My Fiancee

Erica blinked rapidly at Aurelio with a cute surprised look on her face. “Mrs CEO?” she asked him raising her brows at him.

“You have me, that automatically makes you one honey” he replied and turned his face to the elevator button.

“Is he being serious?”

“I am what…?” Erica thought and heard a ‘ding ding’!’ sound from the elevator.

Aurelio pulled her with him out of the elevator and took steps majestically to the conference room.

“uh-uh where are we going?” she asked him holding his hands on hers.

“Are you scared honey? You are going to see some of the employees and they are going to see you too” he replied as he made a right turn with her.

“Employees..? How do I even approach them? I don’t know if i-“ she trailed as Aurelio stopped and turned her face to his, cupping her cheeks in his hands.

Erica eyes went wide looking into his beautiful blue eyes.

“ You need to be confident, and besides they won’t eat you. All you will do is to sit beside me, listen or even stare at my handsome face,simple” he winked at her and heard her scoff.

“Handsome? Who told you that you are?” she laughed lowly.

Aurelio laughed quietly shaking his head with his hands on his shoulders.

His head were bowed low and then he clicked his tongue.

“ Honey, I am handsome.. too handsome and that is why you fell for me” he replied with a side smile.

Erica squinted her eyes at him with squeezed face as she shook her head at him slowly.

“You were the one that fell for me, I didn’t f-“ Aurelio cut her short again.

“ I know you would deny it, that’s how it happens. No problem Honey, I Will not say anything because I know you will not agree with me” he said to her as he took her hands back into his and continued walking

“what the! Gosh!” Erica rolled her eyes and in few minutes, they arrived at a door that was already open.

Erica walked in with Aurelio beside her,

They stepped into the conference room and she could see Mr Bertram was already seated in the VIPs seat at the head of the table and two empty seat beside him which she supposed belongs to her and Aurelio.

Around the table were other radiant looking employees. They all turned their attention to her and stood up immediately seeing Aurelio beside her.

“Good morning sir, welcome Sir” they greeted

Aurelio gave them a smile in return “Good morning everyone” he replied as he walked to his Father and sat down beside him by his Left side while Erica sat by his right side.

“So without wasting time, I will go straight to the point here” Mr Bertram started with as he sat up

“We’ve run this company together, with unity and strong trust, I’m grateful to have such a hardworking, talented and zealous employees like you all here” Mr Bertram said as they smiled in return

“So today, I will be announcing to you all here, all C suite here, the chief financial officer, Chief Compliance Officer,Chief Human Resources Manager,Chief Security Officer,Chief Green OfficerChief Analytics Officer,Chief Marketing Officer,Chief Data Officer and then to the result of the key personnel. My son, Aurelio Bertram would be taking over BerCam Paragon groups” Mr Bertram said and immediately there was a round of applause

Aurelio was surprised to see them smile and clap their hands.

“No I am not sick like most of you are probably thinking now, he is my first son and definitely he deserves this new position as the new chief executive officer of BerCam Paragon groups” Mr Bertram said.

Aurelio wore a smile on his face as he looked at Erica and saw her smile. It was more than enough to make him smile too.

She slammed her hands together clapping too “I know you all know what to do, he is your new CEO. I am just making the announcement for you to know” Mr Bertram said

“ I am sure Mr Aurelio will do a great job sir!” an employee said with a smile

“ Yes I trust him” another added

“Congratulations Mr Aurelio” they all said in unison with a smile on their face as they clapped their hands.

“Sir are we holding a party for this?” a male employee asked Mr Bertram

“Why not? There would be a grand event tonight, so yes we will celebrate it” he replied with a smile

“Congratulations” Erica said to him with a smile

“I’m glad it’s coming from you honey” Aurelio replied as most of the staffs looked at themselves

“ Honey? I keep wondering who she is to him” a female employee whispered

“No side talks, PeraVera Hotel and suites tonight, 7pm” Mr Bertram said as he stood up from his seat

Aurelio stood up after him and so did Erica “See y’all there” he replied as he turned to leave with his tab but Erica took it instead and carried it along with him.

“I can still do that my dear, I am not old yet” He laughed as he made his way out with Aurelio walking behind Erica with a smile on his face.

The rest of the employees didn’t stop whispering amongst themselves.

Everyone really wanted to know who Erica is to Mr Bertram and to Aurelio.

“He even called her honey” a female staff said lowly

“I have good vibes about this though” another replied.

Aurelio was out of the conference room and far from it with his father and Erica with him.

“You know it’s left to you now son, make sure you look good tonight” his father said to him

“Definitely Father, I will” he replied as he took Erica’s hands into his. She looked down at his hands and back at his face pouting her lips and raising a brow at him.

“Honey, we are going shopping now” he said to her

“All good, I need to see your Father now” Mr Bertram replied.

They all walked to the elevator together and pushed the button to the First floor.

“I trust you Aurelio, you will handle the company well. Now that you have Erica” his Father said.

“Yes he will Popoli” Erica replied with a smile.

Minutes later, they stepped out of the elevator.

Mr Bertram security men already walked to him and took him to his car that was already parked and waiting outside the company.

“ I’ll be going now, enjoy yourself okay?” he replied

“yes Father” Aurelio replied

“I was actually talking to Erica” his dad chuckled as Aurelio rolled his eyes.

