Ugly sight

Chrissy

How the fuck am I supposed to ignore the fact that I saw Dayle finger fucking the famous Amber Hart?

She was acting as if she didn't care about him at first, but there, she wanted him. We all want him. Hemsville Senior High School girls crave him.

At that time I saw them, my crotch kept throbbing very hard, and I was suddenly in the mood to fuck Dayle. It wasn't my intention to see him; I only stepped out to catch some air since Max was saying all sorts of things to me.

In summary, we argued and he said something disturbing to me. That Ellen is better than I am. How?

Initially, Ken and I talked and I showed him the video about Amber and Lauren’s argument to add to our fun. I shared it with him in my drunk state, and they encouraged me to have a few more sips but it landed me into shit. Messed up like a fucking muddy puddle while we kept laughing about it.

This brings me back to Dayle, damn, I couldn't help, but want the way he kept stroking her. I got wet on the spot. I've never had sex, but I stop fantasizing about Dayle. The popular heartbreaker, fuck boy, and player.

A breathing red flag.

Laying in bed, trying to decipher whether or not to keep him in my thoughts or not? I just wanted every inch of him.

Or maybe I was only drunk, making me honey as a wild bitch.

Fuck! Fuck!! Fuck!!!

If I don't take time, I'll eventually touch myself, I fucking swear it.

My phone chimed, good thing my attention was divided. I quickly answered.

"Hey Chrissy, come get me from your doorstep!" Ken said.

"Holy fuck, Ken you're not a stranger."

"The door is practically locked, dummy!"

"You are such a rogue! Hold on!" I hung up and rushed to meet him. Mom must have locked the door to kerp me safe.

She had gone on a date. She told me about this rich man that she met at her banking job, and they'd been hanging out for a very long time now. I was eager to know the person that made my mother smile a whole bunch, she was never sad, except for the stress and all.

I was genuinely happy that she has found a man for herself; I wished that I would also find mine.

Hello, you're just a teenager!

Does it matter??

I unlocked the door as my eyes settle on Ken, holding a box of pizza and a wine bottle on his left.

"Taddaa!!" he exclaimed teasingly as I smiled shyly.

He never ceases to amaze meveity his sweet gestures.

A golden friend.

"How do you know that craving for pizza?!"

And Dayle’s Dic…

“I know my best friend like my last name,” he proudly said as I chuckled.

We walked up to my bedroom; he was the only boy that my mother lets into my bedroom, mostly because we practically grew up seeing each other often. She was not that sentimental about him. Well, me too.

We hopped into my soft bed as he rests on an arm while I lay on my back. Both eating from the box.

"How come you left the party this early? Wasn't it meant to last through the night? Today is Sat!" I stirred up and he shrugged without interest.

"I had to come by and check in on you! How are you though?" he angled his gaze to concentrate on me.

"I'm fine! Evidently!" I snapped.

"Okay, nerd, I know that you had it rough with Max and I don't even have intentions to plead on his behalf again. We both saw the signs, right?" he pointed out truthfully.

"Again, evidently!" I rolled over on my belly and took the bottle of red wine from his hand and gulp some. He took part of his slice and fed me, I gladly accepted it and he continued to eat too.

"I guess that he's seeing Ellen now..." regrettably, I said.

"How does that make you feel?"

"Paranoid, in a good way. Like, she talks about him a lot and kinda shows so much affection towards him and still tries to balance it up when I'm there. It's just... crazy how your best friend takes your boyfriend away from you. Maybe she's one of the reasons why he virtually hates me!" I let out.

"Don't say that and besides, you broke up with him before they came into the limelight. You still won!" he tried to cheered me on.

"Win to lose! I fucking hate my life, Ken, it fucking sucks!"

"I think you're a great girl, Chrissy! If it wasn't for the fact that you won't say yes to me even if I triedto ask you out, I would have made you my girl," he casually said and I smile.

Ken was a good guy, an almost perfect guy, but I don't see him as a love interest, he's practically my brother.

Biggest friend. Bestie. Name it.

"You are sweet! I love you and you know that." I snapped swiftly and stuffed my mouth while he nods slowly. "Tell me, did you meet someone today?"

"Yes Chriss, we even... fucked!"

"Jeez Ken, you said that you would stop flinging—"

"It's Arianna, so chill. We like each other, okay? But we are just scared to make it a thing! That's all!" he explained.

"Don't be a player Ken, or else I would kill you!" I nudged his side playfully.

"Yeah I know, and that's why it's Arianna. You needed to hear how she was screaming my name... I didn't know that I was so good, bitch...." he joked as I laughed.

"Ewww!" my face squeezed playfully and he laughed it off.

"You'll get there, I promise! Even Max has told me that you haven't slept with—"

"Fuck me, he told you that?" I interrupted him.

"Yeah, why not? He's my bro!"

"Yeah, I should have guessed!" I rolled my eyes and looked away from him. I'm officially embarrassed right now.

Bro code, right? Ugh.

"Would you forgive Ellen?" he asked, his countenance became profound.

"I don't understand, are you pleading on behalf of Max or Ellen now?" I got pissed off

"It's not Max, it's Ellen now. I mean she's our friend! She's always been! Your choice by the way, I'll always be there for you regardless of whoever or whatever." he assured me.

