Chapter 1
There were questions he needed to ask himself. There were things he desired to reverse. However, the tale was quite different.
When did it all start?
Was it when he took up the case and threatens the villian to do his worst?
His eyes sucks deep as his bloody suit stinks his body. It rain heavily this day, perhaps, the weather desired to witness his fate. Though, it had subsided.
The wind blew wildly tossing the coat he wore side by side. The dark night bore witness to the scenes of this man's actions. Villians always attacks at night but this night couldn't tell if this weary man was a villian or hero.
This young man's breath was shaking and he was bleeding profusely from the lower abdomen. However, the pains coursing throughout his body never matters.
His hand held a gun and his feet stomp in the rain with anger. His stern look could tell, he had grudges against someone.
Certainly, anyone could tell that he would pass out at this rate. However, he never cared. His raging eyes had tears gathered in them.
A rollercoaster of emotions filled him up. A lot had happen to him these past few days that it was enough to justify his action.
For a moment, he never minded being a murderer or a villian to take off this pain from his chest.
The path he took was lonely and spoke of evil as creepy sounds of insects lingers around the place. His steps were dangerous and even the rain couldn't stop his intension.
Each path he took left a trail of his blood which was wash away by the subsiding rain.
A few distance from him, a young man could be seen running and scampering. Fear had this young man who never wants to be a victim. Unfortunately, while running, he fell tremendously to the ground due to the sloppy ground.
He groan and cusses while trying to get on his feet but then heard the cocking sound of a gun. This young man stutters and went on his kneel Intending to plead for his life.
Sadly for the young man, there was no way out for him as he was stucked with this furious man.
"Please... you're an upright man...you wouldn't want to stain your hands with blood..." The young man wasn't done with his speech when the former shot him in the head and he drop dead.
The former sniffs as tears began to trickle down his face. His eyes lowers at his terrified hands which had murdered some lives an hour ago. He couldn't believe himself but grief, depression and fury could lead anyone astray.
He wipe his face with his blood thirsty hand and then walk pass the dead man. His ears tingles at the sound of siren.
It was certainly the cops who were after him. Of course, he was declared wanted by the public. His life was a mess now.
Though he wasn't done, but his strain body was telling him it was over. His steps were now steady and slowly, his vision blurry. Due to the excess blood he had loss, this man fell limply to the ground in a sitting position while curdling himself.
He could hear the crashing sound of a river not too far from him couple with the incoming cops that were still at a far distance. His body had develop goosebumps and shivering. Certainly, he wasn't going to forgive himself for what he has done today.
His left palm went around the pendant hanging on his neck. It was a locket which he treasure.
The wet ground soak his pants and the stench of blood hit his nose which got him irritated. Soon, the cops would find him here but it felt they were never arriving.
He was willing to get locked up behind bars and so would wait for them. His cold eyes shut close as voices rang in his head and the one voice that got him tearing up with agony was a child's voice.
"Daddy... I'm scared"
That voice gurgles as though trying to survive or scale through pains.
This man roared as he flip the gun in his hand to the ground trying not to remember that child's voice again but he couldn't.
He struggles to get on his feet and for a while, he desires not live again. His lips left out a sad smile as he remembers that today, those that made his life miserable were getting awards tonight.
How tragic it was that his life will end like this with clearing up the misunderstandings. His eyes rolled to the river close by. There was no point of living in this unjust world where justice never rules.
The thought of that made him laugh hysterically. If he was ever going to be reborn again, he desired to be powerful and feared by all.
He trood towards the river, mutters a few painful words and jumped inside. This man didn't bother fighting with the strong waves of this river which tumble against his body and suppress him down.
His breath was ceasing but his eyes were fully awake and he felt he was sailing down a bottomless sea.
He freed his hands and watch himself sink down. Goodbye to the wicked world, goodbye to this tragic life of his. Now, no one would know of his existence. Now, he doesn't care what the world would know him as. Death was the only solution to this miserable life of his.
The only thing, perhaps the cops might find is his corpse. With all this thought ringing in his mind, he shut his eyes and floods of memories began lingering in his head.
