Chapter 3

"Is that what you think? That your dear father left my territory alone? You are more of an imbecile than I thought Olivia"

He said spitting out the words with monumental hatred coming out of his mouth.

"I know what I'm talking about, what are your intentions? Say it, Petros, do you want my father to give in on something, so you brought me here? I can manage, just let me go!"

I was suffocated by him, by his expressions and his smell. I was trembling with fear, but I was trying to appear firm as if I wasn't drowning in my emotions.

"You're not leaving Olivia; you're going to stay here. Maybe you haven't realized it, but I'm in charge of you! Your life doesn't belong to your damned father anymore! Your life, your body, and even the air you breathe belong to me!"

He moved a little closer, his heavy gait and clenched hands made me shiver. He felt my body creep because that's how I always reacted, he looked into my eyes and shot me a look.

"I have plans for you, you stay!"

The certainty in his words made me crumble, he was determined not to let me escape from there. From my gilded and adorned cage, from the environment that seemed so peaceful without him and so dense with his presence.

"What plans Petros?"

I could feel the hot tears wetting my face, it was deep desperation and with each step, he took toward me the more the desperation became visible.

I was completely lost in my feelings, in all my tears, and in all the tricks of my personality to keep me away from Petros.

"That room"

he said walking in circles, speaking slowly as if savoring every word.

"Is it a good size for you?"

Although the tone of his voice remained serious, I could see the debauchery in his expression lines, the smile on his mouth, and the way he wiggled his eyebrows when he asked me something he already knew the answer to.

"Why are we talking about the bedroom? Have you gone crazy, if your intention is not to kill me, why to keep me here?"

"Soon you will know, but answer my question, Olivia"

He said more firmly, letting the smile fade from his face, the dimple no longer appeared in his tone of debauchery and his gaze was hard.

"Why do you want to keep me here?"

I said completely distraught, my tear-stained eyes evidenced exactly the depth of my feelings of madness, with every second away from my home the more my name and my lineage weakened.

I thought about the rumors and how my death was already taken for granted around my palace.

"The sooner you accept that you will never return home, the better it will be for you! You won't be able to leave your room until you realize this.

All this sounded to me like the greatest madness in the world. Petros spoke firmly, but there was something behind all the hatred in his gaze and in the way he breathed and drank to speak to me. That contempt did not seem normal, even for enemies. The hot way he kept looking at me made clear to me everything that I, at that moment, did not want to see.

It would be nice if I didn't feel all that heat rising in my legs as I looked at him, it would help me maintain, even if it was a lie, my self-control.

"I will never accept this Petros, every day I will fight to get out of here I bet my father is already making arrangements"

Petro approached me and again held my chin, looking deep into my eyes. So deep that even though I was lost I could find myself in his brown eyes.

"You will never leave here Olivia, plans you will know later"

He said whispering almost like a secret, he put his face against mine and I could feel his breath on my face.

His hot breath merged with mine, fast and desperate, I didn't pull away and neither did he.

Connected by our evilness we kept threatening each other with no thought of leaving each other's side.

"I will never accept this"

I said leaning my lips against his lips, I can't describe the feeling that invaded me.
