Chapter 4

After Kelly left, a man came inside and glanced at her until the man's gaze narrowed when he realized that it wasn't an ordinary woman.

He walked over to Alan, who had already sat down, and leaned against the back of the black chair, leaning over while placing his palm on the left chest. The thrust looked up and said.

"Alpha... Is the one who came in here earlier, Mate?"

Alan opened his eyes and looked at the face of the man there with a flat gaze. He straightened up, then sighed.

"How is the state of the war? Is it still capable of dealing with the madness of that old Alpha?" he asked, changing the subject.

He was reluctant to answer the questions of this oldest Beta, Rocky, who had been his assistant in the Werewolf world as well as in the human world. He met Rocky when they were kids, accidentally meeting in elementary school.

Humans also took care of Rocky, while he also found his Luna in the human world. It seemed like their worlds were too messy, so now they met here and recognized each other.

"According to the original plan, we can only survive for the next three months. Our strength and food sources are also only available for the next three months, and if it's longer than that, then our troops and followers may die from exhaustion and strength. Only with Luna can we gain additional energy and strength to defeat the old Alpha. Any more than that, and we'll be wiped out, and you'll have a hard time rebuilding your kingdom." Rocky explained as he looked down, making Alan sigh a few times.

He didn't know how to behave now that his dead were also staying away from him at the moment. Kelly Flora... Although she was in his company and even worked on the same floor as him, it would be challenging to win his heart. Kelly was no ordinary woman; she was a Mate, aka pure wolf descendant, who had the most potent heirloom in the wolf clan in her body; it was not easy to conquer her.

"Have you made friends with mate yet? We have to do it immediately and get it over with, sir. Otherwise, it will all fall apart, and we won't have any peace living there. You can't possibly let the old Alpha stay in power any longer; he will only bring destruction to the Werewolf nation." Rocky said, making Alan sigh.

"I've found her, but she doesn't want to be with me."

Rocky raised his eyebrows. "Why? What's the reason Mate doesn't want to be with you?"

It didn't make sense because, in every way, Alan was a handsome man with solid charm. He was also wealthy, and for a class of women, he was a prize.

"She asked me the cause of the war, and I explained what happened in the past. But the mistakes my father made in the past are like the shame of all time. The woman who became my eternal partner even thought about being with me because she was afraid that one day I would make her like my mother. Plus, in the human world right now, my adoptive father is indeed keeping you with one of his coworker's daughters. In this category, I have to fight for and show her that I only want her to be Luna and my future wife in the wolf world or the human world." Alan said as he closed his eyes.

He was thinking of ways to get her into his arms. He needed her help shortly, and three months was not a good thing if he had to stall for time because his followers and people made him a leader.

"You have to convince her; it's not that difficult if you intend to make her the one and only. However, if you think about the events of old Alpha's time and old Luna's time, whoever will be your next Luna will be afraid. After all, no one wants to be betrayed in this world." Rocky said, making Alan sigh.

"I haven't said anything about my decision to what Daddy said. There's no way I will marry someone who isn't my eternal partner. I can easily reject the girl he set me up with because I'm his only child and h, and he can't force me. All I have to do is bring Kelly and introduce her as my future wife, and Daddy will like whichever girl I bring." Alan said with a calm face that made Rocky nod.

"Then you should discuss this with Mr. Big, lest he get to set you up with the girl he wants. After all, you must be a loyal Alpha and not let the old incident repeat itself."

Alan sighed and nodded. "You can rest assured, I won't follow my asshole father. I have my way of life, and I will prove to my mother that I will continue the generation of the Werewolf clan better. I'll make everyone feel more free, and there won't be any wars like this. I assure you this will happen," he said firmly, making Rocky nod.

He believed in what Alan would do, and so far, he had tried to create peace. It was only because of Luna's help that they needed so they couldn't finish the war.

"You investigate the woman who came out of my room earlier; she is my Mate," Alan ordered. "Find out about her life and family in the human world. Then, find out what she will do after this job. I want you to do it now," he added, making Rocky smile and nod obediently.

He walked away, leaving Alan, who had gone back to focusing on his work. After all, in the human world, he was the son of a wealthy man who would be the heir to the company, while in the wolf world, he was also an Alpha and the leader of the wolf nation. Everything he did had to be balanced because he also needed the human world to be his hiding place.

"Her name is Kelly Flora, the stepdaughter of the Warmosh family; Ken Warmosh is her stepfather, while Kyle Warmosh is her stepbrother. Her mother's name is Sienna Flora, and she married into the Warmosh family eight years ago. I have been trying to gather information about Miss Kelly, and I found out that she is favored by her stepbrother and pursued by him. Tonight, I know that she is scheduled to fulfill a promise; her stepbrother said he will take her to a bar if she gets a job. Do you want to go there?" Rocky asked as he drove after explaining about Kelly's origins.

"Her stepbrother likes her?"

"That's right, her stepbrother also has a slightly arrogant and evil attitude. Most likely, he will set Miss Kelly up because I have a bad feeling, so we should follow her to the bar, sir," Rocky said carefully. "Don't let anything happen."

Alan blinked his eyes until they looked a little blue. "To the bar," he ordered flatly.

Rocky nodded obediently. "Okay."
