"I'm sorry." Freida began to sob. Once the tears started, it was impossible to turn off the floodgates. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
"No. Shush," he said, pulling her in for a tight hug. He stroked her hair gently, and she almost felt comforted. "You aren't sorry. Not sorry enough."
"Not Yet."
Freida knew she would regret making such promises to a guy like Damon—a sadistic bully who would show her no mercy—but she had no other choice.
She would have to suffer to save the people she loves, and living in the hope that Damon would stick to his promise to keep her secret.
But, as cruel and twisted as Damon can be, Freida finds herself wondering if there is another side to him.
Does she have what it takes to melt a heart of stone, or will she be completely destroyed by him?

MAY I think I know where this story will be going. Despite that, I put it in my library because I have a sad fascination with this type of story. I'll work my way up to this book over the next few days.
