Chapter 3: Stinger
*You’re going to fucking die. – Knuckles
Just shy of Jasmines’ eighteenth birthday, her aunt Stephanie was killed in a convenient store robbery. She had gone in to get a drink and pay for her gas. The teenager panicked and shot everyone in the store.
For less than thirty dollars, five people lost their lives. Six if you included the teen who died in jail. No one was surprised that he hung himself after being the play thing for several Saints that were in jail.
Even the guards were surprised that he survived as long as he did.
Unable to stay at their house without drowning in memories, Brute moved himself and Jasmine to the mother house.
Knuckles had patched into the club under Trigg at Pops Place. Scrapper was prospecting under his dad at the mother house. Jasmine, nicknamed Taz by the club, was enjoying club life herself.
After her recovery from being shot as a child, she had to relearn many things that had once been taken for granted.
Her cousins did boxing and the therapist suggested that she learn also. It would help with her balance. And her anger issues.
What was supposed to be therapeutic, became a way of life. She learned to hold her own with her cousins. And then in competitions.
Taz earned a boxing scholarship to the University and studied business. It’s not that she had a fondness for business and accounting. In fact, far from it. But she planned to help the club with it’s businesses.
The whole club walked away from the drug trade to keep her safe.
The least she could do was give back to the men who protected her. The men who gave their lives for her.
She partied with the men. Fucked several of them. Continued with her classes. Started competing on the amateur MMA circuit.
As far as Taz was concerned, life could not get better.
One night it all changed.
On a night of hard drinking at the club, Taz went down the hall towards the bathroom and one of the brothers followed her. Although she had slept with several of them, some she avoided because they left her feeling uncomfortable. He was one of the latter. She tried to fight him off, but he was sober, larger and stronger. He knocked her out and had his way with her.