He snuggled my cheek playfully and I blushed. He had a way of making me light up my dead flames. I loved Ken, moon, and back.

"Me too, whoever you choose to go out with is fine with me. I'll support you! Even Arianna! She's really pretty though!"

She was but she was Amber’s friend, they both in the cheer squad.

"Yeah, right? I had to find someone as pretty as you. Good thing that she's not like Amber or her friends despite being a part of the squad." he said and I totally agreed with him.

"Absolutely!"

"And hey, if you feel like you want someone but can't reach that person, you should let me know. I'll help you!" he gulped from the bottle too.

"When would you let me fight my demons, Ken? Stop spoiling me!"

"It's my job to take care of you, darling. Let me!"

"I know!" we chuckled. "Thanks for the other day with Dayle; I know that you don't want to talk about it. I could have been hopeless without you! Not even Max fought for me, he treated me like we weren't a thing or something—"

"He didn't wanna pry," he softly defended.

"Stop defending him, I'm gonna get mad!" I snapped at him before he backed off.

"Okay. Ellen told me that Dayle came at you after Bio class," his mood spoiled. “How true?

"Just drop it, okay? It was sorted out!"

Lie! It could never be sorted out, worse if I told him that I really liked Dayle, Ken would cut off my mouth for talking and rip my heart for liking him. He was very protective of me.

"Drop it? I'm not Elle; you know that I won't drop it. I'll get at him!" he vowed.

"How?"

"Even if I told you, you'd still say no. I'll keep it to myself. Please honey, eat up so that we could see the movie. I'll wait until Mom returns!" he said. I smiled faintly at him thinking and wondering what he would eventually do.

~

When Mom returned at about past 11 pm, Ken left. Mom told him to sleep over, but he simply declined because he hadn't told his mother or father. No pressure, Mom said.

She came in with some gift boxes, some chocolates and cookies. She had given a box of cookies to Ken since he didn't like chocolates that much.

We sat on the sofa; she was constantly waving her fingers at me like a classy teenager while she told me about her boyfriend of the season.

"Is he that rich, Mom?" I tried to fathom because I never really asked questions.

"Yes baby, super rich. He helps me with your tuition and even the rent, I don't even ask—he goes ahead to do it. He's very nice, nicer than Gary ever was."

Yeah, I could see it. Gary was a mistake in our lives, I would I could say that he was never my real father, but his blood rubs through my veins, isn't it?

The thought of it irked me.

"He was never nice mom, stop painting him grey!" Grey, in the sense that, it was a mix of white and black. My father was an absolute animal.

She smiled, shoving the topic under the rug. Great.

She opened the cookie box; it looked so yummy and tasty. Despite being full, I couldn't ignore this one.

"What's his name anyway?"

"Owen!" she sweetly called, love sparking in her eyes.

"Great!" I coolly tell her.

"Honey," she put down the jewelry box and veers to me fully, "I wanted to talk to you about… something very important. Just in case you have or haven't noticed, I uh..." She stopped unsure whether to continue or not.

"Mom, talk to me, I'll always listen." I assured her.

"Smart girl!" she sighed, rubbing her thighs swiftly blowing out some air. "How would you feel if I told you that I was getting married again?"

No fucking way!

"No way Mom, like, are you engaged?" I asked, brightening up as I rose while my eyes widened.

"Yes, but I don't know how you would feel! I mean, getting into a new home and—"

"Mom what do you fucking mean—"

"Language honey, language!" she corrected me rising to her feet, it just came out because of excitement.

"Sorry!" I threw myself around her for a hug, she embraced me tightly knowing that I consented. Not even the last thing on my mind was near making her sad. I was happy that she found a good responsible man. I was glad that she finally found happiness.

"I'm truly happy for you, Mom. I am!" I grinned, taking her finger to stare arvyhe gorgeous ring. It was really, really gorgeous and expensive.

"You don't know how excited you have made me, honey. I'm blessed to have you and I promise you that you wouldn't have to go through what you went through. Ever again." she said to me with another hug then we sat back down. Staring at my mother being this excited was top-notch.

Unraveling the gifts, she even gave me bracelets among the many gifts, he was indeed very rich–the man she was getting married to.

She furthered to tell me why he hadn't shown up, it was because Mom stopped him thinking that I would be upset—she was only protecting my feelings. I hated it when she acted too selfless, placing me before herself all the time.

She was always worried about me. It didn't end there, she also told me that the man has got a son and that he has never gotten married again until now—that he had proposed to her.

I text Ken instantly.

Mom got engaged!!!!

Accompanied by some emoji and I hit send.

Are you serious?

You're gonna have a daddy?!

He accompanied it with some 'WOW' and hearts' emoji and

Staring at his text made me laugh to myself before replying back.

Yes Ken, I'm gonna have a daddy!

Come pick me up tomorrow, we gotta celebrate!

In less than a minute, he replied again.

I thought you'd never ask! Okay!!

Luv you, Chris-Shit!

I read the text thrice and chuckled. He better stop playing me this way.

You are so dead, tomorrow!

I texted back.
