2- Penelope cold and rainy

Penelope turns on the player and Coldplay - Paradise starts playing, she walks around her house naked swaying her hips and singing along to the Coldplay song. "Ohh, ooh, ohhh," she dances around lightly as she cooks her toast and fries eggs and broccoli salad for breakfast and prepares for a warm, bubbly bath; dancing and going naked around her apartment in Valencia is one of the things she most enjoys doing in the mornings. Her neighbors are the best, and they never complain about the noise coming from her apartment where there is always music, in the mornings before going to the University, in the afternoons when she comes back and gets involved in some archeology or ancient history research she is asked to do in the press department where she works. When she researches and studies she also listens to music, so being Penelope's neighbor is to get used to her natural and music-loving state where she has a soundtrack ready for any situation.

She wears sunglasses, white jeans and a pastel pink blouse, black low-heeled sneakers and leaves the parking lot of her property driving fast, praying she won't get caught in traffic. She has lost track of time by spending too much time under the shower, as the cold weather that morning made her stay a few extra minutes under the hot shower. She arrives at the University while all the way there a single thought and a single song keep playing over and over again in repeat mode.

Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars is playing, her favorite song since the first time she heard it. And the only thought that accompanies her is how beautiful the rainy weather feels. She really enjoys listening to the music on her way to the University, plus the weather seems perfect that morning, cold and fresh, like the clouds naturally of her beloved hometown, because although Penelope lives in Valencia, she was born in the Venezuelan Andes. She takes off her sunglasses and leaves them in the case on the glove compartment of the car, as she gets out of the car some light raindrops fall on her brown hair, then she turns her head towards the sky with her eyes squinting at the white clouds that begin to spread in a gray sky, and the cold breeze moves her hair, she sighs and walks towards her Egyptian History class.

As she enters the classroom her friends save a seat for her, right at the last row of desks. Akiro takes the bag over the empty desk allowing Penelope to sit down. She enters the classroom in her pastel pink blouse now wet from a few raindrops and her hair looks like it's just out of the shower, the waves of her thick brown hair falling down her back and standing out on the bench of her shoulders. Her face looks natural and with a fresh glow, with her thick eyebrows fringing her face and her striking brown eyes shining above her cheekbones, Penelope wears light pastel pink makeup and a cranberry lip gloss that stands out along with a light blush on her cheeks. As she enters the salon she seems to permeate it with a vanilla scent that everyone can smell, as some slyly turn to look at Penelope.

  • Sorry, I lost track of time because of the rain - He whispers and kisses the cheek of a smiling girl with straightened black hair and another girl with Asian features. At the front of the room, a professor continues to talk about the XVIII Dynasty next to a photograph of Nefertiti reflected in the laptop player.

  • Arriving is chaos when it rains - assures a girl dressed in a black skirt and lace tights, along with braided boots, she has a kind expression and a smile drawn on her Asian face, her cheekbones are lost giving her face the perfect oval shape that Asian dolls have, and her almost imperceptible eyes framed under her eyelids, shine slightly with a sparkle under her short and abundant eyelashes.

  • Hello Aiko - says Penelope kissing Aiko's cheek.

  • I actually love this weather, it's lovely.

  • It's lovely when you're at home," says Fabiana, who listens carefully to her friends while taking notes. - Not when you're outside and have to go somewhere else.

  • I understand - Penelope laughs.

  • But whether I'm at home or out and about, I love the rain.

  • You say that because your hair is beautiful and natural in the rain - Fabiana says.

  • I blow dry my hair if I get wet I lose the blow dry.

Penelope laughs and looks at Fabiana with compassion and she lets out a light laugh. She observes the straightened black hair that falls shiny and silky behind her friend's back, she wears a black panty and a white turtleneck shirt that makes her look very elegant, Fabiana usually has a very good style when she dresses, she wears black platform heels.

  • Well, if I don't lose the drying.... - Fabiana says staring at her friends - In the evening we can go out, they are having a costume party at Professor Jaqueline's house, the Philanthropy teacher.

  • The parties at Prof. Jacqueline's house are the best - Aiko assures.

  • Yes! I'm in, during the last party they did a play by Oscar Wild, and I met Ernesto - Culmina Fabiana.

  • Which Ernesto? - Penelope asks in a whisper, because she doesn't want the professor to scold them, and as she whispers she gently invites her friends to lower their voices.

  • Ernesto, that was the name of the main actor in the play," Fabiana answered in a whisper, leaning towards the girls, "I knew Ernesto the character, the actor, I don't remember his name, he was a Christian and he didn't want to have sex even though he had an erection.

  • For God's sake! - Penelope bursts out laughing and covers her mouth to prevent the sound of her laughter from echoing.

  • How did you know that?

  • Because it was very noticeable when we were dancing, plus we went to the teacher's library together and he started reading me a book and we kissed, but then he was excited and said that sex was a sin.

-Wow!

  • What a tough friend," said Penelope.

  • Super hard - Fabiana said - Literally.

  • Well, today I have to work all afternoon, but I am free in the evening, we could go. I hope I don't run into any Christians, I don't think they're going to accept me very much.

  • With your paganism and your Greek goddesses I don't think so either.

  • It's better an eclectic like my Jean - Aiko assured.

  • Or an Asian man. You should marry an Asian man, right?

  • If I marry Jean I will break the family tradition - Aiko says and sighs holding her face on her wrist, staring at the back of the room.

  • That's why I love Jean, I could tell him I'm a non-binary Asian and I would feel completely supported by him.

  • Well, the important thing is for you to be yourself - Penelope said softly.

  • What time is the party? - he asked, looking at Fabiana.

  • At 8:18 a.m.
