Chapter 3 sisters
Sean's POV
"There will be no mistake, sir; the project will be carried out smoothly with a good outcome." He assured us, and I nodded at him.
"Good! You can now..." My conversation was interrupted because of a certain person.
"Ah! Miss M.K." Frank called out in surprise; he wasn't expecting her to show up, at least not at this moment.
I growled in frustration as I saw the former's face.
"Please excuse us." I quickly demanded.
Frank and Morris hurried out of the office; they didn't want to get involved in the fight between these two.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned her coldly.
M.K. walked close to me, ignoring my question.
Mary Kane, who is known as M.K., is a famous model and actress in Wax Town. She is known as one of the queens in the entertainment industry because of her stunning look and skills.
She is a member of the Diamond Pack, the cousins of Luna.
She is my subordinate mate; I was destined to have two mates, but I, being a man of principles, refused. I preferred only one woman as a mate.
This decision of mine will resort to the never-ending battle between the two of us, but I don't care.
However, she was only mated to one wolf, which is me, and if I don't claim her, then nobody will, and she will never have a mate of her own.
"You know what I want, Sean!" "Why are you punishing me, what have I done to you for you to keep rejecting me?" She cried out in anger.
I threw up the bridge of my nose out of frustration.
"M.K., how many times do I need to explain this to you? I can't mate you!" I roared out.
"That's bullshit!" M.K. shouted before standing up from her seat.
She walked elegantly closer to me, and the clacking sound of her heels entertained the tense atmosphere.
"Honey! "We can make this work; just give it a chance." Her voice was soft and luring as she traced my jawline with her thumb.
I groan in irritation and grip her wrist, saying, "Enough, Miss M.K., please leave my office." I placed my order firmly.
M.K. flinched in rage, "How dare you order me out of your office?" She asked in anger.
"Sigh,"
"Fine! " I will forgive you for today, but keep in mind that I'm giving you just two weeks to come and claim me!" She affirmed it and stormed out of my office.
I breathed in relief. I picked up a cup of coffee and gulped it down.
"I need to take care of her as soon as possible; she is becoming a pest." I murmured softly; my body was heated because of her touch.
Just a single touch from her could make me melt, and besides, she is meant to be my subordinate mate, so that bond thing is giving me a hard time, and I could feel my lust growing for her lately!

Sonnet's POV
I was in my bedroom, going through some notifications on my phone.
My blonde hair was tied up in a ponytail, and my beautiful brown eyes were shining brightly, accompanied by two dimples, which appear on both sides of my cheeks with a perfectly shaped gap tooth. I know I'm beautiful.
My father often says I look just like my mother, and I guess she must really be a beauty to behold; it's so unfortunate I never grew up to know her because she died one year after my birth.
"Sis," my young sister, Scarlett, called out softly.
She is a beautiful young girl with average height. Her beautiful curly blonde hair graced her face, giving her a stunning look, but her beauty was no match for mine.
"Hey, come here." I say this to her happily.
Scarlett walked towards me; she sat down on the bed beside me and stared at my face in order to read the facial expression I was carrying. She is always so good at doing that.
"Stop staring; I'm fine." I quickly muttered something out in order to avoid her never-ending questions.
"You're not; Mom and Dad told me about your suitor; you don't want to get married, right?" She questioned me.
I sigh in frustration. "You and I both know that I don't have a choice here; I can't go against Dad." I pronounced it with a heavy heart.
"Sorry, sis, it must really be hard for you."
"But I'm confused, sis." You and I both know you don't have a boyfriend, not to mention a fiance, so how did you manage to show one to Dad?" My sister asked out of curiosity.
"Hush! Someone might hear you! I scolded her and stood up to check around in order to be sure that my room door was locked.
"Sorry."
"Well, it's a secret; I don't know the guy; in fact, I have never met him before; I just got him to act with me for awhile." I explained.
"Huh! "You lied to Mom and Dad!" My sister grasped at shock.
"I had no choice, Scarlett; I was in trouble." I mumble with my head bowed in shame.
Scarlett sighed softly when she noticed the sadness in my eyes.
Well, let's forget about that for now. Can we go and play chess outside?" "I miss playing that game with you, sis," she demanded in an exciting tone.
"Sure, I think that's the only thing I can do best." I say this with a sad smile before interlocking hands with my sister.
We both exited the room and went to the game courtyard, located in the residence.
