Move on

Janna

I couldn't hold back my tears as I stared at Alpha Jake, desperation and heartache etched across my face. "Is it true?" I implored, my voice choked with emotion. "Do you really have a child now? And a new woman in your life?"

Alpha Jake, his expression bordering on annoyance, nodded solemnly. "Yes, Janna, it's true."

My tears flowed uncontrollably, and I couldn't comprehend why Alpha Jake, the man who once professed his love for me, would choose someone else. I grabbed onto him, desperately seeking solace in his embrace. "Why?" I cried. "Why would you want someone else now? I thought you loved me so much."

Alpha Jake, his patience wearing thin, spoke sternly. "Janna, things change. I have a family now, and they are my priority. You need to accept that."

My heart shattered at his words, and I clung to him tighter. "But what about us? What about the love we shared?" I sobbed, my voice filled with anguish.

Alpha Jake sighed, his annoyance apparent. "Janna, we can't go back. I have responsibilities as an Alpha and a father. I can't undo what has happened."

In a moment of desperation, I tearfully pleaded, "Please, Alpha Jake. Don't push me away. I can be a part of your family. Just give me a chance. I thought we were meant to be together."

Alpha Jake gently tried to disentangle himself from my grasp. "Janna, you need to respect my decisions. I care about you, but my family comes first now."

Unable to contain my grief, I continued to cry, my voice filled with desperation. "I can make you happy. We can be a family."

Alpha Jake finally freed himself, his expression pained. "Janna, it's not that simple. I can't change the choices I've made. You need to move on."

I slumped against a nearby chair, my spirit broken, and Alpha Jake exchanged a solemn look with Rico.

In a desperate attempt to salvage what remained of my relationship with Alpha Jake, I mustered all the strength I had left and, with tear-streaked cheeks, I fell to my knees before him. "Alpha Jake," I implored, my voice shaking with emotion, "please, don't cast me aside so easily. I beg you to give me another chance."

Alpha Jake looked taken aback by my sudden display of vulnerability. I could see the uncertainty in his eyes as he observed my pitiful state. Suppressing a secret grin, I continued to plead my case, hoping to appeal to the remnants of our shared history.

"I made a grave mistake leaving before," I confessed, my voice trembling. "But now, standing here in front of you, I've come to realize the depth of my love for you. I can't bear the thought of losing you. Please, Alpha Jake, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make things right again."

As I knelt before him, I stole a glance at his expression. Alpha Jake seemed conflicted, torn between my desperate plea and the responsibilities that now defined his life. Inwardly, I celebrated the flicker of doubt that crossed his face.

"I know I hurt you, and I deeply regret it," I continued, my words filled with remorse. "But I've changed, Alpha Jake. I'm ready to commit to you and your family. Please, find it in your heart to forgive me."

Despite my pitiful display, Alpha Jake remained silent, his eyes searching mine for sincerity. I pressed on, my desperation driving me to new lows. "I'll do anything, Alpha Jake. I'll prove to you that we're meant to be together. Just give me this chance, please."

Alpha Jake's gaze remained fixed on me, his expression unreadable. I maintained my submissive posture, silently hoping that beneath his stoic demeanor, he was reconsidering our fate.

I remained on my knees, fixated on Alpha Jake, as Rico stepped forward, a stern expression etched across his face. "Janna, I understand that emotions are running high, but causing trouble for Alpha Jake won't change the situation. Please, reconsider your actions," Rico urged, his tone a mix of authority and concern.

Ignoring Rico's plea, I continued to gaze into Alpha Jake's eyes, my own eyes pleading for him to acknowledge the depth of our shared history. "Alpha Jake," I whispered, my voice choked with emotion, "we've been through so much together. You can't deny that what we had was special. I know you still feel it too."

Alpha Jake's response was measured, his features composed as he regarded me with a careful scrutiny. Rico, sensing the gravity of the situation, maintained a watchful stance, ready to intervene if needed.

"Janna," Alpha Jake finally spoke, his voice firm yet tinged with a hint of weariness, "what we had is in the past. Things have changed. I have responsibilities now—responsibilities that extend beyond our past relationship."

I shook my head in defiance, unwilling to accept his words. "No, Alpha Jake, our connection is timeless. I can feel it. I know you love me. We can make this work. Please, don't let the past dictate our future."

Rico interjected again, a note of urgency in his voice. "Janna, you need to understand. Alpha Jake has a family now, and his priorities have shifted. It's crucial that you respect his choices and move forward."

I turned my attention back to Alpha Jake, desperation and determination warring within me. "Alpha Jake, I can be a part of your family. I can be the Luna you need. Just give me the chance to prove it."

Alpha Jake's expression softened for a moment, a flicker of sympathy in his eyes. "Janna, it's not that simple. I care about you, but I've made commitments, and I can't change that."

Undeterred, I reached out to touch Alpha Jake's hand, my voice a whisper. "You're my fated mate, Alpha Jake. We can overcome anything together. Please, don't turn away from what we share."

Rico's concern deepened, but Alpha Jake, maintaining his composure, gently withdrew his hand. "Janna, it's time to accept the reality of our situation. I need you to respect my choices and move on."
