Chapter 3

Alpha Jett

“And with that, we'll wrap things up for the day; please remember to write down your homework.” Mrs. Beatrice said on her way out of the hall.

My name is Jett Herndon, and I am both a werewolf and an alpha, just like my two brothers. Although we look nearly identical, anyone who spends any amount of time with us will quickly learn to distinguish between us thanks to our distinct personalities and, most importantly, the subtle distinctions in the shape of our eyes.

We are members of the Golden Moss Pack, and we are currently in our second year at Dranovile College, a school primarily attended by supernatural beings such as werewolves, coyotes, witches, and lone wolves, and very few humans.

It's possible that the few humans we encountered were unaware of our existence.

“Jett, are you not eager to return home?” My blue-eyed brother Diesel asked

“Not yet, brother. I still have some unfinished business in school.”To which I responded.

“How about yoresponde” My other brother, the one with the grey eyes, was also questioned by Diesel, and he responded, “I will be taking my bitch out; see you all at home.” It was a winking statement.

“Bully your way to safety, bro.” Moreover, I smiled

We exchanged what we've come to refer to as "the golden handshake," and they were on their way.

While most people would describe me as the quiet type, when my inner wolf is unleashed, I am as merciless as Diesel himself.

We haven't met our second-chance soul mate yet, but trust me when I say that the three of us have been through some rough times in the past.

When time seemed to leave my side, it was probably when I walked to the library and spent a while looking for the book I needed and reading through the details.

I have to go now.

Additionally, I got into my green Lamborghini Aventador and turned up the music when I almost ran over a girl who appeared out of nowhere.

I was afraid I had accidentally killed a human because I couldn't detect any wolf scent.

I hurried out of the car to meet her, and she immediately launched into a verbal assault, asking, “Are you blind or what? Didn't you notice me? Do you want to take my life?”

“How come you're talking to me like that? Are you aware of who I am? It was you who walked out into traffic without looking.”

She has to be the new human who joined our school recently, and I need to rein her in.

“It's clear you're off your rocker.”

“What?”

How dare she suggest I'm going crazy?

"

“I'll let this slide this time because we give newbies like you a week to settle in, but if you treat me like that again, I won't be so forgiving.”

“The next time we meet, I will have some very harsh words for you.” After giving her response, she left.

Now that I've gotten her scent, I'll be able to catch her when the time is right. I bolted out of there and drove straight home, where I found my brothers engaged in their customary game of catch-up.

While I was making my way to the bar to order my preferred brand of whisky, Axel looked up from his game and asked, "Did something happen on your way home?"

“Can you guess who I ran into today?”

“Who?” inquired Axel.

“Is there a new clique at school that we need to join up with so that we can show them what it's like to be inferior to us?” In the words of Diesel, competition is constant.

“There's none of that, so have you heard anything about the new human student at Dranovile High?”

“Yes, what do you think?” Confused? Axel asked.

“After our meeting, she started talking trash to me.”

“Let it go, brother; remember a week for the freshmen, and after that, she will have to pay for what she did today.” Axel included.

“I believe it is now time to introduce bullying in high schools. Do you have any thoughts? This new human will be in our list.”

“That means our faces will be in front of high school students quite frequently.” My brother and I exchanged our standard evil grins and handshakes, and I headed up to my room.

Mariam~

I told my grandmother everything except that I had been impolite to a wealthy individual.I made a call to Elena using Grandma's phone. But now that I have a job, I have enough money to buy a phone. Eventually, I will have one; I just know it.

“How thoughtful of you to call, Mariam. I missed you and wish I could have joined you.” Elena's dramatic behaviour first began

“Don't worry, when we go on vacation, I will definitely come by to see you because I missed you, too.”

She exclaimed, ”Tell me about your new school, and don't leave anything out!”

“Don't be envious; I made a new friend, but she's no substitute for you.”

“I'm so happy for her best friend,” she said.

“Well, on the bright side, I got my revenge on someone today.”

“What? Can you be serious? You're crazy to do that.”

“You know, after everything I've been through in school, I refuse to transfer to a new school and go through it all over again.” There, I said it.

“The Golden Brothers, it is said, are the leaders of the bully gangs, so do what you can to avoid falling into their trap.”

“Don't worry about me; I'm capable of taking care of myself and will never be bullied again.”

I had to rush to get to the Hibiscus location in time for my lecture. I will not be absent from today's lecture. When someone bumped into me and knocked my book to the floor, I took off like a shot.

“Are you totally blind? Can't you see that I'm heading down the path? I don't understand why you ran into me. Does this look like a Bollywood movie to you?” I yelled at him because I knew he was the same guy who nearly knocked me down yesterday, but his eyes were different today; they were blue. Is he trying to make eye contact with me?

He pinned me against the wall and said, “Never raise your voice at me again in your worthless life.” Fear gripped me. Why is he acting so differently today? Is he seriously planning on trouncing me? I need to learn to keep my mouth shut.