“Father..we are one, if you are talking to me, the you are talking to her. Period!” he replied as he shut the door to car and waved at his father

“oh that yes I forgot” Mr Bertram chuckled

“Go shopping, get her the best of all best” he said to Aurelio as he waved at the both of them

“I will for sure Father!” Aurelio replied and slowly the car drove away.

Erica turned to Aurelio with a side smile “its our turn to leave now” Aurelio said to her as the car pulled to a halt before them

“Ready Sir” Rowan said from the car.

Aurelio pulled the car doors and gestured Erica to go in, without hesitation she went in and then he did after her.

Everyone around saw that and couldn’t stop looking and wondering what was going on between the both of them.

“What mall sir?” Rowan asked him

“Vickgilies, it’s part of the best in the City” Aurelio replied

Aurelio was seated on a seat majestically with his legs crossed, Erica had gone into the dressing room for the 5th time, he kept saying no the dresses she had picked.

In no time, she stepped out of the dressing room in a blue short flowery gown on a white heel shoe.

His eyes went immediately and he shook his head negatively “this is a No-no” he said immediately.

Erica slapped her forehead out of frustration and groaned.

“Gosh I am tired” Erica cried like a baby.

He laughed out lowly seeing the face she made “okay, try another one on let’s see” he replied

“Last one.. and I’m done” she replied as she went back into the dressing room

“you will be if the dress you’d eventually pick would be good” he replied

And then in no time, she came out in a long red off shoulder gown, the perfect size for her, it wasn’t too big but just her exact size.

She wore a silver dangling earrings on and a silver necklace around her neck, a very expensive one in fact.

And on her legs was a silver high heel, very high heel.

Aurelio could see her beautiful curves and slowly a smile appeared on his face.

His eyes ran over her body like he was scanning her body with his eyes.

“honey…” he stood up immediately as she turned her back to him and he could see her perfect hip curves,a part of her back was showing and then he clapped his hands.

“What now?” Erica groaned

“beautiful! At least your back isn’t showing too much if not you would have gone back” he replied with a smirk

“ but damn, you look hot in this dress honey. We are taking this definitely” he said as she released a sigh

“Finally!!!” Erica exclaimed

Aurelio could understand why she exhaled that heavily, he patiently waited for her return and in less than 5 minutes, she walked out with the bag of the cloth in her hand and then Aurelio went to get others that they had bought. And it wasn’t just bags and shoes, he bought her expensive jewelries and other accessories.

He didn’t waste too much time and went to the cashier to pay the bills

All the bags were taken to the car and then Rowan drove them home.

Erica was obviously looking tired that she rested her head at the back, Aurelio looked at her and instead, he pulled her to himself and rested her head on his shoulder.

She said nothing but slowly closed her eyes and rested on his shoulders while he stroked her arm.

HOURS LATER;

The maids had arranged her new accessories m, dresses, shoes and everything in the walk-in closet .

It was time, Aurelio had worn his white suit with a touch of red and walked to the bed to see Erica was already dressed up looking as beautiful, elegant and hot as always.

“Honey..the dress looks so good on you” he smiled at her

She picked up her purse and walked to him taking his hands in.

“Thank you!” she giggled, he fixed his eyes on her expecting another word which she knew and instead she laughed out lowly.

“you really don’t want to say it hmm?” he laughed

“Baby, shall we go?” she asked him instead.

Aurelio’s eyes went wide “did you just call me baby?” he could feel joy bursting from within

Erica smiled instead and turned to leave, “honey! Wait!” he called out as he rushed to her and walked out of the room with her.

Rowan was already waiting for them outside the house in the black flying spur. Not so long Erica walked into the car with Aurelio’s hands around her shoulder.

And slowly he drove away to the party.

Minutes later,

They arrived at the hotel, as expected.. there were numbers of people. Those he know and those he doesn’t.

Aurelio spotted his father and went to him with Erica to greet him.

“I must say, you look good! You both do” his father said immediately

“Gosh! The dress looks so beautiful on you my dear, Aurelio.. you should have called me to get her the dress, damnit!” Mrs Camila said as she hit him gently

“I’m so sorry mom, I forgot” Aurelio apologized immediately

“I’m sorry Lala” Erica added

“it is okay dearie, there’s another day” Mrs Camila replied and immediately Aurelio heard a voice calling him from behind.

“Aurelio?!”

He turned around to see Martin, one of his classmates before him.

“Martin?” he called out surprised too to see him

Out of Joy, Aurelio went to him and pulled him to a hug immediately.

“damn it’s been years!!” he said as he pulled away while Erica stood to watch him with a smile on her face.

“Exactly!” Martin replied out of joy too.

At this time, the whole crowd already turned their attention to the both of them.

Martin turned to Erica with a smile, she returned a smile to him too “And who is this pretty lady beside you?” Martin raised his brows at Aurelio.

“Aurelio..don’t tell me you-” Martin was cut short immediately

“Sorry I didn’t introduce you to her before now” Aurelio said as he wrapped his hands around Erica’s waist and pulled her more closer to himself.

People took out their phones especially his new employees.

His grandpa had just arrived at the scene and went to his Dad.

“This is Erica James, my fiancée" he gave a straight reply immediately with a proud look on his face.

Everyone gasped immediately.
