Everyone doesn't like it

As it turned out, the news of Ryan and Lily's divorce also reached Scott, Ryan's cousin who lived abroad and deliberately came to Jakarta just to interrogate Lily's ex-husband.

One month after the news broke, news also broke of Ryan's closeness with a famous adult model named Sarah. This was actually what infuriated Scott. Ryan foolishly let go of Lily, a woman as delicate as an angel for Sarah, a woman he thought was cheap.

Ryan's cell phone rang loudly on this sunny morning. The white color came through the gap in the curtain and stabbed Ryan's eyes that had opened slowly. He grabbed the cell phone and unlocked it to see the many calls from his distant cousin.

"Ah, that brat again," he muttered. Ryan stretched his body. His eyes narrowed, slowly opened fully then got up and staggered to the bathroom.

After cleaning up, Rayyan opened the curtains and windows to let the sunlight into the room. On the side of Ryan's bed, there was still a woman who was still asleep while raising the blanket to her head. Ryan smiled, stood in front of her and pulled back the blanket covering her innocent body.

"Eungghh..." Her whimpering made Ryan couldn't resist pulling her nose and cheeks lightly.

"Wake up, baby. It's morning." Ryan ruffled her hair, and she woke up.

"What time is it?" The slanted eyes typical of waking up opened slightly, his hand moving to find the cell phone on the nightstand.

"Seven in the morning. Let's take a shower; I'll make breakfast."

Ryan turned around, but Sarah's hand stopped him. Ryan raised two eyebrows.

"When are we getting married? It's been a month since you and Lily's divorce," she whined. Ryan sighed softly. His breathing was labored. He was not able to say yes to this one.

"I'm still busy, Sarah. Later."

"Every night I'm with you to sleep. Haven't I waited enough?" Sarah woke up and sat on the bed. Her white breasts were exposed under the covers. Last night they had a hot struggle on the bed until morning.

"Patience, Sarah. Everything needs a process. What will people say if I suddenly marry you when my divorce is only one month old?" Ryan refused. Sarah's lips twitched. Her eyes glazed over, and two tears fell down her white cheeks.

"So, what will people say if I find out I'm pregnant with your child?" Sarah shouted. Ryan was silent. His eyes were glued to Sarah's flat stomach, which was not wrapped in anything. He held back his desire to touch Sarah this morning. His mind was still in turmoil from last night.

"Alright. You just prepare the date; we get married next month."

Ryan turned around, leaving Sarah still sitting on the bed. Her smile widened after she managed to make Ryan submit to her orders. Didn't Ryan love her very much?

Ting nong

The front doorbell rang loudly. Ryan ignored it one or two times, but over time the sound became deafening. Reluctantly, Ryan stopped his cooking activity for a moment and ran to the front door. Sarah, who had just come out of the room, suddenly stopped him.

"I'll do it."

Ryan returned to the kitchen and cleaned up the rest of the dishes. Sarah also rushed to the front door and opened it.

"Is Ryan there?" the person behind the door asked abruptly, without greeting. Sarah chuckled softly, mumbling as she swore rudely at the person with a smack of her lips.

"Who are you?" Sarah asked curtly. Scott, the figure scanned from toe to head of the woman before him. Then a smirk escaped his lips.

"You are Sarah?" Sarah gasped. The man standing in front of her knew her name before she introduced herself.

"I-yeah. Who are you?" pointed Sarah Scott didn't answer; he entered without permission while dragging the suitcase he had hidden behind him. Sarah yelled out to Scott, "Heh."

Her hand pulled the man's arm until he almost fell backwards.

"What the hell?" Scott pulled his arm away. His clothes were messy and wrinkled from the tug. "I should have asked, who are you?"

Scott pointed at Sarah's forehead and pushed her back. Sarah didn't take it; she pushed Scott's chest, but to no avail, as her hands were roughly knocked away by the burly man.

"I'm Ryan's future wife," Sarah shouted loudly. Scott's eyes glared at Sarah, and his smirk was again on his face. He scanned Sarah again, then sneered at her in a low voice.

"Wife-to-be? What have you got, hallucinating about being Ryan's wife? Hey, the Eldison family is a respected family with noble titles running through every descendant. Who like this wants to be Ryan's mistress? Dream!"

Scott's hand pushed against Sarah's forehead. Instantly, the woman fell silent. She felt hurt to be harassed by this man whose name she did not know. But from his explanation earlier, it was certain that he was Ryan's closest person.

"Scott Eldison!" shouted Ryan from the kitchen. He had heard the argument between Scott and Sarah just now. Moreover, Scott had underestimated Sarah's sexy appearance, which might be very strange in the eyes of a nobleman like Scott.

Scott turned his head. They stared, locking eyes with each other. The calm gaze Scott used to give his cousin turned flat and looked fierce.

"Oh, you live together now? What do you call it, cohabitation?" Scott quipped. Ryan couldn't get angry when faced with Scott and his spicy mouth. Moreover, Scott is the most beloved grandson of his late grandfather. Of course, now he is still the favorite of his extended family too.

"Don't be rude; she is my future wife. Her name is Sarah. We live together to know each other's personalities and lives," Ryan explained.

His lips trembled with something he was hiding. Scott actually didn't want to bother with all his cousin's depraved behavior; it was just that surely his grandfather's big name would be tarnished later.

Scott nodded. "Yes, he knows. That gossip reporter you paid off didn't work against Uncle Steward's spies."

"Is he also looking for Lily?" Ryan asked again. Scott, who was about to step into the guest room, suddenly turned around.

"Not yet, but Uncle Steward seems to be looking for her." Scott took a quick glance and entered the guest room he used to stay in when Lily and Ryan were still together.

Back then, the three of them often held garden parties together. Every weekend at the end of the month, Lily would throw a small party to unwind after a month of work.

He even still remembers Lily's biggest wish at that time. A wish that she may not have been able to achieve during her one-year marriage with Ryan, her husband at the time.

"I want to have children. But Ryan doesn't seem to want them," she said sadly. Scott sensed the sadness behind Lily's beautiful smile, which she shared with her husband.

Standing beside the living room window overlooking the lush back garden, the memory of that time came back to him. Scott closed his eyes, imagining that she was still in this house. Unfortunately, it's all just a memory. In fact, even his image has now disappeared with the wind.

'I wish my grandfather had set me up with Lily. She must be happy now.'
