3. New Maid, a Human

Ana's POV

"What is this? The shirt and pants are too big for me. His pants are really long," I grumbled in annoyance when I saw Leo's shirt and pants that I was currently wearing.

"Oh God, that guy is so tall, like a power pole. I shouldn't wonder why his pants and shirt are oversized and long for me. Even when I'm not wearing pants, his shirt already covers my thighs." I looked at myself in the mirror.

I cast my eyes around the room, looking for something that could help me shrink the pants. "There it is!" I walked towards a special cabinet that had many belts hanging in it. "I can use the belts so that the pants won't sag when I wear them." I immediately took one belt and put it on.

"The size of the pants is fixed, now the length." I raised one leg on the bed. Then I immediately rolled up my pants so they wouldn't get too long. Then I did the same with my other leg.

After finishing, I looked back at my appearance in the mirror. "Never mind, this is better than the previous one," I sighed tiredly.

"Hey!!! Ana!!! Are you coming home with me or not? It's taking so long!!!" Leo's sudden shout from outside surprised me.

I ran out of the room. I didn't want to be left behind by Leo. Today I would get out of this luxurious mansion in the middle of Leo's forest.

"You took so long! I'm tired of waiting for you!" Leo immediately grumbled when I arrived in front of him.

"Sorry, hehe," I laughed softly.

Leo looked at my appearance, watching me from top to bottom. "Why? Why are you holding back your laughter?" I asked, feeling offended.

Leo, who was holding back his laughter, finally couldn't help it and burst out laughing. "Hahahahaha... you're so funny. You're like a crazy person. Hahahahaha...." he laughed out loud at my appearance.

I clucked in annoyance. "Shut up! I wouldn't wear this if I didn't have to!" I told him to shut up, but he couldn't stop laughing.

"Shut up, Leo!!!" I shouted in annoyance.

Leo immediately stopped laughing, suddenly.

"What's wrong?" I asked, confused. I couldn't understand why Leo suddenly stopped laughing and had an annoyed look on his face.

"No, it's nothing. Let's hurry. We're leaving now." Leo walked down the stairs, and I followed behind.

"Sir, are you leaving now? I will escort you with the warriors," Rocky bowed his head as Leo arrived before him.

"No need. I'll go alone," Leo rejected Rocky.

"But sir--"

"No buts, Rocky! This is an order. Do you think I'm a child who should always be protected? In case you've forgotten, I'm the leader here," Leo stared at Rocky with his sharp gaze.

"Turns out Leo can be serious too," I thought to myself.

"You just do your job that I've given you." Leo said firmly.

"Yes, sir. I will do well," Rocky bowed obediently.

Without saying anything else, Leo walked straight to his car, and I followed close behind.

"Hey!" I was surprised when Leo shouted at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked, confused.

"You want to sit in the back. You think I'm your driver? You sit in the front," Leo told me to sit beside him.

"You can talk casually. You yelled at me like I was a thief. You're making me nervous!" I grumbled, then I immediately opened the car door and got in.

Leo got into the car, then immediately drove off, leaving the mansion. He was going back to the city, which was what I had been waiting for.

Along the way, we would only pass through the forest, a vast forest. There would be no people or vehicles going back and forth like a normal road.

"What exactly is this place?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"The forest. Can't you see? It's a forest, not the sea. Why ask again," Leo answered aloud.

"I know it's a forest. Who also said it's a river?! I mean, why is there a luxury mansion in the middle of the forest? Then why are there so many workers in your mansion? What are you really, are you doing illegal business that you have to hide in the middle of the forest?" I asked Leo again. I had been curious since yesterday, but I only asked today.

"Fine! I've never done any illegal business," Leo denied my suspicions.

"So what, you're a mobster?" I asked again.

"No!!!" Leo denied again.

"Then what? Can you tell me straight away? Even if you were a mobster and illegal businessman, I wouldn't report you to the police because you helped me." I was furious, and my curiosity about who Leo really was was growing.

"Why do you want to know so much? I'm just an ordinary person. I'm a businessman; I have a company in the city. I got tired of living in the city, so I built a mansion in the forest," Leo answered, But of course, I doubt all of his answers were lies.

"How could you build a mansion in the middle of the forest? Is this forest yours? Doesn't it belong to the state?" I asked again.

"You have so many questions. Why do you want to know so much? Are you a spy sent by someone to watch me?" Leo asked, probing.

"No! Of course not! Where would a spy be injured and stranded on a forest road," I panicked, not wanting to be accused of being a spy.

"Then, who are you? How did you get to this forest? No one has ever entered this forest other than my people," Leo took turns interrogating me.

"No idea. I don't know why I'm here either. I was kidnapped, I don't know what area this is. I was kidnapped, and I tried to escape. The kidnappers kept chasing me, so I went into the forest so that they would have trouble chasing me. And in the end, I ended up in this forest," I shared the reason why I ended up in this forest.

"Are you being honest?" asked Leo.

"Of course I'm honest! You think I'm a liar? I never lie!" I took offense, assuring him that I was telling the truth.

"Then where do you want me to put you down?" asked Leo.

"I don't know either. When I'm out of the forest, I'll tell you," I said, realizing that I didn't even know where I would be dropped off. I didn't even know what area this was.

Leo nodded, refocusing on driving and being alert. He had to be alert wherever he was; the enemy could come at any time.

30 minutes passed, and Leo and I had arrived in the city. Today's weather was bad, with rain and thunder.

"Where do you want to get off? We're already in the city," Leo asked.

I looked confused, peering out of the car window. "I'll just get off here," I replied, feeling resigned. Inevitably, I had to get off at some point.

"Are you sure? There's no shade here on this road," Leo looked around, realizing there was indeed no place to shelter.

"It's okay. I don't know what area this is anyway. I don't know where I'm going either, and I don't know the direction. I'll just get off here," I stayed with my choice, deciding to get off on this road.

"That's fine then," Leo agreed with my decision.

I prepared to go down, covering my ears with my hands. My body trembled slightly, and my face looked scared.

"Why?" Leo asked when he saw my hand trembling as I opened the car door.

"It's okay," I replied quietly.

"Are you sick?" Leo asked again.

"No..."

"Aaaaaa!!!" I screamed, closing the car door again and immediately cowering in fear when lightning struck.

"Are you afraid of lightning?" Leo asked conjecturally.

I didn't answer, but he heard a sob.

"Are you really so afraid of lightning that you're crying like that?" Leo asked me again, but I didn't answer him at all.

Leo sighed. "You didn't even answer my question. You can cry, but you can't answer my questions. You're crazy!" he looked annoyed.

Leo drove his car and took me to his apartment. He was going to make me a maid in his apartment so that he wouldn't have to bother cleaning anymore.

"I'll give you a place to stay for a while. But it's not free. You have to pay for it with labor. You have to clean my apartment. Don't let a single grain of dust settle on the floor."

Leo decided to take me in.
