Chapter 5 Falling Asleep in Her Fragrance
She immediately turned around, "Mr. Harrington, you've got the wrong person. I'm not Mrs. Harrington!"
Dominic then realized that he was holding the young maid instead of Kylie.
**He furrowed his handsome brows slightly, realizing that this was the second time he had mistaken **Ava for Kylie.
At that moment, they heard a voice from outside calling out to the maid, "Mrs. Harrington."
Kylie had arrived!
Ava panicked as Dominic's hands were still on her waist. She quickly reached out and grabbed his arm to push him away and said: "Mr. Harrington, let go of me! Mrs. Harrington is here."
His strong arms held firm as Ava accidentally grabbed onto his expensive steel watch on his wrist with her trembling fingertips.
Dominic released her just as Ava turned around and pricked her finger on a thorn from a rose branch.
"Ouch," she winced in pain.
Looking at Ava's anxious expression made it seem like she was afraid of him every time they met; always looking down and avoiding eye contact with him.
He remembered how she had these moist clear eyes which could speak volumes without saying anything - very alluring to men indeed.
"Where did you hurt yourself?" He asked softly.
"It's nothing serious; thank you for your concern Mr.Harrington," replied Ava while trying to stop the bleeding by sucking on her fingers gently.
Dominic looked down at her lips - cherry red and tender-looking- naturally seductive towards men.
His gaze darkened slightly before Kylie walked into the room causing them both to separate abruptly.
"Ava what are you doing? Get back to work!" scolded Kylie when she saw them together in close proximity.
"Yes ma'am," replied Ava rushing off to the kitchen.
"Darling, let's go have breakfast," Kylie said sweetly to Dominic.
