to check in all directions. "Is it the threat again?"

Without wasting time, the CEO read the message.

"Let me guess! You must have given the woman the honesty potion and now, she's asleep."

Max's hands were tightly clenched again. With a heavy breath, he stared at Gabriella's innocent face.

“She was indeed a messenger? Tch .... "

The cell phone in Max's hand rang again.

“Then, have fun! But, be careful! Don't let the girl get pregnant. Not only will Evans' name fall, but also you from the CEO position."

Max snorted angrily.

"What does it mean by having fun? Does this person think I'm a jerk?”

After putting the cell phone on the table, the CEO turned to Gabriella's bag on the floor.

"Why is it so hot tonight? Even though I just finished showering,” Max muttered as he poured the contents of Gabriella's bag.

Notebooks, wallets, cell phones, and musical notation paper were the four things that attracted his attention.

“She's a musician? Or just pretending to be a musician?"

Max threw the paper to the bag.

"What is this? Her handwriting is terrible,” the man commented as he opened the notebook.

“The woman must practice writing. Or maybe … it's not her who wrote this book.”

Max unhesitatingly threw the book into the pile of useless items. After a blink of eyes, his hand opened the girl's wallet.

"It looks like she's in need of money. Poor her."

A second later, the man's fingers were already holding Gabriella's ID.

"So, her birthday is next month. Tch, she's not as young as she looks. Her face's really deceiving."

After returning the card, Max closed his wallet and switched to the cell phone.

"Password?"

With a lopsided smile, Max walked back to Gabriella and pressed her thumb against the sensor.

"Stupid!" the man muttered in satisfaction. Then, he sat on the edge of the bed and began to check every file on the cell phone.

Messages, phone logs, contact numbers, even to photo and video galleries. His eyes widened when he saw the number of recorded videos.

"Is this daily reports?" the man who was still suspicious of Gabriella guessed.

Without a doubt, he clicked on the latest video. The girl's sweet smile immediately greeted him.

"Hello, Mom. Today, I join a competition. It's only the first round, but I still have to look pretty, right?”

The girl stood up and stepped back until her entire body fit into the screen.

“I really want to wear this dress. But, this is too sexy. There are many male workers outside. I'm afraid that my clothes will provoke unpleasant things."

Gabriella picked up another dress from the bed.

"Then, the second option is this long dress. It looks more polite, right? Would you like to see me wearing it?"

A second later, the girl turned around and started stripping off the dress on her body. Max's blood suddenly rustled. Even as Gabriella finished wearing the second dress, his eyes were still rounded onto the screen.

"How is it, Mom? This one is more elegant, right?”

After checking her appearance from several directions, the girl came closer again.

"Pray for me, Mom. I will not disappoint you. I'm going to win this one."

Gabriella's sweet smile concluded the video.

Swallowing hard, Max turned his head towards the sleeping girl beside him. Without a word, he put the phone on the table and began to look at Gabriella's body with interest.

When he regained consciousness, Max found his hand stroking the girl's sensitive area. As fast as a flash, he pulled his hand away and stepped out of the bed.

"Jeez .... What was I thinking?"

As he walked back and forth, Max fanned his head and caught his breath. Instead of subsiding, the desire within him grew up. His body began to throb in discomfort.

"What's wrong with me?"

Suddenly, Max's cell phone called again. In an instant, he read the message from the threat.

"It is the most potent stimulant. Don't even try to fight back! Your heart will not be strong."
